Pros: Location very good for exploring Burgos. Really charming staff, comfortable and well-equipped modern hotel. Parking is in the nearby Museo Evolucion, but you can park outside for long enough to drop off/pick up luggage. Bonus - a cafe/bar in the hotel, great for a much-needed beer after a long trip. Burgos itself is fabulous, great tapas bars and restaurants, hotel supplied details of where to eat and drink. We loved Victoria near the cathedral, and Meson Los Herreros for delicious fish tapas.

The parking is a bit challenging being quite narrow, but manageable.

They are decorated with colourful original art. The Acuarela is set in the commercial heart of Burgos. It is a short walk away from the city's historic sites, including the beautiful Cathedral. The hotel is also well located for road access, including the major E80 motorway. Burgos Airport is just 6km away.

Pros: We have recently adopted a cat and I've never had to look for a pet friendly hotel until now. Hotel Maria Luisa was so welcoming and for only €10 per night for our little Coco, we had a happy stay! The room was spotless and bed very comfortable and wifi excellent too! We didn't stay for the breakfast but the breakfast area was beautiful and smelled super!! Location was fantastic, we got to see the heart of Burgos and were very impressed! Pros: Great location, lots of cafes near by and easy access to a bus that goes directly to the train station. Walking distance to the old city center and all the tapas bars. The hotel is very chic and, though a bit old, it is very well maintained and clean. The rooms are relatively big, and breakfast selection was excellent. The photos on here doesn't do it justice.

Pros: Parking is easy to access near the hotel. You can park right outside the hotel to check in and drop off luggage before parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room which we had was pleasant and plenty big enough for the two of us. Loads of very hot water for bath/shower. We didn't make use of the dining room for breakfast but the little cafeteria on ground floor served excellent coffee. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk to the bars and restaurants which are well worth a visit.
Cons: The hotel is right next to a busy city road and a front facing room overlooking can be quite noisy up until 8 or 9 PM.

Pros: Hotel Maria Luisa has an old fashioned charm with modern efficiency. The breakfast room is beautifully laid out and the breakfast spread was plentiful. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the old town. Onsite parking was a bonus and at a reasonable rate. Staff were very helpful and accommodating of special needs.
Cons: On a minor note, the beds are roomy but just a little hard. The pillow also was quite hard.

Pros: This is a great hotel in a fantastic location on h corner odor of Burgos' famous tapas streets. My room had French doors to a Juliet balcony and was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful and it is excellent value for money! Lovely, modern bathroom with plenty of hot water.

Pros: The rooms are old style wood, but clean and large. Walk to town was a beautiful park-like 2 km. Price was fair. Lots of free parking. Not about the hotel, but the human evolution museum in town was fantastic.

Cons: This is one of the most bizarre hotels I've ever stayed in. This is not a 24 hour hotel and the owners/staff lock the doors at 10pm and so you have to make sure your back in time. Also leaving early, b4 10am has to be arranged with the staff. Language issues are a problem too, only two of the staff speak English and they are not always available. The single room I stayed in was very basic and the bed was uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin, so if you have noisy neighbours, as i did, you might struggle with sleep, as I did.

Cons: Bad information at check in. F.e. the sauna would-be be open till 22:00 h. When we arrived at 20:00 h it was not heated. You had to heat it yourself, there was No time left for us. The room with a view had a small 1 meter wilde room. The view was a tree. The price of this room was much higher than a room without view. Very dark room because of the small window and lack of lights.

Pros: My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in September, 2019. Our room was facing to the tree-lined street by the river. Very good location - only 4 min. of walk to the Old Town. Excellent breakfast buffet. Comfortable twin beds. Good WiFi. We would come back to this hotel.

Pros: Think Radison or Hilton (on their good basic offer level) and that is what this large hotel attempts to present you with. Slick tiles, mirrors, shiny surfaces, swish lighting and bath robes are all very impressionable. If you catch one of their "deal" rates it is a very good hotel to book. Convenient for walking into the ancient centre. Plentiful garage parking, if you are happy with the weird way it works! Very comfortable, good-sized rooms. Pleasant indoor pool. Good redevelopment of a formidable building.
Cons: Put off, somewhat, to arrive and to be told that our room wasn't ready because the hotel had been busy the day before!! What on earth is that all about for a hotel attempting to be a prestigious venue? Told at reception that we didn't need to book a table for dinner and then to be virtually told off when arriving some hours later in the restaurant (which was in darkness and late to open) for not pre-booking a table !! Large garage parking but not physically connected to the hotel so bags, etc. have to off-loaded and then carried up exposed steps to the entrance lobby. (Nb. Very little alternative parking in this busy area of the city.) Critical because the hotel is trying to position in a top league but is let down by avoidable management errors and/or oversights which irritate.

Pros: The room was on 2 floors which was nice. There were 2 bathroom but the drainage was a bit of an issue. The water was hot and pressure was good. Bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. There was a fridge available well. Was on the Camino route which was a plus.

Pros: Excellent location right in the centre of the old city and only 5-10 minutes walk from the cathedral and river promenade. It's a little tricky to find as you have to drive through the pedestrian area to reach it and the instructions received took us to an exit rather than an entrance, but a local pointed us in the right direction. It has an underground garage, which is very secure, but a bit "tight" if you have a larger car. The breakfast was very good, but like most European hotels the hot dishes were limited. I suspect the Restaurant would be very good, but we were there on a Sunday night and it's not open Sunday evenings. However, there's a multitude of Tapas bars and restaurants within a few metres of the hotel. the "executive" room was more like a suite than a room.
Cons: It was a bit noisy at night. The Spanish eat late and so it doesn't quieten down until fairly late at night.
