Pros: The breakfast was delicious. Just the right choice always with some local touches. The staff was always so friendly and all their recommendations for restaurants and daily trips turned out awesome.

Pros: the breakfast of the hotel is undoubtedly special, with a wonderful view to the sea and with typical local produce. not lacking tasty and crispy bread, delicious cappuccinos, olives, cheeses, salami, homemade cakes. the restaurant serves fresh local food. the views from the hotel are stupendous, right no the beach front. the hotel has access to a bus that connects Taormina.

Pros: The breakfast had a wide variety of food which was delicious and filling. A good start to the day.

Pros: The position is great: 20mt from the beach. Everything is very clean. The room was wide, with also a private huge balcony. The price was very very low

Cons: There's no a tipical sicilian breakfast (granita and brioches), but a continental one. But yo be honest, the prices are too low to prentend it.

Pros: Very good breakfast - decent coffee/espresso, fresh fruit, yogurt, meats & cheese, bread rolls, etc. Air conditioning was a savior during our stay in August.

Cons: The location (right across the street from the beach) is great, but be prepared for lots of noise from the disco on the beach - thankfully, we had earplugs!

Pros: + nice, spacious room; bed comfortable, everything was clean; + very good location - only a few steps from beach; + the breakfast was fresh and good: coffee, fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals, pastry. + very friendly host; even though not all of the staff speaks english, we were able to communicate. + air conditioning working properly; We were staying only for one night but I think that this is a good place for a longer stay as well.

Cons: This is not about the hotel itself, especially that post factum we've read that there was a possibility to park the car nearby the hotel for additional fee. It's hard to find parking place around - we parked next to the main road, around 600m from the hotel and we payed in the parkomat. In the morning we found out that our car has been intentionally scratched by someone, it was a big loss because the car was rented. Be careful.

Pros: Good location-few steps from the beach. The best thing is great terrace with sea view from suite on high floor. Spacious appartment with kitchen,one bedroom and big living room with two sofa-beds, with great view. Coincide with description and photos in booking.

Cons: In general everything is good,The main thing that makes stay not comfortable is lack of hot water in shower- you need to wait for 15 minutes after swith on before water becomes hot and after several minutes of shower it again becomes cold and again 10 minutes to wait..this is very uncomfortable. Breakfast very poor.

Pros: Excellent breakfast. Beautiful pool and lovely smaller pool with bar. Lovely grounds and very well looked after. Tasteful interiors. Lovely spa, spa pool and gym area. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Helpful and smiling staff.

Cons: Perhaps more shuttle services to Taormina and a nicer beach.

Pros: The are two very big pools outdoor and pretty good indoor pool in the spa. The breakfast was very good and with a lot of choice.

Cons: It is not a five star service at all. But I guess this the reason cause the price was lower than the other five stars accommodation near taormina. The food served during the dinner was not so good. The chef has a lot of good ideas but the result was quite low regarding the expectations.

Pros: Fantastic hotel very friendly staff and clean and beautiful facilities

Pros: The pools are lovely with towels provided and plenty of sun loungers. The view from the third floor pool to Castelmola is breathtaking. House Martins drink from the pool in the early evening which is wonderful to watch & great fun when you're in the pool - a highlight. The private beach is a short walk away (5-10 mins) or there is a complimentary shuttle bus. It is a raised deck with shades, loungers and towels. Rocky into the sea, but amazing snorkeling in clear water. The free shuttle bus is also available to/from Taormina, booking first thing in the morning is essential. Vast choice at breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the a/c was very efficient, there is a fridge in the room so you can chill your own drinks (the minibar is very expensive) and the patio had nice furniture. Staff were all really friendly and went out of their way to cater to our needs (offer for early morning breakfast boxes) helpful and spoke perfect English; our a/c didn't seem to be working at one point, Reception organised for someone to come and sorted it out immediately. We had a complimentary 10 minute welcome massage too which was delightful. The website doesn't do it justice. There are a number of places to eat within a 10 minute walk and you have to try a cannoli from Franco Casablanca.

