Pros:Customer service. Manager who spoke English was incredibly helpful and accommodating. All staff was nice but she went over and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable...including making sure a taxi was available, which definitely wasn't always the case. Staff promptly brought anything I needed to the door (e.g. Shaver, shower cap). Staff was friendly and if someone didn't know English, they did their best to find someone who did speak English (or at least understood more than he/she did).

Cons:Taxis were VERY difficult to obtain, even if I reserved one or requested that the front desk have one ready. I waited for 10-15 minutes for a car, which was a huge inconvenience when trying to get to a conference.

Cons:Bed was too firm, but that is normal in Japan. Staff could speak better English; only one attendant was fluent and the others were very difficult to communicate with, although they were all exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
