Pros: First, after some confusion (our problem) finding the car park, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself was a wonderful surprise, a bit old world luxury, with lots of dark woods, polished brass, and oriental carpets. Room had all you would expect and more. Great breakfast as well.

Cons: Reservation was for a king-bed, "bay view" room. The first room we were given had a view of the lobby, and was a handicap access room. We asked for a different room, and were given one with all of the windows painted over and no air-conditioning (the room details said it was air-conditioned). It was very hot in the room, and the window would only open about 6 inches. Not what I expect from Radisson...

Cons: My room was not ready when promise. The person at desk explained she could only give me a economy room. After going to room late my wife and I tried taking a nap before dinner, I was over the gym. The staff first response was the gym closes at 10:00. They next room they gave us had stains on carpet and window frosted so yo can’t look out. Lobby was nice but I stay here many times and seemed run down.

Pros: Friendly staff upgraded us to a suite on arrival, it was huge and included a washing machine and full kitchen. Located in the heart of the city, included parking and breakfast buffet. Great city views from the balcony. Easy access to Eyre square (a minutes walk out the front door) and to local restaurants and a grocery store. Free wi-fi.
Cons: Returning back to hotel late one night no one was manning the garage gate and had to send someone into the hotel to get buzzed into the garage (if there was a number code for it, it wasn't provided).

Pros: The hotel was very nice and modern on the inside and we were so pleased to find such accommodating staff. We arrived quite late that night and were very tired from 12 hours of driving. The young lady working check in was so kind and she upgraded us to the bridal suite for free!! It was amazing! High tech, comfortable bed tons of windows for views. We loved it. Such a nice gesture and there was not need for them to do that.

Pros: The hotel was located very close to downtown, with tons of restaurants and bars at our doorstep. Our room (a triple) was huge, with a very nice, large bathroom and even a sort of living room. Everything seemed clean.
Cons: Due to its location downtown, it was rather noisy at night from the bar goers. However, it being close to downtown was a plus, so it was a trade off. Also, since the hotel took over the neighboring building, it was a bit of a trek to get to our room. Breakfast wasn't anything to write home about, but I expect that from a continental breakfast

Cons: There was little to no water pressure in the shower head even though they had expensive rain shower heads. It was a slow drip to take a shower. The room smells musty because it's OLD. We had 3 beds in our room, 2 of which were not cleaned because their covers were dusty - probably from people using the larger king bed and not the 2 smaller twin beds in the room. The mattresses were springy and soft - like sleeping on a trampoline. The hot water pot was full of white and black calcium build up that was never cleaned. The only good thing was the renovated bathroom with white tiles and a new toilet. There wasn't even free parking like my booking suggested. It was $10 for over night parking at a garage nearby.

Cons: Our room had three single beds in it that were crammed into the space you'd normally find a single queen bed. The light above the bathroom sink had come out of the wall and was flickering because of a bad connection. Overall the hotel seemed a bit dirty; just small impressions like the stainless steel elevators being covered in finger prints.

Cons: Restrictive Wi-Fi allowing only one device to be used at a time. I had to go and ask for another password for the 2nd device. Noisy parties in the lobby/bar/restaurant areas (in my opinion, large private parties should be in a separate area from the hotel guests). No chain on the door.

The hotel is in a beautiful stone turn of the century building that has been updated with all modern amenities. The rooms make you feel like you're staying in a palace.

Pros: The ample free parking was great. No car juggling to get in or out, which one often finds in Europe. Very nice view and an easy drive to Barna and Spiddal for good food without the crowds. The room was large and comfortable and the WiFi worked well. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The restaurant was over-priced for the breakfast buffet compared to other places we stayed on this trip. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed by large groups on tour busses, which made for slow service. Basically, the restaurant was understaffed and over-priced. The Coco Café a short walk up the street had an excellent Irish breakfast and good service for about 1/2 of the cost of the hotel.

Pros: Great location, excellent staff. The bar was open late and I enjoyed visiting with the hotel's other guests. And the bartender--who was also working the desk--was a true professional and one of the most memorable people I met in Ireland.

Cons: Service was rude, staff uninterested in helping us, and made us lose $ and time figuring out how to use their "validated" parking in the city center structure. The manager on our last day was very helpful and gave us a partial refund for parking $, but was not able to give us back our lost time to see the countryside and beat crowds to Cliffs of Moher. The only elevator was broken for around 12 hours and we had to walk up 4 stories with no apology, just a "there are the stairs". Roommkeys deactivated on second day and after hiking back down 4 stories the gentleman at the desk responded with "well how many nights are you staying?". What is that supposed to imply? Again no apology. would not recommend this Hotel unless nothing else is available for distance to city center.

Cons: This hotel is over-priced for what is on offer. The rooms are tattty and old-fashioned. And very hot. The breakfast was suitable at E10. For my three days stay there was never a functioning toilet, which I complained about daily, and it was not fixed. I would not return and would not recommend this hotel.

Pros: This was a lovely hotel in a great location. The staff was great & rooms were very clean & comfortable. We loved that you could walk to everything-restaurants & shops in one direction & just over the bridge the Salthill Promenade for a beautiful walk.
Cons: We arrived on the weekend & it's kind of a party town on Fri & Sat. We loved it but when return I think we'll come Sunday thru Thursday.

Pros: The hotel is wonderfully located very close to the center of Galway and all activities. while being a 1-10 min walk from anything you could want, its also quiet. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly.
Cons: The beds were fairly uncomfortable, the amenities are not terrible new, but are current enough to satisfy and certainly high quality in galway.

Pros: The front desk staff were very helpful. We arrived later than we had planned and were concerned about being on time for a scheduled concert. We were checked in quickly and given easy directions for where we needed to be. The next day when we were checking out and inquired how long our parking voucher would be effective, Jan very helpfully suggested we wait to purchase it so that we could explore More of Galway. He stored our luggage for us and gave us great suggestions of where to go and what to see. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Cons: Do Not Disturb sign and. Make Up Room sign practically identical. If one grabs Do Not Disturb sign at night one can easily grab wrong sign (as I did) and be awakened early by the maid thinking I wanted my room cleaned. Very aggravating!!

Pros: When we checked in we did not get the room we had requested. The check in agent was not willing to change our room. We had to get the manager to help us. He made the changes that were needed and we were very satisfied. After that the manager checked with us each day to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. At the end of our 3 day stay the manager even got our car out of the garage.
Cons: The garage that the hotel uses is just awful. very tight corners, and hard for out of town guests to maneuver. They should find another garage to use.
