Cons: Hotel rooms are spacious but bath and shower are combined. Sink is outside of the bathroom. Internal design in a twin room was certainly different. Taxi rung by hotel did not display fare. Verbally asked for $US20. This was a huge tip included in a 4am taxi ride. Hotel airconditioning was not very effective and a little loud.

It was in a prime location and walking distance to many retail and, coffee shops, restaurants and bars. We were leaving for a cruise and the port everglades area is just a mile away. For the price it was an excellent place and the staff was friendly, but were a little strict about people smoking by their vehicles on the street. They also had a closed off courtyard/patio around back that had chairs, picnic tables and flowers to relax and enjoy the sunny weather. Definitely recommend.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay! Upon arrival they were offering delicious sampling of two different ravioli dishes which were fantastic. We ordered from the hotel restaurant both nights we were there. First night from room service, second night from the bar. We were very satisfied with the food and service. My husband and I both slept like babies during our stay. We also enjoyed sipping cocktails in the pool area and relaxing in the hot tub. It was a bit packed so they weren't able to wait on us by the pool and refill our drinks without us having to go inside and get another. However once the crowd died down they were very happy to do so and did a great job.

Cons: The breakfast was the worst breakfast that I had in my life. When you order the breakfast is very good, but the buffet is terrible. They gave me some vouchers when I complained about the breakfast buffet, but I felt disappointed with all structure. The bedroom, the bathroom are old. It was not like I imagine.

Cons: Right from the start the hotel shuttle was over an hour picking us up. Then we had to pay $9 per person cash to the shuttle driver, I've never heard of this at any Hilton Property. The drive was constantly on the cell phone while driving. The property is pretty worn out and needs renovation. We had an early flight out in the morning and asked if we needed to make special arrangements and were told no problem. In the morning we came down to get the shuttle and were told that the driver would not be in for another half hour. The did call us a cab and it arrived quickly and actually cost less than the $18 we paid the shuttle driver the night before.
They don't have the normal Hilton breakfast buffet only breakfast cooked to order. We didn't factor in time for a breakfast cooked to order and there was no grab-n-go so no breakfast.
I said I'd never stay there again and we had a reservation to stay again on a stop-over for our return trip. By the time I cancelled it was too late so we paid for a room that we never used.
This hotel is hooked with the cruise lines and they cater only to them. don't even think about staying here.

Pros: I attended a conference that was held at this hotel. It was close to the airport and they provide transportation for $9. My room was large and had a small balcony. A free breakfast was provided. The pool was pleasant and it was surprisingly quiet, despite being very near a busy road.
Cons: While the hotel is close to the airport, it’s not close to much else. The neighborhood is not very walkable, and I really did try! The hotel was a tad noisy and the walls are thin. The free breakfast provided was bountiful, but low quality, ie, no whole grain breads, no dairy-free alternatives. I could just barely see the ocean over a view of the large AC unit, a shopping plaza, and giant gas tanks.

Cons: We have stayed here three or four times over the last 10 years and it is starting to show its age. They have started renovations but the price doesn't reflect it. Speaking of which I had reserved a number of rooms for friends and family of which they would settle on departure, although mine was correct other were overcharged and I am in the process of collecting the invoices and seeking to settle this. We didn't all get together at the time of check out otherwise we would of hopefully settled it there.
