The breakfast menu was delicious and varied. The room was very clean and equipped. Good that there was bottled still- and sparkling water as a gift in the room.
The facilities were not super well-maintained, such as scratches in the lift. The Access Cards did fail many times, so they had to be activated again. So many lamps in the room that I could not figure the switches for each one out

Location was great, close to metro. Madrid is large, so need to take metro everywhere. Room was clean and quiet and comfortable. Free water was appreciated.
Did not have kettle in room. Need to walk into different building to get coffee from restaurant. Key card didn't work twice.

We requested the rooms far from elevator yet one of them was just in front. Reception desk was not very helpful

The Breakfast was excellent and even though the hotel was full, the service was excellent. We actually had an upgrade too, so the rooms far exceeded anything we had hoped for
The only thing which could really have improved was the bar. It was at the other end of the second hotel block and it wasn't the largest of bar areas
