10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing. Garden is amazing Little maze was amazing Stone pool was amazing
Cons: Lunch and Dinner options are very limited. Should add more variations like Thai food. People don't need to have western style imported to every 5 star hotel they visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff here was amazing. Pau Pau was so gracious, friendly and accommodating. We would come back to the resort just to see her. Our stay was fabulous! Relaxing atmosphere with attention to detail at every turn. Everything was perfect. This was definitely the highlight of our Thailand trip!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, comfortable beds and fantastic service. The decor is beautiful, like stepping back in time! This was my second trip to the Reverie and I am already hoping for a third. Thank you to all who made our stay so wonderful.
Cons: Nothing negative to say
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great about this hotel! The stuff was super nice and helpful, the place is beautiful and breakfast was delight! We had a room on the 2end floor with a view to the swimming pool no. 209 and we loved it! It is 5 min from the center but they have a shuttle every half and hour to take you there and pick you up back to the hotel.
Cons: Nothing was bad about this place!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really friendly, and offered great day tours.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully decorated & maintained, friendly staff and easy access to the center of town.
Cons: Needs and electronics upgrade, TV was not the best you have to rent a DVD player & DVDs because the channels were not good for entertainment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was a complete suprise. I knew it would be nice but just how nice was completely unexpected. We were upgraded upon arrival into room 7, a room with it's own garden. The bedroom and bathroom were designed to look and feel like something opulent from the 20's or 30's. It was achieved perfectly! V impressed. Thai's do customer service like few other places but the hotel exceeded our expectation. ...the staff were wonderful, especially PaoPao. So if your travelling to Pai and want a hotel that's a little more up market and just 5 minutes outside town, go here....you wont be disappointed.
Cons: V difficult to think of anything but if I was staying more than a week a better option of films on the TV would have been an improvement.

Breakfast including many options so it was convinient for us because we are vegetarians and it was delicious - they serve it really quick and everything is fresh! The owners pick us from the van station and took us back on the last day - free of charge. Good vibes and friendly invirement in the place! Room is very clean and very comfort. As you can read, we really liked the place. Book it! You won't regret!

Pros: Excellent location in walking distance from town. Fantastic friendly and helpful staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great host, nice place, a short walk out of the town center
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with lovely staff that handle every request we had. They picked us from the bus station and gave us ride to the city center each time we needed. The breakfast was just what is needed.
Cons: Unfortunately the walking bridge that connect the hotel to city center collapse due to floods therefore the guests are coupled to the shuttles however it is nice since you don't have to walk at all...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff, can sort out anything you ask for. Great location - 5 minutes walk to the night market yet very peaceful.
Cons: A bit small, funky sewage smell in the room for about 10 minutes a day
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The place was beautiful and very well maintained. lovely staff help us very much, great pool very peacfull and quite.
Cons: The bridge was broken, going to town and back was too far. Hope they fix it soon. Johnathan help us very much and very grateful to him. Other than that nothing really..

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our experience at Pai Island was incredible. The staff were very attentive and always looked after us. They prepared a huge breakfast every morning which was amazing. All the facilities were great, especially the free shuttle bus to town. We loved everything about this resort and will definitely be back again.

