7.1 Good
Pros: The location was good and Sunday brunch was really good. The restaurant staff was awesome and extremely accommodating.
Cons: The room was a little dated. The room could use fresh paint and new carpet. The bed was lopsided and a little hard.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious suite Clean Beautiful view Great refrigerator and coffee maker Great restaurant Quiet
Cons: Mattresses aren’t very good Pillows are hard
4.6 Okay
Pros: The view is nice.
Cons: I didn’t like staff front desk does not provide you with full information. I had to keep asking questions and I’ll feel I wouldn’t get good answers. As well I would of think it had some kind of benefits for staying over. I though it was overpriced and nothing good off, of it. Definitely not coming back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good value for the money you pay with all the amenities it has.
Cons: The bar could be cozier and better decorated, too plane.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The hotel itself is nice. A little dated but clean and with character. The parking seemed very safe. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect this time of the year. room was large
Cons: Ice machines were all off and when I ordered some from room service it never showed up. My overall experience is that it wasn't worth the price tag.
7.4 Good
Cons: The indoor pool and spa were not open
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The marina and bay view. The morning breakfast. Courteous, friendly, and helpful staff. Close to the wine country.
Cons: I can't really complain, but I would have liked to have been able to dance. That would have made it perfect.
7.1 Good
Pros: Bed was good. Good personal. Good location.
Cons: Look a bite all. For the price.
5.7 Okay
Pros: I liked the lobby the restrooms the restaurant the pools the gym and in general the room Prices were moderately fair.
Cons: August 9 ,2017. First, the playground is broken dilapidated and somewhat dangerous. The teeter todder is made of wood that is not finished or Glazed- it caused my wife to get a splinter on her butt. At the end of the tallest twist slide there was damage to the plastic tunnel that could lead to a cut. The end of the slide was also too high from the sand floor - could cause injury. The restaurant food was great. But the leather chairs were ripped and faded. There was also visible signs of wear and breakage on the tiles that outline the bottom of waiter stations in the middle of the dining area. While at the bar, I noticed the stools were too high for the bar - in all fairness- the bartender said the new chairs -with the appropriate height for the bar-were on order. In our room, 610, the 1/2 restroom door opened inward. Therefore it was hard to close the door while inside the restroom. CAUTION: I hit my toe twice on the door stopper located in front of the toilet. Use caution if using the toilet in the middle of the night. I called the front desk for luggage service at checkout time. Bellboy never showed up!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large balcony faces ocean & marina. Staff very helpful & pleasant. Parking was included which was great.
Cons: Sign for hotel is kind of hidden by palm tree so the first time it was a little hard to find. Suggest better sign & better address for GPS

10.0 Excellent
Pros: cleanliness kindness
Cons: washer and dryer
6.7 Good
Pros: - Good location (not too far from the main drag), but still in a quiet area. - Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The two main guys that work there couldn't be nicer. - Small but inviting common areas to hang out.
Cons: - Very cramped and small overall, especially the dorm rooms. When they're mostly full, it feels like you're a sardine in a can. - Beds are creaky metal frame bunk beds, not sturdy wood ones. - Not dirty, but could be cleaner. - Only one toilet and shower in the building. There are two more of each in a structure next to the courtyard. - "Breakfast" is plain toast. If you request it. - The kitchen is TINY. And there were people staying there long term that basically monopolized the refrigerator and using the kitchen during meal times. - Very limited locker space. Two lockers in a room with 6 beds, for instance. There are some lockers in the hallway but they are too small for anything but a daybag or a few belongings.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff and a good property. Full kitchen with fridge. Clean water is provided. Free WiFi.
Cons: Would be nice if there were more restrooms. A little farther from downtown than I expected, but still a good location.

Cons: Not really nothing I had a very good experience

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
4.2 Okay
Pros: The View is amazing.
Cons: The front desk clerk, Angelica, has zero customer service skills. Extremely rude! My family and I have been staying with this hotel for over 35 years, and she has to be the worst front desk clerk we have ever encountered.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the views of each room. Rooms clean and staff is nice and helpful.
Cons: Need a coffee maker in the room. A fridge would be nice too.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Beautiful 180 degree view of the ocean. Having a heated outdoor jacuzzi was nice. Restaurant staff were great as were the meals we had there.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Amazing view and very nice staff.
Cons: I booked a king room, ended up with a double bed. The pool was very dirty. The room was infested with ants and the jacuzzi in the room wasn’t working. I wouldn’t stay there again.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Front desk clerk, Angelica is extremely rude, and should not be working the front desk.
Cons: Front desk clerk. Toilet was broken had to switch rooms.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: We've been coming to Las Rosas since 1996, but we recently took a 7 year break because of the unrest in Mexico. We didn't know what to expect after 7 years, but everything was the same--the pool, outdoor jacuzzi, bar, dining area, guest rooms, and the best view of the ocean anywhere from every room! It was just what we hoped for. The place is a little more worn (only minor character flaws in my opinion), but the carpets and furniture in our rooms were new and everything was clean. This is not a super luxurious hotel, so don't expect all the bells and whistles, but it is gorgeous, the staff is wonderful, and did I mention the views--incredible! We still love this place!
6.7 Good
Pros: The location right in front of the ocean is beautiful
Cons: Nice building,nice design
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the hotel is amazing and the staff is wonderfully nice and thoughtful. The rooms are beautiful and clean with good smelling amenities like soaps and shampoos. The food in the restaurant is really good and beautifully served. I even loved the relaxing jazz music in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend to stay in Las Rosas!

