We had breakfast and dinner in the coffee garden restaurant, which was good. Thank you to the coffee garden team. We got every day a separate plate with some cheese. Special thanks to Diana. You are so kind. Thank you to the team of the Horizon Club Lounge, especially Jessica and Charles. They helped us with a pc and internet connection, so that we could rebook our next hotel. It wasn’t possible to do it via Wifi. Also special thanks to the concierge (sorry we don’t know your name). He always helped in any problem about transportation.

Cons: As I was very satisfied with my stay, the only thing I could complain about would be the shower head. There is none, only the installation in the wall and I would have preferred one. But that would be a very minor issue.

Cons: The check-in procedure was frustrating. I had a new passport, and the lack of an Entry stamp caused the staff to be overly confused. As an international hotel, I would expect some staff to be able to speak a little English to help with these situations.

Cons: The hotel deserves a good refurb, keep everything the way it is but just modernize slightly. It’s a pity because it could be a real boutique hotel. Looking down from the fifth floor into the bar and restaurant area you could just imagine people dancing back in the hotels better days.

Cons: Charged 3 separate amounts at different points during our stay, which rang up differently as the exchange rate changed. Key needed to be reprogrammed every day. There was a leak in the ceiling and some flooding in the shower. The hall had a horrible smell. We were on the 8th floor where a staff office is located. The workers yelled and spoke loudly at all hours of the night and into the early morning [11pm- 4am, 6am]. Buy earplugs!

The reception staff kept telling us we didn’t have a booking and spent ages trying to find it on the computer even though they’d already printed it off. The room was dirty. The walls were very thin. The housekeeping staff were noisy outside the door very early in the morning. Other guests also very noisy.

Pros: I have been travelling for many years in China now. Harbin and Shanghai are my most popular cities. The Hilton hotel in Harbin is on a top location just close to one of the best shopping Streets in China. Room was very confortable, breakfast was good and the price was amazing low compared to what you got. The shopping street has many great shops and restaurants to eat. Even a restaurant that opened its doors already in 1907. This family invented both the fried ice as well as the famous sweet and sour pork from Harbin

Cons: Even I ask for non-smoking room, but the room still have the smell. The smell come from the air-con. So I have to turn it off and open window instead.

Cons: First of all, the girl on reception was rude Besides they took 100 dollar deposit and retuned only half of it for nothing. We booked hotel online and payed there also but in the end they took from me double of the price. And it didn’t worth it at all! For this double price hotel should be much better or there should be breakfast included

Cons: Staff could not speak English and found it very hard to communicate we had a room on the 16th Floor but you could still hear the airport shuttle bus drivers shouting also we had a very noisy neighbour who was shouting at 7am. Had trouble arranging to get to the airport early in the morning.

Cons: First of all, the driver couldn't find the entrance of the hotel, which was actually placed in a quite hidden place. That was not my first trip to China, so I had some experience already. The location is good if you need to catch a train, but around that area there are many dodgy people. The reception of the was quite rude and rushy, not like a 4 stars hotel should be. The room was small, old and very dirty with some small bugs on the floor. Some toilet facilities, such as the shower, were old and a damaged. What's more, our room had no water for a damage to the pipes. They fixed after one hour, already late night. The breakfast choice was only choice although it was good enough. Awful experience.