Pros: The atmosphere, staff, cleanliness, room facilities , etc. They are all well prepared for us so we were very satisfied in all services while staying there. We love Pai Island Resort as much as we love Pai.
Cons: Nothings. They are all very good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness and tidy, staff and attention to details
Cons: The bed not comfy enough (too hard for us)
7.5 Good
Pros: The rooms and grounds are extraordinary.
Cons: The restaurant is sub par for Thailand at best and definitely not becoming of a hotel that wishes to be part of Leading hotels of the world. Food, especially dinner, was extraordinarily bland, cold, very slow and at times uneatable. Skip the food but the rest is great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absoulely memorable experience in Pai. The service from the crew was exellent, very considerate in all area. Room was a bit smaller than we expected but very clean, ant and small gecko (if dont mind) were reminding us that we are living in a natuarl enviorment. Meals provided in hotel were great, full of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner were also very nice so that we had several times during our 3 nights stay.
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice atmosphere and nice staff. I had nice experience. Indeed, so far from Chiang Mai! But, there for the stay at this hotel gave me satisfaction after long driving.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location in the center of Pai. If you arrive by car, make sure you get to the Hotel parking till 4PM as there are night street markets around and on the main street entrance. I couldn't get the car so far and had to park it somewhere else on the first day. We had a double room, with a nice balkony near to the swimming pool. Extremely quiet, you can bearly hear the night street market which is very busy. Small but refreshing swimming pool on the marvellous well kept garden.
Cons: There are lots of mosquitoes but this is everywhere near the forest. Thailand is very green and mosquitoes are part of the nature. Get enough repelent. Hotel staff leaves a anti-mosquitoes spiral every day at sunset on the terrace. Breakfast could be better for such a good rated hotel, coffee was terrible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simple, clean, convenient, great location, great view of the river.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast to order anything on the menu. No buffet which I don't mind as the food is made to order. All staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. Went out of their way.
Cons: I loved the place but was appalled to see the 2 white cushions in the room were dirty with body fluid stains.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place with great location. Right in front of the walking street and surrounded with cafe, shop and massage shop. Lovely swimming pool with river view. Friendly and supportive staffs.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very nice, the property and location were great. The staff was very helpful. The gardens were beautifully maintained. Pleasantly quiet as we were so close to the walking street.
Cons: The room was lovely but nowhere to hang your towel in the bathroom and the shower door was very small. The steps were old and slippery in the wet. Also, the sala leaked when it rained. the pool was a bit dirty.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s location is second to none. The best in Pai without question. Right outside is the start to the nightly market. The pool was awsome. The hotel should make more of this facility when advertising for guests. A fabulous infinity pool that is large enough to entertain children for hours. Plenty of room to relax in lovely gardens. Couldn’t be happier. Good breakfast in the price - plenty of choice - toast, bacon, eggs, fruit, coffee, tea, waffles etc. Staff are there to please and make your stay a breeze. Thanks.
Cons: Maybe £10-15 too expensive. A few bugs here and there, but your in the tropics for goodness sakes!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location! Nice bungalows. Beautiful surrounding and 30 sek to the main street but still peaceful and quiet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome breakfast and scenery.
7.9 Good
Pros: The service was good, the stuff was really nice and the location was amazing!
Cons: The bed was very bad and uncomfortable, the shower was old and we didn’t have warm water in the shower

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with super comfy beds. The property has a good outdoor vibe.
Cons: The breakfast could have been better as they only served coffee and toast.
7.5 Good
Pros: What a beautiful bungalow! Loved the little houses, the location is not too far from the walking street in Pai, the room was cleaned every day, the hot water didn't work so they changed the whole thing, so nice.
Cons: The TV is an old TV, but you don't come to watch TV really. There was a massive bug in the room and we couldn't sleep properly knowing it was there but that's on our behalf, still they're were lots of mosquitoes too
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice large rooms. Quiet street, close to the night market and restaurants. I would have loved to stay longer if the beds were better quality
Cons: The bed and pillows were rock hard and the linen was dirty. It is a shame because I would have stayed here longer if these issues were resolved.