1.0 Poor
Pros: Location
Cons: Room poor
7.1 Good
Pros: I like that everyone at the front desk/bellman made eye contact with me and my wife. I did request at the front desk for extra towles. As soon as we arrived to our room on the fourth floor. Housekeeping staff was at the door with towles and a smile. The two young ladies at spa were fantastic
Cons: I didn't like the robes that we were given at the spa. They are worn out at the sleeves the neck area. Missing robe belt. The gentlemen that brought my lunch at the pool, didn't look happy nor explained that my hamburger was going to be served in a To-go Box. Would of personal liked it on a plate
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Front Desk was especially friendly and helpful.  who manages went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and fill me in on the wine-connection with Corona's Valle de Guadalupe winery. Restaurant.....superb! Chef- 1st rate!!

Hotel Cortez - Ensenada - Building

8.7 Excellent (1,641 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hotel Cortez places you in the heart of Ensenada, within a 5-minute walk of Ensanada History Museum and Riviera Cultural Center. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was really clean, you can smell the chlorine while the rooms and the hotel are being cleaned. The staff is friendly and the hotel is walking distance from most touristic attractions. However, if if you want to avoid large crowds and loud tourists, do yourself a favor and pay the extra $$$ to stay at Coral or Lucerna. It doesn’t matter how clean and how amazing the staff is if you can hear every single thing other guests do from throwing up and crying to having an argument.
Cons: The walls in the hotel are paper thin! I mean it! So when people are talking it feels like they’re in your room and you can really hear other guests businesses. In our case, we were soundly asleep until a couple showed up very intoxicated to the room next to ours slamming their door and just speaking really loudly. We were able to hear the girl throw up, cry, and then argue with the guy right from our room. We turned the TV on to try to disguise the sound a little bit but it still didn’t help. Also, you can hear the people talking on the hallways!!
3.4 Mediocre
Cons: THE HOTEL WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND I WAS NOT TOLD THIS WHEN BOOKING THE ROOM, VERY NOISEY, THE BUILDING HAD NO NAME ON IT AND IT TOOK US OVER AN HOUR TO LOCATE WE ARE NOT FAMILAR WITH THIS CITY/COUNTRY. HORRIIBLE WIFI. WHILE CHANGING THE CLEANING PERSON OPEN THE DOOR THAT WAS SO BAD.

Cons: The beds are not very comfortable.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location, staff (the parking lot attendant).
Cons: It’s a motel-style hotel, so you hear everyone passing by your room on the outside, which was very noisy. Room had a very weird back door into a service niche behind the room, which you couldn’t lock. The bathroom was clean but somewhat date

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location on the beach just outside the city hustle and bustle
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location. Helpful staff. Clean. Great location on the water, near the marina. This was our second visit in 6 weeks, and the first time we had left a coffee pot on the stove, and they still had it! One of the reception staff has the most incredible singing voice and I think/hope he will be famous one day. Check out the big fancy hotel next door (Torre Lucerna) for sushi, drinks and pool, El Ramen for wonderful noodles (before 8pm though) and La Flor de Calabaza which is an amazing breakfast cafe. And also, a little further away to the north, you must visit the *very* special El Escama Gastro Cafe at the western end of route 3 (west side of the main road). You will be so happy you went!
Cons: Kitchen needed some refurbishment. Needs a kettle. Hot tub was luke warm :-(

8.5 Excellent

Hot water in the shower, clean rooms, comfortable beds on the hard side (personal preference) and a lovely courtyard. Rooms are well priced.
Cons: Walls are paper thin. Food and coffee on site are overpriced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall experience.
Cons: Staff erroneously ordered an extra rivets n the bill was 160 usd for 2 adults and an 8 years old boy. 10 dollars for tequila shot was too much.

7.1 Good
Pros: The location was good and Sunday brunch was really good.

Pros: Great Location!!!, Rooms were clean, smelled nice, and nicely decorated. Beds and pillows were comfortable and we were able to rest. Parking is a little tight but the staff and security guard were very nice and friendly and they always found us a nice parking spot inside or outside the hotel.
Cons: No toilet holder for the nicely designed bathroom, the water in the shower would not drain fast enough and the soap scum would stay so we needed to flush it with water, and lastly the room did not have a security vault to store valuables.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Friendly staff. Pool looked nice, but it was too cold out.
Cons: Parking was very limited on the property. They do have a separate lot down the street, and it seemed safe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and grounds were exceptional, all the staff were friendly and helpful with info I needed. Area around has everything you can want as far as shopping and eating. The coffee shop attached to the hotel had good food and coffee, and a nice ambiance.
Cons: The weather was a bit chilly in February for the pool
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel & staff were very nice & room was clean. I'm dissatisfied w/booking.com however. We booked a room online w/your app for 2 king size beds but when we arrived at 1 am after a long day of travel for a funeral, the hotel told us there are NO rooms w/two king beds! This is not the hotels fault. Its false advertising on booking.com's end!! This was the 1st time I used your service! I will never use it again!!
Cons: The room reserved did not have 2 king beds as reserved online & we were told these rooms do not exist! After a long day of travel & arriving in the middle of the night, you want to know things will be as reserved! It was a pleasant stay; however, if I was to book again I would deal with the hotel directly. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker, fridge & microwave in the room. There are a lot of restaurants nearby though & the hotel did provide vouchers for free coffee.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Clean, comfortable, good location , peacefully
Cons: No body tell us the water heater fail in the morning and we had to take a cold water shower. I hope next time don't have this fail.

Cons: The room was filthy, i looked in back of my bed and it looked like it hadnt been cleaned for YEARS!. Every corner or parts of the walls, the paint was peeling off. Cracks and parts of the wall missing. The ceiling of the the bath tub is wood and looked like it was fixed 15 times and its ready to fall off. VERY badly taken care of. Its sad because the views and locations are perfect.
