TV didn’t have the channel we wanted. Restaurant menu is very limited specially if one doesn’t eat beef.
The staff were uniformally polite, welcoming and informed. The breakfast was varied, tempting and delicious. Rooms were quirky, yet very comfortable.
Some street noise at night (perhaps to be expected in a city-centre location)
We stayed three nights in the superior suite. Good location and facilities. We had breakfast one morning and it was okay but ventured out for most of our meals.
You get what you pay for and that’s fine but you spend a lot and it doesn’t particularly feel special and homely in the hotel.
Awesome place can’t wait to return.
The hotel was literally perfect! We only stayed 2 days. I would have loved to stay longer. We stayed at the Hotel du Vin Edinburgh for our last 2 days of our Scotland vacation. It was a luxurious way to finish our trip. The rooms were extremely comfortable with heavenly beds. The restaurant was amazing and the staff beyond helpful. I had breakfast in bed one morning and it was such a treat!! I highly recommend this hotel and I wish I could go back soon.