Cons: Management had limited English. No breakfast.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for a total of 6 days. Loved the location and the simple, clean room. They don't have a lot of power outlets in the room (none by the bed for phone charging) but they do keep multi-outlet extender boxes at the desk. The pool area is cute and the grounds are well maintained. It is by the river, so very quiet but super walkable to all of the yummy street food on the Pai Walking Street. We did not have breakfast there but they have reasonable prices on the menu. We had an issue with our neighboring room making a lot of noise one night + early the next morning. They helped us by solving the problem, and were flexible with options.
Cons: My only negative is the WIFI -very unstable and often non-existent. This was bad for me because I needed to get some work done - they tried to help by giving me another login (they really are super helpful) but same issue - they said bc of the rain. I recommend this place if you do not need strong WIFI, everything else was great!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, at the end of the famous walking street. Swimming pool is great to cool down after a day out. The rooms are basic but comfortable, nice little terrace in front of the house. The property is well maintained and clean. Staff is fantastic and very helpful!
Cons: The house we had, had some mold in the bathroom. It could use a new toilet seat as well, this one had some yellow marks on it which we couldn't get off. A fridge in the room would have been nice to keep some cold water.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely rooms, pretty gardens, nice little pool, friendly helpful staff and ideal location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfortable rooms, excellent central location next to river, pool and gardens beautifully maintained, very quiet even though close to the action. Staff all friendly and helpful.
Cons: There was nothing I disliked about the property.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, quiet, close to the river, close to the center, nets on the windows
Cons: No safe, no fridge, mosquitos, doesn't feel private because of the windows, no decor
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, close to everything, still quiet Lovely garden and pleasant pool
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything Fine. Beautiful location, nice people. Clean and central. We stay 4nights.
Cons: Nothing
Sawasdeepai River Resort - Pai - Building
7
9.0 Excellent (116 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Sawasdeepai River Resort in Pai, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Walking Street and Wat Klang. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location, very close to town centre and 5 minute walk from bus station. Loved the pool, hammocks, free bananas, yoga on site (250baht), and you get your own little bungalow with outdoor seating. Big bathroom with alright shower. Owners were really nice people. They left fresh water on the porch everyday. Would definitely stay here again, liked it so much we booked 3 more nights. Really chilled out place.
Cons: We had to move bungalows on the last night (we booked another extra night) and the second bungalow wasn’t as comfy, had gaps around the windows and in the bathroom there was no window, just wooden slats which let all the bugs in and got a lot of bites in the night :(. The first bungalow was not like this - I guess maybe we got lucky? WiFi didn’t work for the last 2 nights either, but could still get it from the cafe.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Big rooms with everything you need.
Cons: Mosquito’s
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and spacious and very arty. Lots of privacy. Easy location to get to anything in central Pai without being right in the middle of the party scene. Super friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Being a Yoga space I was hoping for more tranquility but I guess I wanted the location as well so that's hard. I was hoping to chill here with twice a day yoga but this isn't really a place for retreat - just a place that has drop in yoga classes. I was hoping it would be more social. While the staff were friendly it's not a place to socialise with other guests.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and cozy room with fridge and your own terrace. Comfy bed and stylish decorations. Good location close to walking street, sometimes you can hear the party music - but only silently. They also offer daily yoga classes. Pls follow our world trip on Instagram: @chasethestreets
Cons: The pool could have been a little bit cleaner, but anyway it’s great they have a pool.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner welcomed us with warm and is very friendly and helpful. Thank you:)
Cons: The water the has been provided had some off taste for some reason. Some water from the aink were leaking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is sooo beautiful and the owners and staff so friendly and caring! Beautiful rooms, great atmosphere, daily yoga with an amazing yoga teacher Linda! It is a peaceful paradise! I will come back!
Cons: I liked almost everything, the only not so good thing is they still have plastic straws in their sweet café, like almost all places in Thailand. Pai makes a lot of effort to avoid plastic, I hope more and more places will use reusable straws soon. They have a free water refill station in this resort if you bring the stainless steel bottle from trash heroes Thailand, so they do something already to engage people refilling water instead of buying new plastic bottles every day!
4.0 Okay
Pros: the breakfast is nice
Cons: 1) there is a new bar that works until 04:00 AM every day in the other side of the river, so there is a strong noise all night long! we couldn't sleep at all 2) the rooms are dark 3) the general condition of the room is not so high... 4) If you coming in January - February. it will be very cold and there is no hitters in the rooms
6.3 Good
Pros: The room itself was very clean and there was free water bottles, a mini fridge, good air con, and a nice heated shower.
Cons: The room was infested with big black ants that crawled up from underneath the bed and crawled on me at all parts of the day. They were also all over the walls. I also didn't like how thin the walls were - I could hear music from the loud bar all the way across the river as well as anyone walking past the room, as there were even some holes in the wall.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and everything that I needed. Great staff.
Cons: Ants on the balcony.
Kirina Retro House - Pai - Building
8
8.9 Excellent (230 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Kirina Retro House in Pai, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Walking Street and Pai Hospital. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided at no charge.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were well equipped and very clean. It was nice being slightly out of town as it was relaxing. They offer free shuttle to and from painow which is great. Staff are very friendly
Cons: The mattress was very hard and thin. The bedding was synthetic - cotton is a lot better. Curtains let the light in as soon as the sun rises so no sleep in
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were nice. The breakfast was good and the were so many facilities such a pick up from the location we were or send the motorcycle we wanted to rent to the the hotel.
Cons: The bed was really uncomfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice quiet location with clean rooms and view on field and mountains. Clean pool. Friendly personnel. Breakfast ok.
Cons: Very hard beds.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is a little bit far from Pai’s main strip (but walkable) but the friendly staff offered rides into town and waited for our call to pick us up when we wanted to come back. The driver always came very quickly. There are also bikes to borrow. The rooms are very big and decorated in children’s themes. Beds are a bit hard for our western tastes but we found this to be the case in many places we stayed. They offered a complete breakfast menu free of charge and it was delicious. We ate beside the pool. We left very early in the morning to the bus station to head back to Chiang Mai but the staff woke up early to make sure we got to the bus on time and even packed the six of us a lunch!!! It was really sweet and considerate especially since we were on our way out and so, technically, no longer their guests.
7.1 Good
Pros: Quiet location just out of Pia, but glad they have a free shuttle into Pia. Ying the manager was lovely. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Pool was closed for maintenance but it is low season. If you want to hire a motorcycle do it in town it’s cheaper and much more options.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view is good. The bed is comfortable.
Cons: The staff who check in asked for lucky money after I gave her tips . Although I gave it to her, I still feel incredible. It's equal to giving her twice as much.Except for this other staffs were friendly and the hotel is great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A nice place to stay at Pai. It is away from the town area, with very quiet environment. And the hotel provide free shuttle to the town. Breakfast is simple but yet delicious. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. And they provide nice facility for the cloth washing - free detergent, and nice place to dry the clothes.
Cons: Nothing.

