Pros: Rooms are very rustic and fit well with the route 66 theme. The owner was very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and surrounding area and let us check in early so that we could get to an event.
Cons: Room was great but plumbing needs some work. Toilet had a hard time flushing and it was hard to get the hot water set when taking a shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quirky and full of history. The owner is totally dedicated to preserving a part of the past. It was fun and funky and safe. Some might find it a little "unpolished", but it was clean and so unlike "every other hotel chain".

Cons: Yes heater did not work. Owner tried to fix and did it was but was not and portable heater was not brought in. When check out no one in office just drop box for keys. The bathroom is horrible, didn't even want to shower, looks weird and old so does toilet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly owner. He gave me a lot of useful information. Special rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners of this establishment are amazing. The husband knows so much about the area and R66, he’ll give you a full rundown on R66 and Kingman when you check in. Ate at both of his restaurant recommendations and both were great. Rooms take you back in History to what it was like in the 30-50’s travelling the mother road but the comforts you’d expect today. Such a cool little motel.
Cons: Nothing it was amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We travel a lot and have been to many motels. El Trovatore, by far, was the top of our list. We really appreciated the owner's helpful suggestions, feedback and historical knowledge of the hotel and the town. we can't wait to return!
7.0 Good
Pros: Funky, clean and friendly. Comfy beds. Interesting history, murals, neon lights and movie star posters.
Cons: Would have given a 5 star review if the internet worked. We got pretty frustrated trying to get some work done with slow or dropped wifi.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Owner was very friendly and welcoming. He is very knowledgable of the local area and recommended good places to eat. Room was good size and was clean and warm. Free car parking.
Cons: WiFi was really bad and no bath.
6.0 Good
Pros: Loved the concept, the 1930's and Route 66 vibe, the ease of parking in front of room. And, the knowledge of the host on the history and area was stellar.
Cons: The cold water faucet didn't work. Had to put hot water into cups and put in fridge to cool and bring back to sink. There was a board over the tub making the spigot there and the tub itself unusable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome motel to stay in route 66.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owners of the motel are a friendly, interesting, and very thoughtful couple. They have tons of personality and while one of the owners gave us a great history lesson about Kingman and Route 66, the other owner went into the room, turned on the heat and TV for us. Such a great little spot full of history - the rooms have their original, historic bathroom furnishings! It was really cool to stay in a room that was important to US history (hollywood adjacent, in particular!). Location was incredibly convenient and you can't beat the price!
Cons: Room showed a few signs of age, but that is expected for a motel with such history! I'd much rather stay in a place like this, owned by a couple instead of a huge chain motel.

Cons: They charged me for more than two people in the room. It wasn't a good deal for the money. I wish I had stayed elsewhere.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money, good location, rooms basic but clean
Cons: No ketle in a room; they gave us a glass and offered to boil water in a microwave
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Was clean and the beds were comfortable. Also was walking distance to downtown.
Cons: Not that I can think of.
7.0 Good
Pros: Quite and very convenient location when you are in a trip. Everything is simple, but the price is good, so, it's a very fair stay. I would come back. Restaurants and gas stations nearby. We were in a trip and stayed for just one night, we would come back.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and cosy rooms. Helpful personal. Easy to use washing machines. Close location to town center. Good for a stop on the way to the Grand Canyon. Clear recommendation!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Protein (maybe hard boiled eggs) would have been good. Better quality soap would be nice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient position, kind and helpful staff. Nice clean rooms. Very good value for the price.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was fine. Kind of what I typically have for breakfast.
Cons: Maybe have some yogart and/or waffles.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good price per quality
Cons: Ok
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Good location.
Cons: No coffee machine in room. Door lock somewhat questionable.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The people who run this place were very nice and the price was terrific. I have seen others complain that it needs to be updated. I don't know what it "needs" specifically, except that the decor was a little out of date. I will file that in the "Who Cares?" drawer, because the price was much lower than the fully updated hotels. Wifi was included, and it worked fine. The rooms were clean. The shower worked. The TV worked and it was pretty quiet at night.

