Location, close to the city bus tour and Princess, George, Rose street, the staff, -20% to eat at kyloe restaurant
no window open in the room for fresh air, the carpet on the stairs
When we arrived we had been upgraded to an apartment which was fabulous
There was only thing that we didn’t like were the pillows and the mattress on our bed it wasn’t that comfortable
Room was more spacious than expected but very clean and well provisioned both for tea/coffee and toiletires. Room temp control easy to use. We live near Edinburgh but occasionally stay in town for dinner etc so location was very good for our needs as close to the required transport links and Princes Street.
Only minor issue was that bath was difficult to get in and out of - wife is 5" 3' & pregnant so quite a high stepover without steps or a handrail for balance and holding onto a moving shower screen not ideal.
Location was excellent, food and staff also excellent
Front desk staff are friendly. House keeping of very high standard
Restaurant staff are arrogant. Food good and value for money but spoilt by attitude