2.5 Mediocre
Cons: The owner gave my personal information to another guest.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very very very friendly owner, he was so great and helpful! Nice and clean room.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Relatively clean and comfortable beds with facilities you require. Shared bathrooms were surprisingly clean for a hostel.
Cons: We found a massive spider in the room covered in web... clearly shows us how long certain parts of the room have not been cleaned. It is also really quiet for a hostel, we had a 16-bed dorm to ourselves (there were four of us) for all three nights.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, beautiful setting. Lovely outside seating area. Very peaceful. Breakfast cooked to order, although same each day. Great big fridge in the room.
Cons: Very hard bed, even for Thai standards! Careful for the mosquitos got in our room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, clean. Good location. Breakfast was ok. Staff were lovely. Communal area nice to sit in surrounded by gardens. WiFi worked well. Good value for money.
Cons: Bathroom very shabby
7.1 Good
Pros: The friendly owner.
Cons: Little bamboo hut, very small and old.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was beautiful. Our rooms had a nice little balcony over looking lush green trees. A short walk to the centre of pai. The family who run this place are also so lovely and helpful. I will always stay here in pai.
6.7 Good
Pros: Budget price for a basic but very clean dorm room, nothing fancy. There were lockers in the room and aircon worked great. The owner and staff are very kind and heblpful.
Cons: The pillow I had was a little smelly. Bathrooms are open air so be prepared to shower with a few strange bugs.