Motel 6 Kingman -Route 66 West is located minutes from historic old town Kingman and the scenic Hualapai Mountain Recreation Area. We offer micro-fridge units in select rooms and truck parking. Free Wi-Fi. Outdoor pool. Newly renovated modern rooms.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Restaurant right across the parking lot.
Cons: First night had a rowdy family stay next door to our room. Yelling, slamming doors, and crying babies. On top of that, they had a dog that defecated on the sidewalk, and left it there without cleaning it up. Second night had a family of buffalo stay above us. All night sounded like a stampede going across our ceiling. Management nowhere around.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room is big and the motel is easy to access if you are doing the 66 route. The motel is a little far away of the center, but you can go walking easily.
Cons: The area is a little lonely in the night, but it's not dangerous. Maybe breakfast in the morning will be welcome.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The value - we received a refund.
Cons: Mold in the bathtub, extremely dirty carpet, no toilet paper, toilet that ran all night, neighbours that did too...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great value and helpful staff.
Cons: Shower was only chest high.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Just needed a place to sleep for the night. Walked in, very very late. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were in a clean good smelling room within 10minutes. Not a 5 star hotel, but great for what we needed it for.
Cons: It’s Motel 6, it surpassed my expectations.

Overview Reviews
Located in Kingman, Ramblin Rose Motel is within a 5-minute drive of Locomotive Park and Mohave Museum of History and Arts. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, room was big, clean, and comfortable. Great price for value.
Cons: Next to a train so that was a tad noisy every time it passed. Otherwise, it was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything good, friendly check in, clean room. I knew in advance that there is the railroad and a Main Street nearby, so it`s not a reason for a bad feedback, but if you have a light sleep you wont get happy here.
Cons: Unfortunately the bathroom was very cold that I didn’t shower there. If you search, you surely find something. It was just a normal, but clean, motel for one night. Would come again, thank you!
7.0 Good
Pros: We were welcomed at reception a little offish but improved with conversation which resulted in a good experience in a small cafe about 1/2 mile away which also led to enjoying some wine in the wine bar across the street.
Cons: The room is basic, however that is what I expected. We slept comfortably after a long drive and some wine!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable bed, nice woman (owner?) at the front desk
Cons: It's a loud area, near the train. If you're a light sleeper, that will be a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, room’s appearance like new.
7.0 Good
Pros: price was reasonable, staff very nice, it was clean and great location
Cons: we asked not to have adjoining room were told most rooms are adjoining and nobody would be in next room however 1 night of our 3 night stay someone was & had TV blasting the entire night into the AM disturbed our sleep and there were lots of empty rooms
6.0 Good
Pros: Easy access, spacious room, ok for a night stay. The trains did not bother us at all, despite we could hear them.
Cons: The bathroom was full of long dark hair, on the floor, on 2 towels as well. This should not happen. There was half shampoo left there. Made us feel that everything is cheepo, and they just want our money. Also there is an area like a walk in cupboard, but there is no light there. The room's light is not enough to light up the cupboard. Please improve on the cleanliness because that can end you a negative review despite that we had an ok night.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: What I like about Ramblin Rose Motel is it is family owned and the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The facility is old but actually it has a "homey" feel. The location is just a few minutes from our grandson's house. We visit him often. This motel is very close to restaurants, shopping, museums and it is in old town Kingman which is a very picturesque area right on Route 66.
Cons: Really can't think of anything we didn't like. We have been there twice so far and were very satisfied each time.
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff, clean room, bedding, towels and bathroom.
Cons: Shower worked excellently but shower area needs updating, retiling etc.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room. Nice decor. Great location.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, very clean room
Cons: Heat was a bit loud
9.0 Excellent
Pros: There was no breakfast. The owner recommended to me an Indian restaurant and it was delicious! It was right on Beale St. which became I93 to Nevada, very convenient.
Cons: It was all good. Nothing I didn't like.

