Breakfasts were good. Staff at breakfast friendly
Location was noisy. No Temperature control in room. Area of town where it is located is dodgy. Room was small.
This owner is trying to get away with something! This is absolutely not a B&B or a "lodge" as it is otherwise classified online, but a hostel. The property is buzz-in and buzz-out, so we found ourselves locked in / locked out when the 24x7 front desk attendant was otherwise occupied (never for long, but seriously?). There is also a mandatory policy of leaving your keys at the front desk when you leave (which they can easily enforce before they buzz you out). If I'd wanted to stay at a hostel, I would have chosen one of the places with hostel in the name. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere with a little integrity.
Close to citycenter, 24/7 access, price seemed to be ok. I would call it a backpacker hotel with this level of comfort/quality not really a B&B.
Noise isolation between rooms is bad, you can hear your neighbors and people passing in the corridors, Bathroom was not so long ago renovated and daily cleaning was good. However low cost equipment was used and 'usage' already started to show (knobs of thermostat no longer fit, towel rail bend, shower bit smelly, top layer of furniture getting loose, etc.)
Staff was friendly and the santitary facilities were clean. The room was quiet because the room was facing the backyard.
The room has no atmosphere at all, one bulb was not in the lamp. The carpet is very old. The room was overheated during the first night because there was no ventil to turn it off.