Pros: I really like the staff, the lady is so friendly! Also free drinking water (no limit), own hut, they clean the room extra if you want it, close to the city but far enough to have some peace.
Cons: I didn’t like the chicken in the morning who makes to much noice haha.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome from the staff. Wood house well cleaned, smell good sheets, mosquito net intact with no hole. 22 cats :-) You can easilly walk 30/45mins (depend speed walk), or scooter less than 10 mins to the village center.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is amazing here. The location is very nice in the nature and the girl from the hostel is very friendly if u have questions. Other good point is the free cold water. U can just give ur bottle and u get a free refill. If you like peaceful and quiet with a big hut all for your own, this is the place to be!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good staff
Cons: not so quiet, many different locals (:
7.9 Good
Pros: Amazing value for money Porch and hammock were a nice place to chill Very friendly cats!!
Cons: Beds could have been more comfortable, but not the worst Animal noise early in the morning (only because I'm a light sleeper)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff at KK hits were fantastic. Everyday you were greeted with a smiling happy face. The facilities are basic, but you get what you pay for and they were spotlessly clean. The cats roaming around are really friendly!
Cons: It was a good bit of a distance walk, about 20 mins, from the town centre and the road is really dark so as a female wouldn’t walk back there by myself after sunset
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff! Great location Beautiful setting
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner - very helpful and welcoming!! A little walk from town (15 mins). Worth the extra trek for quiet and complete comfort . Cute hostel cats roaming around
Pai Vintage Garden Resort - Pai - Building
11
8.8 Excellent (339 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Pai Vintage Garden Resort in Pai, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Walking Street and Wat Luang. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality of people and services.
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is really nicely decorated and the room was at a very good shape, no bugs or dampness. The room was also very large. Breakfast was good and was a la carte. To overcome the distance from the city (20 min walking), the receptionist offered to give us a ride and pick us up whenever we liked. In general, the receptionist Visanu was very helpful and tried to help with every request.
Cons: The bed was very hard, but we asked the staff to put a blanket over the mattress and it helped a bit. Pillows were also very hard, even after we asked replacing them to softer pillows. Our room didn't have a remote for the aircon, which was set to 24. The room didn't offer a lot of privacy, and didn't have any storage space or sitting area. No real milk or coffee at breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a gorgeous peaceful place, and it feels totally immersed in nature. My bungalow was cozy and super clean, and the wi-fi worked perfectly. The shower was separated from the rest of the bathroom (instead of the typical Asian wet shower), and the hot water was great. There's always water and coffee/tea available in the lobby. The owner of the hotel is SO kind. He even offered to drive me into town whenever I was leaving and said I could call him to pick me up (it's a 15-20 minute walk otherwise). It's an incredible value for the money, highly recommend this place!
Cons: The mattress and especially the pillows are quite hard, and the eggs at breakfast could've been cooked a little more thoroughly.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel owner was very lovely and kind, breakfast was delicious and the location is really good, quiet and in nature, yet not too far from the main street. However, there were a lot of bugs and the room was too small and not comfortable enough. Overall the value for money was worth the inconveniences.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful. They own a couple of hotel cars and were able to pick us up when we got lost and give us rides if we asked. Very friendly.

Cons: Not a bad word to say about this place.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice view face to the mountains and the air just fresh ,the staff is very thoughtful and sweet, room is tidy
Cons: Double bed the size is small, will falling down if turning while sleeping
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing! You could see the beautiful mountains while taking a swim in the pool. The staff was very nice. Good food in the restaurant. They offered coffee and tea all day long. Clean rooms, great AC. As some other guest wrote, it is like an fairy tale place. Nice modern room. Pool was nice temperature. Was good for 2 days stay.
Cons: We stayed in the twin room and had a room next to ours. There was a door in to the other room. When someone stayed in the other room and was having the lights on, it would shine in to our room. Very annoying when you want to sleep and could not because of the light. Same thing with the door that we had that was facing the pool/outside where the water pump was. The curtains could not reach to that door, so the light was shining thru on that side as well. :(. They did not provide towels for the pool. so you had to use your own from the room. They did not change the towels the day after/did not clean.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: 1. Large pool - around 20m x 10m 2. Parking space
Cons: 1. NO BREAKFAST PROVIDED although breakfast has been booked! The website shows nice breakfast buffet, and advertises with"exceptional breakfast". What a scam! 2. FAMILY NIGHTMARE: Reception can not speak English. Hotel manager apologized that media consultant make mistake and that breakfast is not available right now. Then: We called 2 booking.com agents to complain, and were finally escalated to a case manager. Sorry, also rediculous: After 40 minutes on the phone, the booking agent reimbursed us (group of 3 person) 200 Baht (5 Euro!), "so that we can eat somewhere else". WOW. 5 Euro!!! That is one coffee at starbucks! We expected breakfast as promised on the website, and literally got no help from the booking platform! BE AWARE!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The Candyland theme is a bit odd ... that being said, we stayed in low season so there weren't many other guests and our room was cheap, clean and comfortable. Big swimming pool. Liked that it's a little bit out of the city centre - we hired a motorbike for the 4 days we were there and were able to get around that way. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. They didn't provide pool towels which I think is a bit odd and we had to ask them to clean our room for 2 of the 4 nights we stayed.
Cons: No pool towels. Having to ask for the room to be cleaned. The Candyland theme attracts non-hotel guests to come in and take pics (why I have no idea!!!).
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Far from the center but beautiful place ! No road lights in the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, this place is really something special. It feels and looks like you are in a fairytale :) The thing we loved most, is the staff! We didn't have good wifi connection in our room and we had some work to do on our laptop, so they arranged a new router in our room at 10 pm in the evening. We did not expect that and we were really surprised! So kind :)
Cons: Nothing!!
6.3 Good
Pros: The Pool is really big and the decoration of the whole area is super cute.
Cons: The WiFi wasn't working for the first day. There where Lots of ants and other small animals in our room. The Restaurant closes at 19 o'clock and there is no other place nearby to get dinner.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The best thing abu this place is extremly nice and helpful staff. I've been answered so many question and given a lot of recommendations and advises! The location isn't that close to the city, but it wasn't a problem to get there or back to the resort I had great experience and would definitely recommend to stay there!

