Pros: The property was beautiful, clean and child-friendly. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful - I was very impressed by every member I encountered (which very rarely happens). We checked in the day after my birthday and the staff sent a cake to my room. I really couldn’t praise them enough. The food was amazing; The Mandarin serves the best breakfast buffet I have ever had the pleasure of well...paying for! We also had the evening buffet at ‘Mosaic’ and we were not disappointed. There were so many cuisines, I was in heaven.

Cons: for some reason, every time that we requested a service at the hotel ( lunch at the hotel, or we played golf ) the stuff was asking to pay in advance instead of charging to our room. A 5 star hotel, asking to pay in advance or we couldn´t use the facilities it was not nice.

Pros: I believe Marriott Tang has the best location in Orchard road, whether you want to be close to an MRT station, taxi pick up point, shopping centre or just walk the amaizing Orchard road, all of these are literally just at the hotel doorstep not even one minute away. It's that best hotel location I've ever been to anywhere. Check in & check out staff where friendly, professional and efficient. Housekeeping was great too job was done perfectly and got 2 complimentary water bottles daily. Room's got good lighting, it can be really bright if you want it to, and when it's time to sleep it can be really dark with no outside light leaking from the side of curtains. Bed is larg and comfy, it has many pillows in different sizes which adds to the comfort. OK now you can read my negatives but please don't let them hold you back from staying here, the hotel is amazing and if you stay here I can guarantee you, you'll be in for a treat!

Cons: It's pricey, I get that it's a Marriott and Inderstand that the location is superb but that still doesn't justify the price. The other negatives have to do with the bathroom, first the shower temperature control needs an improvement (a centimeter handle movement turns the water from super hot to ice cold), second thing is the shower water pressure is definitely not a 5 or even a 4 star hotel grade. These things would've been negligible if the hotel was not that expensive, but for that price I expect it to be perfect. The most annoying negative is when I run the tap water and then cut it off, there comes a weird laud sound of slow water dripping in a pipe somewhere in the background behind the walls (or under the floor) and I say wierd because it's loud and it echoes, it also lasts for few minutes I can here it even when I'm back on my bed. (in case somebody from the hotel management reading this, room was 1001 maybe you want to take a look at it) OK one last thing, I think they can do better in soundproofing the rooms my room was facing the elevator so I could hear the ding dongs plus the sound of neighboring rooms doors was loud as well.

Cons: I have to say there was very little to dislike; however if I have to be too critical I outline a few points: - Malaysia being a Muslim country, I as a female was completely dismissed by male cleaners, they would say hello to my partner, acknowledge my partner every day, whilst I was rudely ignored. I raised this at the reception - as this type of behaviour is deemed rude in Australia, and unfortunately I am the paying customer.

Pros: We visited this Hotel two years ago as well and we liked it so much back then that we definately wanted to come back. The Infinitypool is great and the view was amazing. Also the Hotel isn't far from the KLCC and also the Monorail so you get around the city very well. Also it is great to have a washing machine with dryer function. As this was the last stop in our vacation before going home, we came home with clean clothes!

Pros: We visited this Hotel two years ago as well and we liked it so much back then that we definately wanted to come back. The Infinitypool is great and the view was amazing. Also the Hotel isn't far from the KLCC and also the Monorail so you get around the city very well. Also it is great to have a washing machine with dryer function. As this was the last stop in our vacation before going home, we came home with clean clothes!
Cons: The hotel actually changed quite a bit since our last visit 2 years ago. Then there weren't many people, the pool was a nice retreat and had a great view. Now the view got blocked a little bit by other buildings. You can still see the Petronas Towers but it definately changed which is not a surprise in such a fast growing city. Also right in front of our window in the 43rd Floor workers were building a new skyscraper. But we were actually really disappointed by the breakfast. It was so packed with people and it changed the location from a nice restaurant with buffet and a la carte with a great view to just a buffet for as many people as possible. It has nothing to do with a five star hotel breakfast anymore in my opinion.

