Location was great. Easy walk from train station. We could leave our bags in a safe place before check in. Staff was polite. Family room was great and clean. Breakfast was delicious.
We were allocated the room I had requested. Huge bedroom, comfy big bed, old world charm, overall high standard, period property, excellent location. Great value for money.
Not huge issue...bathroom was clean and adequate but personally felt it could be updated to equal higher standard of bedroom.
The room was clean and comfortable and, importantly for me, quiet. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the hotel is ideally placed for the office. I like the ambience and always look to book here.
Everything was exactly to my liking.
Staff were really helpful, good location and interesting history to building .
it is looking tired in places and could do with some investment to bring up to standard but that said it did not make for a poor experience.
Very comfortable furnishings, service and food excellent, no request was too much for the staff.
A little bit confusing with so many floors and the entrance is a little difficult to find for those who, like ourselves, have not stayed there previously