Cons: It might be nice not to have music round one of the pools. Prices for food and drink were expensive.

Pros: Very clean and constable facilities. Nice view from the room. The staff in general was very kind and gentle. Shuttle service to town/beach very punctual and handy. Beatutul swimming pool. Nice cocktails in the bar at good price. Breakfast is Ok. You have options in the buffet for every taste. From scramble eggs, to fruits and crosants , cereals and yogurts.

Cons: The reception smelled a little like old furniture. I was hurried by the cleaners to leave the room 20 minutes before the checkout time, even if the hotel was half empty.

Cons: The food and it is outdated

Pros: This must have been a hell of a hotel back 20-30 years ago. It does feel like a 5 start hotel that stopped a bit in time, and had partial renovations, while other parts (e.g. room decoration) give away its age. It's still a nice hotel, but with constant feel of leaping between past and present. The bathroom was super new, contrasting with the old fashioned decoration of the room. Breakfast is mass production, with some hidden gems like the croissant. Pool seems very nice although we had no time to try it. Happy hour (6-8pm) with discounted drinks and free appetizers was a good surprise. Free and ample parking was also very nice to count on.

Cons: It's a place for the masses, and the feel of being in a cruise ship is inevitable. Lounge room with tens of chairs and tables, and a massive dinning room do contribute to that. Room decoration would have been great in the 60s, but everything was very clean, so can't really complain.

Cons: The hotel is indicated as 4 star hotel, but its definatelly not. 3 stars is most I would give it 1. The hotel itself is kind of outdated, but the room itself is kind of ok 2. Conditioner in the room is weird - switching in and off at random and room cooled down only when outside temperature droped 3. There is no water in the fridge (fridge is empty) 4. Room service is not possible 5. Whatever You do - dont take their dinner offer. Your charged 18 EUR for a 4 course meal with some options, but its horrible. There are no alternatives - its either the 4 course meal or nothing (althouth there is other food in menu, the stuff said that only dinner offer is available). You would expect 4 star hotel would have at least decent kitchen, but this was not enjoyable at all. You can see a picture of fish beloe this review. Dinks at the bar were ok. 6. We had a small baby and asked a water boiler in the room to prepare baby food. It was not possible. We had to go downstairs from 4th floor to retaurant to get cup of hot water. 7. Stuff could have been nicer. I cant say they were rude, but at times it looked like they are overworked and cant cope with all the workload, which kind of reflected in communication 8. We wanted to eat dinner outside (the weird 4 course mean, which was all we could get) because it was a nice evening, but got strongly rejected and were forced to eat inside buffet type of premises. Their argumemt was that in case it rained , the stuff would have to take plates both from inside restaurant and terrace and that would be too much work. 9. At checkout another couple were strongly/loudly arguing with hotel stuff because they were overcharged without any notice for a supposedly getting better room than ordered through booking.com In short: if You need a place to spend a night and You dont expect any real comfort than the place is ok (if price satisfies You). Avoid this hotel if You expect 4 star hotel level.

Pros: Own beach, polite and helpful personnel, clean

Pros: Everything was great. My room had a view at the sea, there is a private beach, you can snorkel or swim in the sea a long time. Breakfast is great and has plenty of options, but if you're vegan or vegetarian, you need to ask which food you can take.

Cons: Even though the hotel is great and the place is wonderfully beautiful, it is largely populated by senior people. If you are traveling alone, I would not recommend staying in this hotel for a longer time. On the other hand it's very calm and quiet.

Reception didnot want to give invoice! saying bookings.com received my payment so bookings.com has to provide invoice ..., never heard this before in the forever time I've used booking.com .. , so now I have the extra hassle to get an invoice ..! 2. Pool did not have water! had to use the pool of neighboring hotel. 3. Outside maintenance badly required , neglected appearance. 4. too expensive considering the above negative comments.