7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is located in a quit and nice area near the pai river. The huts are cosy and you have your own little balcony and hammock to chill in. You really feel like you are in nature but with all needs from down town close by but at the time of our staying on the 16th of August there was a flood which destroyed the bamboo bridge from the down town area to the resort completely. So be aware if you dont have your own transport that you will have to reach the resort by foot via another bridge further away! This is a long walk.
Cons: Nothing really but the shower was lukewarm
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owners were so amazing and sweet. Place is also clean and spacious. We ended up booking 9 more nights! Delicious breakfast too. Great wifi too as I had to work while there.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location and friendly hosts.
Cons: No night lamp. No hangers for clothes. Zero amenities....
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nature
Cons: Water pressure
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I felt so welcome staying at this place. The owners are both lovely and accommodating people. We're lucky to got a room at this place. It took me a while to decide because we wanted to be close to everything. It didn't disappoint. Conveniently located near the walking street yet far enough to not hear any of the loud music from the bars. The owners take good care of this 9-year-old resort. The garden is lush with trees and plants, our room was kept clean, and we loved our hammock in the balcony. Staying here was so beautiful. Every morning you feel fresh, alive and ready to explore Pai. I was so appreciative of my time in this place and I hope you will too.
Cons: nothing....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very near from the mini Van station, and Pai Walking street. Just 5 mins walk. The owner and staffs were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and large, it has a balcony, quite surrounding, very good breakfast by the river.
Cons: It will be good if they have swimming pool.
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff very nice, good location, average breakfast. Definitely good value considering how little it costs in low season. Air conditioner was clutch
Cons: Some tiny ants in the room but nothing crazy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, and the hammock on the balcony was nice. I loved how each bungalow was it’s own building surrounded by trees so it was relatively private.
Cons: The room was a bit expensive for the lack of amenities. It could use a hair dryer and some sort of wardrobe to put clothes. Also shampoo and conditioner for the shower would be nice. (There were LOADS of mosquitoes but that can’t really be avoided in the rainy season)

Pros: Loved watching the sunrise in the ricefields laying in a hammock...beautiful nature.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The whole place is so special. It is so relaxing and beautiful and all out chill vibes. View over the ricefield on to the mountains. The owner is so friendly and helpful! All around great service, great deal, great experience and without doubt our best stay in Thailand!
Cons: The bathroom was a little smaller than usual, but no problem.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is really nice. The staff is friendly and offer free transport to the centre when leaving ( not on arrival)
Cons: With Some minor cleaning/ repair action the bathroom could be improved ( limescale on water tap and aged silicone edges )
6.3 Good
Pros: The view from the room was amazing, we were in between ricefield and that was great!
Cons: The bed was a bit hard, the bathroom was small, if you use the toilet, you couldn’t sit straight cause it was too close to the wall. It wasn’t 100% clean and there were only two plugs to charge your stuff but that was for the fridge and tv