After the closet has been repaired we called again for cleaning, because the bathroom was overflow with water, but again it took at least 1 hr before they arrive for cleaning. The wine at bar was not good( has not been stored at proper temperature) lady who served the wine was rude. Food at the brasserie was not tasty.

Cons: We spend our honeymoon back in this Hotel 2016 and decided to come back after 3years. We booked 2 nights and we booked the non refundable rate. They did not charge our credit card before ( as it is usual with the non refundable rate and how it is done in all other hotels !) . Upon the check-in they blocked a ridiculous amount on our credit card and did not allow us to pay right away. The room was a disappointment ( we booked The Suite with TT view , the highest possible category ) as within years the furniture looked scruffy and worn out to the maximum ! It did not feel like back in 2016. Anyway, we made the best of our stay. Due to some circumstances we had to stay one extra night and we went to the reception to ask for the best option. Not like everywhere else in the world the rate for direct booking with the Hotel was cheaper, nope it was a rate offered to us that was twice as high as on bookings and agoda. And than the lady at the front office simple said we should book through bookings and than go back to our room as the computer system needs up to 3 hours to receive a reservation and we should come back and see what will happen. Thanks for the non existing service and help ! After we booked another room category for the extra night as our former ( the suite ) we needed another 10 min to explain everything again to another staff member. As we had a morning flight and had to leave at 6am we decided to go with the standard room without breakfast booked through booking.com . Upon this whole process I wanted to pay again for the full 3 nights but they denied my request and allowed me only to pay for the first 2 nights in the Suite and blocked again my credit card for the extra 3rd night. Thanks again for nothing ! Very quick at blocking credit cards and very useless in offering assistance or help. I am curious how long my credit card will be blocked ;)

Cons: There was a slight Tiger balm-like smell when we first walked into the room. I don’t know what it is but it could be some room perfume that didn’t settle in well with me. It did wear off the next day. The restaurant where we had our breakfast has a nice atmosphere but because we were with an active toddler, it wasn’t that kid friendly as there are two flights of stairs around the area to get your food and back to your seat.

I have noticed this in my 4 different stays on Superior, Deluxe as well as Club Premier rooms. Such a let down for a 4+ Star rated hotel that is striving to be more. Decent Wifi Speeds (4Mb/s). Some doormen open the door for you; while others just watch you walk in and stand there looking at their phones or busy talking to someone else. Inconsistent hospitality (only) at the door is another major let down at this location. Plumbing issues on 2 of my stays thus far, but quickly taken care of.

Cons: We were not made aware about the difference between premium customers and normal customers staying at the hotel when checking in. Gym is only available for premium members which isn’t ideal considering hotels nearby have gyms that are always available to anyone staying at their premises. Went down for breakfast and staff seemed to be more interested in getting people out than in. Breakfast buffet was a bit of a let down as we can clearly tell the food was not authentic to the area and has been adapted to satisfy their foreign customers.

There was air conditioner condensate leaking from the ceiling onto the carpeted floor. Fungus growing on the plywood ceiling. Cons: As a Lifetime Platinum Elite member I was not happy with my stay. 1. I checked in online and it still took 15 minutes to get my key. 2.Upgraded to a suite but when I opened the door to my room on 21st floor, the room was under construction. Went back to reception and got issued a normal room with a promise that I would be upgraded the following day when I got back in the evening after work. I packed my bags as was in informed that my room would be changed while I was working. 3.When I got back, reception had no idea about the proposed room change and my bags were still in my small room. 4. After asking to speak with the manager, I was told that no upgrade was available but they were working on it. 1 hour later, guest services came to my room and moved me to a suite. 4. So with my new keys in hand, I went to meet a colleague at the Club Lounge and my new keys would not allow me access. Again I went to the reception and it took 10 minutes to issue me a key that would access the lounge. Ridiculous. Will never visit again. This property is in trouble and most of it is focused on reception deficiencies. | am truly disgusted.

