Fantastic location and a very comfortable room with large bathroom Coffee maker kettle and tea bags but no milk,we bought our own for tea.
We were looking forward to staying in the Monastery building but instead were directed to a house across the courtyard which is now part of the accommodation. The breakfast is very expensive. We ate in town for 23euros for two. The heated rail in the bathroom did not work at all. There are no lifts to the bedrooms, my husband has a heart condition.
Comfy and clean, in a great location
Parking your car at location a bit hit and miss as car park small
I enjoyed meeting the manager of the hotel who looked like Lurch from The Adams Family who effortlessly navigated the low doorways. We received the room facing the road with the Bay window, which provided an enjoyable place to retreat to late at night.
My only suggestion is to make the breakfast earlier than the 8am start.
Very helpful friendly staff and great location
Very easy to get into the centre, staff were lovely, chapel is fantastic and the place has a great vibe.
Couldnt park on site, too warm, teenagers screaming all night from the youthhostel next door, decor is a bit institutional - but it retains the monastic character.