Pros: Location! Staff was exceptional both housekeeping and the front desk. Very friendly! Coffee was vey good too.
Cons: Your breakfast bar left a great deal to be desired.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was not much. No fruit, yogurt. All in all, it was a good place to stay and we will stay there again.
Cons: The breakfast
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Heating didn’t work. No extra blanket. Bottom of shower filled up with water. Drain was mucked up. Had a bad smell.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and unique!
Cons: My heater didn’t work very well. I was barely warm enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the front counter were very friendly and eager to accommodate our requests. They treated us like old friends and when we had changes to our reservations, Jen was very pleasant and fulfilled our needs. Also, my wife and I got a kick out of the hand-painted murals throughout the property, very whimsical!
Cons: We didn't care for the hard-tiled floors in the room. We understand they are easier to clean (which they weren't) but when you have bad feet it really hurts to walk on them! The shower worked really well but the exhaust fan didn't work (at all). We also didn't care for the "complimentary" breakfast, not much to boast about, the toaster needs to be replaced...although the staff was friendly.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Not much. Location was OK but it's close proximity to the train was loud and kept me awake.
Cons: The breakfast was a joke. All sugar and no protein. The juice was watered down. The bananas were GREEN! Only 1 toaster oven to toast bread and the french toast strips. The heater in the room was old and not readable for knowing what controls to use. My bathroom toilet was loose and wobbled A LOT! I actually was concerned it would fall over. It rocked forward and back like a rocking chair. Very unsafe. No list of TV channels for the TV I had to use the guide which takes forever to go through the channels.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel was great even whimsical with all the Route 66 memorable and extra thought into painting the building themed to Route 66. I would definitely recommend a stay, Add plus the staff is super friendly!
6.7 Good
Cons: A train runs behind the property
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the staff! It was nice to gave a restaurant bar in the hotel. Food was excellent. Room was very roomy. The price was great.
Cons: Rooms are a little dated but clean. Train does go by occasionally. Breakfast was somewhat limited in selections.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Pet friendly, floors where very pet friendly by have vinyl wood look floors.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Carpet is dirty, old stained towels, is 25 degrees inside the room and the bed doesn’t have a blanket, bed sheets are questionable clean.... the only reason I stay is because I got here at 1 am
5.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly Staff
Cons: Pet friendly rooms were not three star as noted in rating. Although room 120 had a good view of the courtyard and pool, carpet was old, musty, stained, furniture nicked and no sundries. Empty containers.

Cons: Towels far from white. Smell in the room.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location, proper breakfast
Cons: It was a bit expensive for one night. The room was clean but the towels which should have been white were so grey I rather didn't use them.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Front desk staff, hot breakfast.
Cons: It's a little dated, but has everything you need. The train tracks that face one wing make for a lot of noise, if that sort of thing bothers you.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Excellent hot breakfast! Friendly breakfast host. Second floor was accessible without steps or elevator because of a raised parking lot. TV worked great. I liked the built-in USB plug-ins in the bed lamps.
Cons: Bathtub drain plug would not stay open, hence standing water after shower that could only drain by holding the plug open by hand. The diverter valve in the shower tub faucet was inoperative, so shower would turn on immediately with being able to adjust the water temp. Towels were old and had a 'dark white' color. Brown streak along the bottom edge of the bathroom door like from frequent hits by a mop.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is unfailingly friendly!
Cons: n/a
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fine. There were several choices both hot and cold. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: I found the bed to be a bit hard and uncomfortable. I have some serious back problems and often have difficulty being comfortable on motel mattresses. Most are too hard for me although a too soft mattress will also cause spasms.Other than that problem I have no further complaints.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: GREAT BIG HOT BREAKFAST Included. Pool closed in winter. Good value. Good location on Historic Route 66
7.0 Good
Pros: Great value for the price!

Pros: The customer service at BW Kings Inn was outstanding! Everyone was super helpful and friendly! Loved the extra care that was apparant everywhere you looked. Great breakfast and staff! Will recommend to any and all heading to the area!
Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like. One thing to mention, room 110, there is a "clicking" sound that may have been coming from the heat unit that was slightly annoying but nothing that would keep us away from staying again.
