6.7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Cockroaches everywhere!!!
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nice shower and vanity
Cons: Bed uncomfortable, pillows terrible, refrigerator cycled all night with loud noise, room smelled musty and dirty. Had dog hair on my pants the next day. Do NOT like animals allowed in the room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: For context, I wanted to go to Grand Canyon West tour. Initially, we booked Hualapai Lodge because that's what they recommend. Unfortunately, we realized half way there that it's still gonna take us 2 hours to go to Grand Canyon West from Hualapai Lodge! They didn't even provide any shuttle. So, we decided last minute that we're just gonna find some other accommodation since we were in Kingsman area. Everything met our expectations at Hampston Inn. The room that we got was big too. It was definitely queen size beds as well. I liked how the sink is outside the bathroom. So, bathroom only has toilet and bathtub.
Cons: Couldn't think any. Breakfast could be better, but I guess it's ok since it's not really a fancy place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a suite and the price was really cheap, the room was huge and clean. We loved it. The hotel was really clean and I would definitely go there again. The staff was very polite & helpful.

As long as I go to Kingman or Bullhead this is where I will stay
Cons: maybe a place inside to have lunch or dinner, that would really be great
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast selection was what you would expect. The person responsible for the breakfast room kept it extremely clean and was very friendly. The front desk personnel were also very pleasant. The breakfast room becomes a bistro from 5 till 10 p.m. which serves beer and wine plus simple desserts... a nice way to end the evening.
Cons: The carpeting in the room was extremely old and had no padding underneath it. Housekeeping didn't understand a simple request but that could be overlooked. We had to have our past cards re-keyed every morning as they seem to have been deleted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean accommodations. Very good. Accommodated our request for room location as we were traveling with pets.
7.5 Good
Cons: Breakfast. The fried eggs were cold, hard, and rubbery. The sides were corned beef hash and tater tots. Yuck! The coffee was undrinkable. Other than that it was ok.

Pros: Clean and friendly staff
Cons: Location a bit out of way
7.5 Good
Pros: Great overnight stay. Breakfast adequate. Handy for the highway. Rooms had a usable desk area so those on business might find this a good budget option. The town is on or near route 66 so those travelling that tarmac might find this a more reasonable option than some right beside that famous road.
Cons: At the price, nothing to complain about. Of course they could install a musical fountain show to run every 15 minutes from 8pm to 1am. I don't understand why they don't have that :-).

7.0 Good
Pros: Rooms are very rustic and fit well with the route 66 theme. The owner was very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and surrounding area and let us check in early so that we could get to an event.
Cons: Room was great but plumbing needs some work. Toilet had a hard time flushing and it was hard to get the hot water set when taking a shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quirky and full of history. The owner is totally dedicated to preserving a part of the past. It was fun and funky and safe. Some might find it a little "unpolished", but it was clean and so unlike "every other hotel chain".
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The insightful knowledge of the owner...oh and the free Route66 badge
6.3 Good
Pros: Cute theme rooms
Cons: Needs a complete remodel except for the painting on the outside wall Air conditioners do not work that great in all the rooms. Some work! Parking lot should be redone.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We travel a lot and have been to many motels. El Trovatore, by far, was the top of our list. We really appreciated the owner's helpful suggestions, feedback and historical knowledge of the hotel and the town. we can't wait to return!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic owner gave us loads of information. Beautiful Marilyn Monroe themed room. Great restaurant nearby. Good value for money. Best place we stayed on route 66.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fifth stay here - a high spot of my trip. Genuine motel feel, and interesting fellow guests - although the loud lady 'conversing' outside at 3 am was pushing her luck!
Cons: Nothing. It's not 5 star, but I love it
7.9 Good
Pros: Full of history and nostalgia
Cons: Well it’s older so the shower was dark and small
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My fourth stay at El Trovatore - so obviously I like it! The friendliest stop on my long trip, as always, and one I look forward to - not true of them all. It's a much more personal experience than the corporate hotels, which is worth a lot, and there are always interesting stories and people around the place. Go stay there!
Cons: I would have liked to stay a little longer, but that is the nature of my road trips - have to move along....
7.5 Good
Pros: Old school route 66 motel hotel where you park outside your room. Owner has a wealth of information about Kingman/route 66 and gives you a little history lesson when you check in. Murals on all the outside walls (route 66/ cartoon characters) Clean, comfortable, 10% discount at the local steak house just along the road if you mentioned you were staying there! Outdoor seating outside your room.
Cons: We booked two rooms and in one of them the waste in the shower drained very poorly but it is and old classic motel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room. Staff was very helpful for finding a good place to heat.
Cons: Lack of coffee in the morning.
7.5 Good
Pros: It is such an experience, definitely not a mainstream hotel! The owner was super kind and funny.

