Pros: Excellent hotel in the city center. Breakfast is excellent. We arrived at 10-00 in Malmö and were offered to leave our bags in the luggage room and we walked without them. Nice staff, at the reception they speak Russian;) in the morning helped to call a taxi to the airport of Malmo (Uber did not come)

Pros: I loved all the little attentions to detail such as the print outs telling more information about the hotel and its history plus the ones about certain items of furniture. We stayed in room 102 which had a beautiful antique “ladies desk” being able to read the history behind it was amazing. I loved the welcoming mat and that it was changed everyday to the day of the week. What can I say about the delicious breakfast apart from WOW, and the vaults themselves, just beautiful.

Pros: This was our first stay at Mayfair and overall a very pleasant experience. There's a rich history to this place, dating all the way back to the early 1300's, and the storyline up until today is told through paintings, newspaper clips, photos, pamphlets, and even by the staff, making it a genuinely rewarding and immersive experience. The bed was very comfortable, the room dark and quiet at night, didn't have a TV (it's a good thing), the location is in the heart of the old town and a mere 5 min walk from the train station that connects to Copenhagen airport and Copenhagen city centre in 25 and 37 min respectively. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. And lastly, the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Cons: The elevator was very very slow, you had to wait long (was 2 next to each other). The cups/glasses in the rooms were dirty. The rooms were not soundproof, you could here everyone passing outside the door, and even the music from the bar (we were located on the 1st floor).

Cons: It‘s absolutely not what you expect from a Scandic hotel. The hotel is more like a youth hostel and it‘s very old and battered. Absolutly not like it lookes like on the photos. The bed was a disaster, I‘ve never seen something in a hotel. It‘s like sleeping in a pit, because it‘s so worn-out that you sink in very much in the middle. We slept very badly and had backache the next day. TV is not really useable because it‘s fitted on the wall beside the bed and not in front of it so you can hardly watch there from the bed, moreover the TV is fixed very high so you have to look up the whole time. Kitchen is not usable as it‘s only a microwave and a fridge. We had only one fork and knife in a double room. Breakfast was not adequat with what we know from other Scandic hotels, they had not even croissants, orange juice was undrinkable etc. All in all a very big disappointment, highly overprized, never again!

Pros: The hostel is located in a very quiet street, close to the Triangeln station and the shopping center. The 6-people bedroom is spacious. Lockers are big enough to put a 40L backpack inside. Don't forget to bring a big padlock. Bed sheets are provided during check-in and must be returned at the reception for check-out. A furnished kitchen can be used for cooking which is great. Toilets and showers are very clean.

Pros: This is an absolutely wonderful hotel. It is just steps away from many restaurants as well as the Old Town Square. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good and replenished to have great selection at all times. There was a problem with my reservation not showing up. Ingrid was checking me in and she was so patient and kind while I used the internet to retrieve my email confirmation. I was able to email Kayak and have them provide proof that I had paid. I was in a total panic thinking that I had maybe booked and prepaid for the wrong night. Thank you so much Ingrid for all of your help.
