Great location. Ample breakfast though pricey if not included in room.
Do not have wash cloths. Knob on shower was missing making controlling temp. & water difficult. Reported issue to desk but it was never fixed. No AC but fan was in room. Could be an issue if there's a heat wave. We were comfortable.
Old world charm and history, large comfy room.
I confess to being a member of the club. I served in the Gordon Highlanders, a Regiment that like the Royal SCOTS was merged after 200 years of existence. Being here was a truly wonderful trip down memory lane which reminded me of my days in the Army.
Great hotel. Liked the location, room was well appointed, bath a good size and the staff very friendly. Close to restaurants, retail and about a 15 min walk to old town.
The shower was a bit challenging to figure out the hot and cold.
