This is an old Route 66 motel, with few updates, but clean, interesting, and good location. The price is very reasonable, but do not expect a modern bathroom or amenities of a modern hotel. The owners take pride in preserving this historic and interesting stop. I have stayed there twice and will do so again.
good value, clean, cute decor
This was a stopover point for us on the way to Grand Canyon. It was clean, the air conditioning worked, and we liked the tiny bathroom with the retro tile. Basic, but a very good value!
Turned away by a mean proprietor
Nothing- I wasn't given my reserved room
I arrived around 130am and apologized for being so late due to a car rental mix-up. A man came out and told me he wouldn't give me my reserved room and told me to go next door to the Quality Inn, which I did, and they were very nice and $20 cheaper. I would not recommend El Travatore to anyone.
When visiting Kingman, El Trovatore Motel is a great choice to consider. You'll have free perks like self parking and wired Internet. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
