Pros: Breakfast is reasonably priced and very good. The rooms are spotless clean and the free parking is a great bonus! Good location, just in front of the tram station, which provides easy access to the city centre.

Pros: Spacious, clean rooms. Really quiet hotel, considering that a restaurant is on the ground floor and the hotel is on the busy street. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The restaurant (Gaststätte Napoleon) has really good food and beer. Recommended.

Although the room overlooks the restaurant and bar the soundproofing of the windows are to a very high standard and noise was not an issue Good choice of food at breakfast. Secure on site parking great feature. If you want to use the restaurant which is very good go early, it gets full very quickly

Be sure to inform hotel when you plan to arrive as the hotel as reception is not staffed continuously. Need to go through the restaurant to have access hotel if the reception is closed. Free on site parking. City commuter stops across from hotel.

Cons: The beds were good, but the covers and especially the pillow (singular) was very cheap and uncomfortable. The biggest bad remark is that the heating went completely out two nights that I was there (preprogrammed I suppose), so it was chilly in the morning and uncomfortable to shower and dress.

The Red Bull Arena can be easily reached via tram without change of trains. Free WiFi is available. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Lene-Voigt-Park is only 200 metres away, where guests can jog or enjoy a relaxing walk. There are also football, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as table tennis tables. Supermarkets, bars and restaurants are in a short walking distance. Panometer Leipzig is 4.8 km from Internationales Gästehaus Leipzig, while Leipzig Trade Fair is 8 km away. Cons: Place says ample free parking but there wasn’t any. We had to park 3 streets away. Shared bathroom. Shower head holder and sink plug broken. Emailed the hotel about it as we left but no reply.

Pros: Very spacious, also goth- and gay-friendly hotel on the outskirts of Leipzig. If you don’t mind travelling for half an hour into the centre of town (tram station around the corner), this is your ideal choice of a very cosy, comfortable and peaceful stay in Leipzig! WiFi working well, bathroom large (Room 220) and spotless with power shower and an enjoyable breakfast buffet with plenty of choice every morning. Not to mention the seriously friendly, very accommodating and helpful staff around the place! A warm and rare experience for couples and solo travellers to this beautiful city!

Pros: Close to the tram line no. 7 (Haltestelle "Wielandstr."). Self check-in and check-out, which is convenient. There's a place to park your bicycle.
Cons: My bathroom was across the hallway from my actual room, which was a bit of a surprise, but I could live with it (both locked with the same key.) While the bathroom was spotless, the room itself could have been cleaner. Also, there was no proper table in the room, just a small coffee table and a stand-up table of a kind you find in the street next to a bistro. There was a chair, though.

Cons: Tram#7 goes through a bit of a dodgy neighourhood for a few stops where there are lots of boarded up buildings. But this was not a problem for me given the price of the room.

Cons: A bit far from the city center. There was a private bathroom but not inside the room. The room could use a few equipment such as electric kettle, small fridge, etc. which were missing.

Cons: The shattered fluorescent lightbulbs, the dead insects despite closed windows, and as the dead batteries were good indicators of how thoroughly the place was not cleaned. After seeing the online pictures, I wasn't expecting the Ritz, but a little effort towards continuity would have been great. The operator/owner ignored my request for CC tax payment and threatened to forward the 3 EUR bill for collections and to collect an additional fee - all because my initial message was overseen. I'm still trying to clear this up, but - surprise, surprise - the communication from the other side is lacking.