Pros: Staff were nice Offer a cool bar tab system
Cons: There were dead bugs still all stuck in the betting, loads off open cracks where komodo kept coming through and the charging point is hanging off the wall so very hard to keep your things charging, I had to keep tieing something around the plug and still wasnt holding well Pool is in local town (when open), might aswel go banana bar (open)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay in Pai!
7.9 Good
Pros: A quiet and relaxed place, perfect for resting.
Cons: The humidity is very strong. If you have any health problem or are sensible to humidity this place is not recommended for you.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The price you pay for the cute little cabins is crazy. Hammock on the little porch was cool. Great place to stay just outside the center.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, peaceful and quiet location, comfort and joy in the middle of nowhere, exactly what you need in a place like Pai!
7.5 Good
Pros: OK so, mixed thoughts.. nice little bungalows right in the middle of nature and the view is great! If you really don’t mind, bugs insects, spiders, gekkos then this is the place for you. This accommodation is very much for people who love to be in the thick of it. Owners are super friendly and helpful also!
Cons: Ok so, my mixed thoughts is probably more personal, as some bungalows I’ve stopped in previously, have been in a nice jungle setting, but the rooms have been built to keep stuff out. I’m terrified of spiders and we saw a HUGE one, and also had a pet Gekko and quite a few mosquitos, which then lead to me not having the greatest sleep. There’s a lot of gaps for things to get in. - The mosquito nets could probably do with an update as there was a few holes so we got bitten quite a bit - It’s literally a 20min walk to the centre which was a little tiresome after a long day. Specially up hill to the bungalows - More lighting leading down towards the bungalows would be good as it’s extremely bumpy and I nearly fell over once or twice because I couldn’t see. - The bathroom light fused on our last night (maybe due to the rain) so we had to shower in the dark as it was too late to say anything. I just don’t think it was for us, but can see why it has high ratings as it is set in a beautiful location!

Pros: Beautiful views, everything we needed. Staff super kind

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about Pai Iyara. It is a little outside town but well worth it as the grounds are beautiful. We rented scooters and the quick 5 minute drive into town was very enjoyable. The pool is AMAZING. Breakfast was delicious, they grow fruit at the resort and are so proud to serve it to you(absolutely delicious). There is a man who I suspect is the owner always around to help out and he is a delight, the rest of the staff are lovely as well. Bonus, fan and a/c in our bungalow!
Cons: Everything was amazing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The pool was super.
Cons: Breakfast did not offer many choices.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is average. Pool is perfect for those hot days. They will take you to and from town on an hourly schedule so that’s great if you don’t want to eat your means or spend all day there.
Cons: Restaurant on site is overpriced for Thai food and there is nothing really close so you either have to spend the money or catch a ride to town.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The resort is a nice place to relax and to get away from the stressful life of a big city. The owner is very nice and funny! He was the highlight of the resort. He's also a masterchef!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really nice and quite place to stay, lovely staff and good breakfast. Owner is a really funny and nice man.
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice staff. The swimming pool.
Cons: Lack of maintenance. Most of the buildings look old. Loud Chinese tourists.
6.3 Good
Pros: Room was really big, the staff was really kind and offered us free shuttle to the center.
Cons: The linens were stained, all of them. It was really disappointing.

Cons: Nothing, It was amazing!!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: It is a very nice place, and the bed is very comfortable, however it is VERY loud at night due to the central location. It’s difficult to sleep and earplugs don’t fully block out the noise. Noise stops just after midnight.