During our second day of breakfast, the staff even helped us babysit our very active toddler while we enjoyed our breakfast. Cons: However our room was not cleaned even though we placed the sign on the door. We left at 930am, came back at 315pm and room was not cleaned. We then went off to swim and when we came back at about 430pm, a cleaning staff was about to clean the room but we wanted to wash up for dinner. Before we left at around 530pm I told the staff that we are leaving for dinner so he can clean the room. Alas, we came back at 740pm with the room still not cleaned. He knocked on the door at about 750pm asking if we want the room cleaned but that would be inconvenient for us so we told him not to. There could be a lack of efficiency some where here. The bed was big enough for us and our toddler but it was quite hard and the pillow was not comfortable too.

Pros: The room is very spacious. I’ve tried both the deluxe and superior rooms, I can say the superior room is way better. It doesn’t have a balcony, but the room in return become more spacious. It has a traditional village vibe, right in the centre of the city. I especially like the bathroom!
Cons: The room is not fully cleaned. The windows and window panels are full with dirts. The same experience that I had on my two previous occasions there. There are stains on the floor carpet. I heard some tourist complained of strong smoking smell from their room, which happened to us before as well. But thank god not this time

Cons: Our sheets pillows everything smelled bad!! Despite asking the staff to get it changed, we got another set of similarly smelly sheets. The room is tiny and i felt really claustrophic. Also didn’t have a room with a view so it was very unappealing overall.

Cons: The room I had felt cold in its decoration and overlooked a train line which was noisy but infrequent. The shower took forever to heat up and I used it at max temperature and it wasn't that hot. But it was comfortable & clean, so ideal for just a night.

Cons: I asked for seprate beds but i got 2 beds connected to each other, i did not like that. The shower door was leaking water sonit was not good. The break fast was too expensive did jot meet its price. We had to use card to use elevators... Again to open our room's door. For wifi the connection time finished during our stay we had to ask for another user. The balcony (10th floor) was on on the highway, whenever a loud sound bike passes it wakes us up. (Windows dont seal sound)

Pros: I got a free room upgrade from Junior studio to deluxe studio. Staff are so friendly, I liked them. Location is good and close to the suria klcc mall You have to cross two signals to reach to Suria KLCC. Their pool actually I'd like to call it a big Jacuzzi not a swimming pool.
Cons: WIFI is the worst thing there, very slow and you can't use it to download more than 300mb as most probably it will disconnect before you download it. I guess they also should serve water on the breakfast buffet as I didn't find water there and I didn't ask.

Cons: After one night we found cockroaches in our room. They even got more after a couple of hours and seemed like having a Picknick on our carpet. Staff was helpful and made us change our room quickly. Nevertheless its very awkward and we thin you should know before. The new room was very clean in the end and we didn’t had any animals and insects anymore.

Pros: No vegan fare in the hotel.....Only had plain porridge and fruits An understanding of what a vegan diet is, is still quite new to the staff.... A Vegan is different from a Vegetarian. We are on a plant based diet, for health, religious or lifestyle, and hence do not take Animal products, i.e meat, fish, Eggs , Milk and even Honey...... Thank you for giving me an opportunity to voice my opinion here

Cons: My only negative comment was the car park as it was rather tight as the parking lanes and access more for a small car. I still manage to park.

Cons: Was given only 1 card per room the entire stay.. there was no food room service.. ordering food at nite was scary..cos with only 1 card. That mean the room have no electricity when my partner went down to take the food cos u need the card for lift acces. No wardrobe as well for deluxe king room. The reception was very dim.. morelight might brighten the reception.

Cons: My room faced Jalan Ampang so it was quite noisy because of the constant traffic. And I was on the 15th floor! Carpets in the corridor desperately needed to be vacuumed. Specks of dirt & dust were obvious. When I first got to the room, I found a hair on the pillow when I was inspecting my bed linen.
