There are a lot of Indian food. Very delicious.
Very hard to find. I have to read reviews on Google to find where exactly the hotel is at. The hotel is located inside a large building along with other hotels and businesses.
Location is close proximity to the mall, restaurants and the harbor. Checking in early in at 1:30 in the morning was easy. It took me minutes with the help of Rich.
Electrical outlets, tv and phone are not working. At 7:30am I discovered that my cellphone didn't charge, so I went to the reception room. There was female staff that was very impolite. When I asked her about the outlet not being able to charge my phone, she said that it is not her problem if my phone didn't charge and when I asked her about the tv she said that it was very early and to come back at 10:00am. I didn't want to argue with her so I proceeded back to my room but I got locked out in the main door. Not knowing how to use their key, I knocked at the reception room, female staff started yelling at me that I have a key. I was trying to key in my room number on the key pad but the door won't open. She held the key holder on the key pad to open the door and left me by the door. I actually checked in around 1:30am coming from the airport and was scheduled to check out at 11:30am to go sightseeing before I go back to the airport to catch my final flight, and of course I would need my phone to be working, just like anybody would! Around 11:00am a staff knocked on my door to find out what time I was going to check out... Thank God I was still breathing inside the room! It was only then that I got the help from Rich who figured out how which outlet was working. When I asked him about the tv, he replied that there was no channel available. Apparently, there was only one outlet working and it was the outlet for the AC. There's an extension chord for the hairdryer. If you plug the hairdryer to the extension chord you will have a zip line cable in front of your bed. This was not a very awesome experience and a scary one too! Just imagine having no phone working inside the room, no tv working and your cellphone is about to die. The only reason why I booked in this place was because of a better review I read on this guest house and the location. Had I known that there is a Holiday Inn next to it, I would have booked there for a better experience.
Close With Star Avenue and Harbour City
The location of the hotel is really good!
The entrance to the hotel is a market. They sell a lot of things including food, so the smell of curry is everywhere. The building is really dirty, they even had a sign that during the week I stayed they were cleaning to avoid rats. The room was not clean at all and having the bathroom and the shower together was an inconvenient! I would not recommend the place.
