Staff were very friendly and welcoming
Hotel was overal was dirty and unkept
It's a bed for a couple of nights
Quality of the room for the price Rudeness and disinterested receptionist on checking out. Gave me another guests bill and accused me of giving wrong name. Loved Edinburgh but won't stay here again
An excellent location.
Room was shabby and smelled of stale cigarette smoke.
Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful
Decor and furnishings were very tired
I thought that the staff were excellent. Went out of their way to please.
Disappointed with the club wing rooms. Pictures online led me to believe that the rooms were in better condition. Also, the room was much smaller than expected.
Good location: next to Haymarket station and bus (also Airlink) stops around the corner. Good advance purchase rate.
Being Club Wing, my single room was tiny and definitely not normal Hilton standard. Rate for using the hotel´s pc with Internet connection was ridiculous: 3 gbp/15 mins (5 gbp/30 mins).
Spacious and comfortable
Room was very warm. No air conditoning or ability to allow much air in.
The lobby was attractive, the staff was polite and also very helpful; we ate once in the restaurant and our dinner was very good as well as the service. There was a very nice Italian restaurant around the corner.
I believe that because this is a Hilton, we didn't expect it to be in a location that is just a little seedy, and a bathtub with mold around the edges. The room's furnishings were like a motel at an airport. The charge for internet usage was the highest of any place we stayed in England or Scotland.
Staff very helpful and friendly, room small but clean
Room on the small side, further out of Edinburgh City Centre than we thought when booking, bar in hotel expensive.
Nice quiet room, helpful staff
Dreadful uncomfortable bed. Much too small for 2 people and very highly sprung so the slightest movement disturbed the other person. Breakfast should be included
Good service, quality hotel
Condition of the tiles in bathroom very poor (body fats in the grout)
Modern and clean room, good location opposite the station.
Check-in was messy as it wasn't on their main system. They made up for this by offering a complimentary breakfast. Expensive Wifi in the room (â£15).
