We asked to be in the same floor as our friends and after a small hiccup this was arranged.
Bigger area for breakfast as there was a bit of a wait for a table. Comfortable to waiting place though .
Absolutely loved this hotel. From the design to the history of the building to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff to the location to the spa... I could go on and on. Loved!
Very comfortable for two Canadians
Great location and very friendly staff. Really like all Scottish people that we met! Hotel is in a great location to all things that are fun and interesting in Edinburgh! The rooms were very well decorated and had every thing we needed for our extended stay.
Hotel and staff were excellent and perfect location, will stay there again.
Great place to stay in New Town Edinburgh
The staff was very friendly and the architecture and location perfect for those visiting Edinburgh for the first time. Loved the beautiful spiral staircase! Very nice hotel.
Price on Kayak and Priceline for this hotel on this given night was good.
If hotel staff know customer has booked with a booking company other than making reservations directly with hotel, the customer care and service beginning with room selection at check-in and savings on dining and other amenities are sub-standard to that if you book directly with the hotel.
The location was perfect, the staff very helpful and the rooms were good size and perfectly clean.... I would definately stay at this hotel again
Temperature in bar very cold, barkeeper not very friendly (I have no time to make tea)
location and staff
air conditioning-room was too hot at night.
comfort and proximity to the highlights of the city Had stayed there on previous occasions
Relaxing time spent with a friend. Enjoyed Indian head massage although would have preferred it without a top on rather than my arms and shoulders being massaged over my clothes!
The breakfast on Saturday was cold...the sausages & bacon were undercooked!
Staff were very helpful.
Rooms too hot but they did bring a fan on request which helped a little.
the friendliness and helpfulness of staff and the proximity of hotel to shops and bus stops
I felt that the hallways on the way to the rooms were a bit shabby looking
Site, staff, facilities and room
Booked valentine dinner online, yet when we went down for dinner 1 hour before dinner was supposed to be finished we were told that we were not allowed in. The guy in the resturant was very unhelpful talking over everything I said to him.
Overlooking one of Edinburgh’s prettiest private garden squares, Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel consists of seven interconnected Georgian townhouses in the heart of the New Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inside, the newly renovated interior blends handsome woods, plush fabrics, and rich pops of color to luxurious effect. A magnetic inner courtyard and an acclaimed Middle Eastern restaurant have cemented the hotel as buzzy hub of modern life in Edinburgh.