7.5 Good
Pros: Price was right. Breakfast hostess very congenial and helpful. Desk person was polite and helpful and knew her job very well.
Cons: Room was old and needed sprucing up soon. Exterior was unique and well maintained. A little too close fo the railroad tracks. During the sleeping hours it did not bother us. It had less traffic at night.
7.5 Good
Pros: Free waffles for breakfast
Cons: Room was not cleaned nor was there bedlinnen present, but after we showed the front desk pictures we got another room. Problem got taken care of just fine.

Pros: The staff was excellent. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was really good. The ground were perfect for what we needed and they were so welcoming to our dog who is like family to us.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The place is unique & staff very nice
Cons: To close to the train track
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I previously stayed here on my way from CA to TX on Aug. 9th. Check-in was a breeze, Harold checked me in and he was very professional and extremely helpful with answering questions about the area, etc. I was staying in one of the newly renovated rooms, which was beautiful. The onsite lounge/restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I had dinner and was able to relax outside in the common area at the gazebo. On my way home to CA from TX, I stayed one night. The gentleman that checked me in (I think his name was Johnny) was very kind and upon arrival, I wasn't feeling well and he made sure my check-in went smoothly and quick. My room was nice and I love the plantation shutters! The beds and pillows are a dream. Even though it's quite close to the freeway it is absolutely quiet and peaceful.
Cons: The breakfast could be a tad bit better. I wish they had oatmeal, scrambled eggs and possibly yogurt. The only fresh fruit that was out were two banana's that were overripe and three apples. Other than that the hostess was very polite and assisted everyone with kindness. I was told that the new owners will be taking away the ROUTE 66 decor!!!! WHAT AND WHY? THIS IS WHY I LOVE THIS PLACE! FULL OF HISTORY AND THE MURALS ARE AWESOME!! If this is true I will NOT stay here as I'll find another place as the MURALS and the CHARM is what draws me back.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Small and not good
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The server in the included restaurant worked with us so we could eat a veggie hamburger.
Cons: Only two towels in the room. No coffee in the room. Trains woke us up throughout the night. WiFi did not connect our computer or phones to Internet in our room, so we had to go to the Lobby and connect there.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fun and friendly place to stay. Murals painted on exterior walls gives you a glimpse into the history of route 66. On site restaurant was very good.
Cons: Needed more outlets for charging.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff, in-house eatery/bar, decor.
Cons: Not sure, it’s not a new property but updated very well. Could use a diet soda option without caffeine. The breakfast waffle was under done.
8.8 Excellent

Cons: bath was not draining water properly. route 66 souvenirs overpriced, do not buy them there
7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast staff personally prepared waffles and brought to the table. Room was clean in the beds reasonably comfortable. some of the bathroom linens look like they've been used to clean someone to motorcycle engine.
Cons: In a later stage of renovation. A bit of construction debris around. Wi-Fi was based on hotspot technology and very poor.