Cons: Breakfast was ok, nothing special
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful garden, great breakfast, central location, walking distance to walking street and fast internet
Cons: We had to wait about 40 min for the room because they have been cutting the trees. There is a construction going on on the property at the moment.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great place, amazing staff.
Cons: The only annoying thing was the mosquitoes, the are everywhere.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very attentive - they learned our names immediately and allowed us to check in a few hours early, they all seemed genuinely happy to see us. Everything was very clean and the bed was changed/room cleaned every morning. The breakfast was also really good - very accommodating for vegans.
Cons: There were a lot of mosquitos - can’t be helped in a farm/forest esque environment, but just be prepared with bug spray!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location walking distance to everything. Had a secure car park as we rented a moped for a few days. Amazing value for money looked like paradise. Breakfast was good and coffee until 9pm
Cons: Huts slightly open to elements got a huge spider in and I’m scared of them
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice rustic hut with a comfortable double bed, really near to the main road if Pai where all the move and restaurant are.
Cons: It was really hot by daytime even though there was a fan. There were cockroaches inside the hut by night, maybe it’s necessary a fumigation.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast with fresh fruits, location and bungalow by itself was very cosy
Cons: Proximity with the other bungalows, we could hear people talking from the bungalow next to us (and they were not screaming, just normally talking)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at Pax country hut! Great location, quiet, walking distance from the city. The rooms and the bathrooms looked like new and were very clean! We will definitely book again when we come back to Pai!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The scien
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is very cozy, nice vibe and very close to the walking street. Excellent for the price.
Cons: The only problem is that because the they are located relatively close to the pai river, and there was a strong rain coming in one of the days of my stay, I had to check out in advance because the area would be affected by the flood of the river. It was unfortunate because the place was so nice.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was in a great location! It feels like your out of town but really your right in the middle of everything. Great night life, and heaps to do! Staff were super friendly!
Cons: If I’m being super picky the beds were a little hard and the wifi was slow (this could be due to the rain).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place was big and clean. The staff were very nice !
Cons: The wifi didnt work and the pool wasnt so clean. Also the fridge turns off when you leave the room so you cant keep your stuff inside. They do let you bring everything to the reception but it isn't so convenient
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very helpful staff
Cons: We had some problems with our shower but they were quickly resolved.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Best location, 2 minutes walk from the night market walking street. But still quiet and green. Very nice room. Nice staff Even though the pool was too small for swimming it was nice for a cool refresh
Cons: The shower should be cleaner The pool had too many leaves, needs to be clean more often
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel atmosphere was relaxed and tranquil. There was a small hut in the middle of the hotel courtyard, which was an ideal place for chilling out, having an afternoon nap or reading a book.
Cons: The hotel didn't offer any food or snacks. You had to find an alternative location, if you wanted something to eat. There were a large quantity of mosquito's around the grounds. This made it hard to sit out on the balcony for long, as you were simply bitten alive.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I can reach walking street easily in three minutes. I heard river and birds in the morning.
Cons: During my visit the big group of Thai tourists came by motorcycles and had the dinner on the river side. It was pretty loud event.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is very convenience which is close to the walking street. We got bungalow next to Pai River, we could see Pai River from our balcony. We enjoy to sit there every morning and evening. Our balcony is like observation deck. We got lovely resort kitty cat to accompany us almost every day. At night, we are enjoy watching little gecko and big gecko are hunting insects and bugs. The breakfast was good.
Cons: The property area and rooms are getting old. The curtain has some mold. They need to renovate sooner in the future. The music from the bar restaurants from walking street was so loud every night. We could hear it but it was not bother me too much. If someone who wants to stay and wants the quiet place at night , may want to choose another hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It's a really beautiful location on the river. the ground are well maintained and really beautiful. It is actually very close to the bar street but it doesn't feel like it as you can't hear it at all. the place feels really out of the way and secluded.
Cons: The beds were really uncomfortable. They have Asian style hard mattresses that may be difficult for western guests.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were extraordinarily friendly. One day I was trying to get a taxi to my motorbike I had left at a bar outside the city the night before and there was a bit of a language barrier, but the man ended up giving me a ride to it free of charge. The breakfast is great, I love the porch on the bungalow and the central location. The courtyard was very beautiful and relaxing to look at and I spent a lot of time on my porch.
Cons: While this didn’t happen while I was there, a friend of mine who stayed mentioned that due to the proximity to the ally, when he came back late at night there would be a pack of dogs barking and growling at him. One day during my stay I listened to two of the staff members have a top of their lungs screaming match for about 40 minutes straight—I was surprised they still had their voices afterwards. Honestly though, it didn’t bother me that much it was kind of entertaining I only wish I knew what they were saying. The gentleman ended up giving me a little bit of a discount (I think because he knew I had witnessed this) I would say other than that one issue, my stay was completely lovely. Oh...there was no hot water. I think if I had alerted the staff they would have fixed it for me because my friend did not have the same issue—but I was enjoying the cold showers!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property! It’s a little dated but very comfortable. It’s very peaceful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It’s also very close to the asking street and the bars.
Cons: The dogs in the alleyway mess with you if you come back late at night. If you take a taxi back have them drop you off at the door rather than at the end of the alleyway.
6.3 Good
Pros: The rooms and communal areas were lovely as were all the staff
Cons: Unfortunately the late night bars are only about 100m away and play loud music until gone 2am
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, tasty breakfast, quite spacious room: in other words, in this guesthouse you’ll find everything you need.
Cons: The room a little bit dirty and old, but if you have no plans to sit in the hotel all day long it won’t be a problem for you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely chill, despite being mere steps from the main drag.
Cons: While night time fun doesn’t bother my sleep, I imagine some may prefer to be further out of town.
