We stayed here after hiking the Seven Sisters and it was a great way to round off the weekend. We got a room with a sea view, which was lovely, and the breakfast was better than we'd expected with lots of choice. We appreciated the Fawlty-Towers vibe as well :)
In need of refurbishment, but that didn't bother us and we liked the old-school-ness of the place.

The hotel is on the promenade near the pier. An excellent location. Breakfast was plentiful.
The hotel was starting to look a little tired. Could do with a lick of paint.

Due to the others rooms being mostly empty, we were offered an upgraded room as the original one was dingy and not twin as we'd asked for
There is a general air of shabbiness, I had to wait a day for a hairdryer that should have been included in the room anyway