Pros: Great staff, comfortable bed, very clean, great pool area, nice view, bars / restaurants nearby, great breakfast, laundry room. Overall, great value for the price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Older and still mostly clean and comfortable. The staff was great and we got upgraded to a King with no noisy neighbors which after our drive was wonderful. I love that it had history.
Cons: There were a few spots which could have been cleaner and the fridge rubber was worn. Overall nothing horrible about the stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Booked a couple hours before evening arrival. Pleasantly surprised at the roomy, clean, and comfortable room. The staff was cheery and friendly. After leaving expensive camera items in my room when I left, I contacted the property, although it was more than a week since we were there. They confirmed they had the items, and shipped them back to me! Hope to stay again someday
6.3 Good
Pros: Good breakfast. Friendly personel.
Cons: Furniture outdated. It was hulygienic, but did not look so.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was nice as we could sit outside in the little patio area. Plenty seats to sit and have breakfast. We’ve got 2 beds - used only one.
Cons: Room was a bit used, needs a refurb. Night receptionist was a bit rude and not helpful when we had to go back to desk to ask for another room as in ours the handle of the toilet was broken, placing on the top of it so couldn’t use it at all. It seemed to be a problem as he didn’t seem happy to give us another room but finally we’ve got it - without any explanation where to find it as the whole place is a maze it was another challenge at 11 something pm to find the new room. After a very tiring day it was the last thing what we needed but at the morning the lady at the desk said sorry for the inconvenience and said congrats for our honeymoon! Thank you ! It made our day after ;)
5.4 Okay

Pros: Staff was beyond excellent, rooms were great, everything was awesome.
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice new place. Easy room access.
Cons: I called office before 0930 to add a second day. They said ok no problem. Before 1100 I checked my credit card... The room cost for a Tue... Went up $30... With out any notice to me! Not acceptable. I book with booking.com always (for years now). The manager said "we don't rate match". So that was the price.. Same room second day. I said.. I leaving.. You overcharged me. Went to office in 10 min.. Checked out. Got a printed receipt for 0 balance. Left this place who tried to rip me off. Pulled out of their parking lot... Checked booking.com... Got a better room in old town Kingsman for less money. The people at Rose garden even helped me with my bags into room. I am handicapped and walk poorly. Days inn did not care at all. I was just another # to them. Then the overcharge. The manager stated " we don't price match" This in a town full of empty motels!. So... Ok... I left Days inn. Never to stay again. Way to many choices for one to be abused... Attempted Robert it felt like. Never Days inn... Management is foolish! Good luck in your travels.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location to interstate

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was basic but perfect.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The property and accommodations are in poor condition, dirty and the service was poor as well, sent to a dirty room, then the 'clean' room was also dirty, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

1.0 Poor
Cons: This hotel is outdated and filthy.there was a smell we couldnt figure out what it was.we woke up in the morning to flies in our room.bed was uncomfortable and the room itself was so dirty.i would never stay here again.terrible!!!
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly and it's in a good location for us because we were travelling Vegas to Phoenix. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: Our room smelled very bad almost like urine. There were some drunk people wandering around near our car in the car park so just be careful not to leave your belongings in the car, although this isnt the hotels fault. Some stains on the carpet and shower curtain
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: On arrival my card was declined because the property had tried to charge the card multiple times. Check in took over an hour, there was only one person on and it was very busy. The air conditioner in our room was filthy dirty dust balls in vents. The window was dirty dust all over the window sill and the screen was covered in dust but we had to open it because of the smell of the air conditioner. I went to the front desk 4 times but each time there were 3-4 people lined up to check in, so I left it until check out and was told too bad I should have requested a room change. I explained to the receptionist that I had come down three times but it was so busy and it was late and we had been driving all day, her reply was yes we were busy. Not her problem. The noise from the trucks. Dirty bath.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was quiet and very clean.
Cons: Shortage of electrical outlets. Breakfast was inadequate.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: I might be able to answer the question, but after the way I was treated on the phone, there is no way I would ever consider staying at this location.
Cons: I had been in a roll-over accident on 9-10-19. I contacted them on 9-20-19 @ 1:00 pm to inform them that I was having a problem getting a vehicle and that I wouldn't be able to make the reservation that night, but before I could say anything else such as would it be possible to change reservation to 9-21-19, I was rudely informed that I would have to pay the full amount of the reservation . The location did respond to my request for a later check in, but never a response to the 2 requests for a shower stool. I will never stay at this location & will let others know of how I was treated.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location was great and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were pretty clean and had plenty of room. I WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IF THEY WORK ON THEIR BEDS!!
Cons: I was charged double for the room and didnt know until I saw it on my bank account. The staff was very helpful in getting it fixed in a timely manner. One of the beds in the room felt like you were sleeping on BRICKS with springs coming through it.

Pros: Clean, updated. Easy check in/out. The man that works at night is really nice.
Cons: Our bed was lumpy. Not bad, just not the best.

