Cons: No iron or ironing board in the room; light switches incorporated nightlights which couldn't be turned off and which shone in my eyes all night.

Cons: Room was not ready - no apology. Staff seemed bemused that we did not want to stand around and wait for ages. Very poor. Spa is lovely but not a single shower had shower gel in them. We visited twice but it was not refilled. There was no staff around- relax beds were not made up so all presented without much care. On check out, no question on how our stay was- sums up the attitude of the people working there.

An outstanding breakfast in an attractive space, with plenty of room around food and coffee machines. Filtered coffee available in large, insulated jugs, if preferred. Variety of hot and cold food available. Great access from rail station, just over the road, and easy walking to major sites. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Cons: No safe in room. No fridge, mini bar or tea making facilities. Advertised cafe, as in website, only serves very limited variety of snacks and didn’t seem to operate, although boards indicated menu, no staff seemed to be rostered to take an order. Barman only on duty for short period. Hotel very quiet during our 2 day visit, so this may explain this situation. Close by to other cafes and eating places. Penny supermarket about 200 metres from hotel.

Cons: Service was not that good as the hotel and the price. The reception didn't give any informations. we didn't have an overwiev on the spa, towel or about the breakfast. the waiters are not appropoiate for the kind of hotel with more then 4 stars. service super bad. And something that was super bad: the super cold water in the swimming pool!!! Actually noone was using it, because too cold and it is a waste because it is really nice the spa area.

Cons: One of the main reasons for selecting this hotel was the spa facility however the pool was very cold and the ambient was not too relaxing. The room itself is overpriced. The bed is overly big and not too comfortable (2 queen size mats). There's no bath kit nor hair conditioner which is very disappointing for this price.

Pros: The hotel is excellent, great location the best really, super clean, comfy and modern rooms, lovely breakfast. The only issue was with a staff member at reception who was being very rude on repeated occasions. Racism is something that should be discussed with your staff, it’s unacceptable. If someone has issues in serving black people then they shouldn’t be allowed to serve this job, I payed money to get the service and I expect certain level of respect. This is just a note, I haven’t made an official complaint, but I hope that this will be given the necessary attention.

Pros: The hotel is excellent, great location the best really, super clean, comfy and modern rooms, lovely breakfast. The only issue was with a staff member at reception who was being very rude on repeated occasions. Racism is something that should be discussed with your staff, it’s unacceptable. If someone has issues in serving black people then they shouldn’t be allowed to serve this job, I payed money to get the service and I expect certain level of respect. This is just a note, I haven’t made an official complaint, but I hope that this will be given the necessary attention.

Cons: I have stayed in Westin properties all over the world and felt the staff here were the poorest trained of any visit. The staff did not seem to care if the guests had a nice stay, and were simply going through the motions. Little things such as ordering an Americano from the barista (who had no idea how to make one) or the front desk who at checkout were poorly organized and seemed disinterested in their jobs. At every step during our stay, we were never made to feel welcome or guests, simply one more person in their line to get through.

Cons: Our room had an open bathroom which can become a little inconvenient with a small toddler due to the air-conditioning. If you are planning to stay during the Whitsun holiday be aware that there is a Wave-Gothic festival taking place in Leipzig at the same time, which means you will likely come across many strange looking hotel guests.

Cons: The room I had, which was with view on the street, was extremely noisy. The tram is passing in front of the building, making a very loud sounds in the room several times per minutes, stopping at very late time in the evening. I was also wake up by some jackhammer sound around 02:30 in the middle of the night from the neighbor works. These are independent from the hotel but just to say if you look for a quiet place, it is not here you'll find it. One of the worst night I've had. Maybe the bedrooms on the back of the hotel are more quiet (I cannot tell for sure).

Cons: At check-in staff not helpful as could have been when we honestly explained that an error had been made in the reservation and there should have been 2 persons in each room instead of one person in each room. In USA the rate is the same but we were charged for the 2nd person. The rooms were very small after they knew there were 2 in each room and the computer was never changed but we were charged at checkout .

Cons: We stayed at an apartment for six people. The unit only had a single bathroom ( toilet, shower, wash basin all in the same room) which makes it very difficult for a larger group of six to get ready. If everyone only takes 10 minutes to shower, brush teeth etc it would take an hour for all, effectively even longer. Highly inconvenient. I will not stay there again just for that reason. Another is that only one TV in one of the rooms can actually receive a TV signal, the others are for decor only (confirmed by reception).

Cons: I was promised (in writing) a quiet room. If what we got was the quiet room, I do not even want to imagine a noisy room. Location practical but super noisy!! Sheets too short for the dirty mattress. Kitchen was included, but there was only one cup, one knife, one fork for two paying guests...

Pros: Location so close to train station and city centre, large room with kitchenette and water boiler + tea, not noisy at all, amazing breakfast. Clean and nice hotel.
Cons: The bed was not comfortabel, matras was very unsupporting, same for the pillow. The water in the shower didn’t run through. Could use some renovating.

Pros: The biggest plus for this hotel is the location. Hotel is right across the main train station. Some of the staff was friendly and helpful. Room size is nice. The breakfast was satisfactory. The buffet selection is ok, but for a 4 star hotel there is room for improvement. You can order coffee of your choice. Additional to the eggs in the buffet section you can order an omelette of your choice or a soft boiled egg.
Cons: The room was not yet finished, half an hour after the check in time. In the elevator was really bad small of garbage every time we used the elevator during our stay. There was another elevator which had a pile of dirty linen in it??? Maybe this is (or should be) a service elevator? The shower is not in great condition and should be thoroughly cleaned. There is a lot of black mildew in the shower. Carpets in the rooms and corridors should be cleaned properly or replaced. Room has a small kitchen which is a nice touch, but in front of it the floor is dirty and stained. Makes a really bad impression. The safe in the room can be used only by getting a key from the reception and giving a deposit. Hotel has a 4 star rating from hotelstars.eu. The first criteria to get this rating is that the general impression should be "high". Unfortunately that is really not the case. Another thing from the critera are the slippers, there are no slippers in the room and upon asking at the reception was informed that they don't have any... I wonder how they got their star rating... The name "Royal" is only on the paper, in reality there is nothing royal about it. Until they do some thorough changes in the hotel and hotel management I would recommend some of the other hotels in the area.

Pros: I wanted a hotel near the railway station and the city for a good price. Because I traveled with a friend I wanted two single beds. I didn't get two single beds but a huge appartement and a balcony. That was really great.
Cons: We had some rainy days and did not turn the lights on in the sleeping room. But when I left, we had a sunny morning and then I remarqued that the here were millimeters of dust in the sleeping room, especially beside the bed. They really should go through with a vacuum cleaner, it's unbelievable.

Pros: Its location is near Leipzig Hbf, just walk 6 min. I like yogurt and coissant very much.
Cons: I cannot find the info or map of Leipzig at the hotel and just know that i have to pay 6euro for tourist tax (exclude room price on booking.com)