Pros: Front desk clerk was professional and courteous despite not be able to take a dinner break.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Pillows weren’t good
1.0 Poor
Pros: The employees were courteous.
Cons: The room door would not open, the ceiling in the shower had mold and the toilet took 8 flushes to empty it.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: NOTHING!!
Cons: 1st room #412- DISGUSTING, NEVER AGAIN!! Seriously wish I took pics! After a long 4hr drive I arrived ready to relax. Walked in the room and it looked like a jail cell or some kind of druggies room. Beds wrinkled, pillows worn, walls dirty, chair looked like they found it on the side of the road all smashed in. Walked into the bathroom it had old pee on the floor of toilet with built up dirt on it! NOPE, I requested another room cause this was just DISGUSTING. Room 2 #108 Wasn't the best but better than the 1st. I figured well I have no choice this is as good as it gets I guess. The AC didn't work so I requested a maintenance person. They said I can change rooms AGAIN cause it only being 230pm on a Friday there WAS NO MAINTENANCE! Was in the rm a few hrs, still I was feeling uncomfortable. Started reading reviews (which I should have done in the first place) I looked under the bed for bedbugs, didn't find any but did find an old chocolate milkshake top, old fries under both beds, dust bunnies. I finally had it!! Went to the office furious! Requested my money which I couldn't get back! Gave them a piece of my mind. I told them I want a clean room!!! I don't care if it's out of date I WANT A CLEAN ROOM! Room 3 #214- I checked the room before moving all my stuff AGAIN! This room was by far a lot nicer, clean, beds etc.. I hope the owner of this place knows what kind of staff he has working for him! I will be visiting a few times a year and I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO KNIGHTS INN AGAIN!

Cons: Non-working AC
6.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Outdated, no toilet paper, sheets left in the room that housekeeping didnt take with them.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff was professional and prepared to help.
Cons: There was breakfast which is found too often in this category, but if the breakfast would be better then it would differentiate from other hotels in the region. TV and Internet were not working, i was too tired to solve the issue but it is a NO GO!
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was large and the beds we're comfortable. Despite being close to the road and trains you could barely hear them unless the train used its horn. Checking in and out was easy and staff were pleasant
Cons: The washer and dryer had signs to say they were out of order so we couldn't get our clothes washed. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. There was lots of disposable plastic and very little choice. Big hugs of juice would be preferred over small plastic cartons.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Room had a sour odor . Air conditioner was loud.

Pros: Price was good. Bed was comfortable
Cons: carpet was dirty, shower did not work room was 30ft off hwy 93 so heard semis all night Told lady shower didn't work when I checked out she said I COULD USE ANOTHER ROOM THAT WAS KIND OF LATE
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location was not near the railroad tracks.
Cons: Room reservation for 2 people. Only one towel and washcloth in the room. No soad or shampoo. Only one coffee packets. Very outdated.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The frig worked.
Cons: The only bath towel I was given could be rated about 220 grit on the sandpaper scale. I could not compare other towels since there was no linen service or any room cleanup during my 3 day, 2 night stay. The hot and cold water valves in the tub were reversed, but I found that out quickly since the hot/cold had to be constantly adjusted due to the fluctuating hot water temperature. The shower spray head sprayed wildly about the area due to it being plugged up with debris. The only single cup coffee packet provided brewed close to weak tea strength. The TV remote was operative only within about 5 feet of the TV.
6.7 Good
Cons: AC was not working properly.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location close to Laughlin and Vegas. Several times to check out historical wise. Lots of desert scenery and mountains surrounding the motel. A few things down route 66, old town, shops and restaurants, specially the steak house. Plenty of fast food restaurants and freeway I 40 a few blocks away. I'm in Laughlin, but plan on staying at the Economy Inn on my way back.
Cons: Some traffic noise during certain times of the day. It actually snowed, what people were saying, the worst snow storm in quite a while. Parking lot abuts Beale Street so you have to caution leaving.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great experience.
Cons: Room on ground floor
4.6 Okay
Cons: Although the stay cost cheaper than other motels, everything was so old and worn. The only hope, that sheets were washed before our stay...

Pros: Nothing a disgusting dirty uncomfortable dive
Cons: Not clean at all.empty liquor bottles under bed, floor so dirty turned feet black.
