We didnt eat it. I forgot there was continental breakfast.
The only downside was no microwave to heat our food up. We got to use our friends tho, so it ended up being okay.
Love it! Elevator was a awesome.
We never saw anyone who worked there. Everything was handled by phone or email, even when we checked out. The elevator was scary (when it was running). But the two mornings we were there it wasnt working. So when we checked out we had to carry our luggage down 4 flights of stairs. That's not easy since I have a bad knee. We couldn't control the heat in our room. We either froze or sweated to death. There's hardly any outlets in the room. The power strips that were there looked old. The walls are thin so we could easily hear loud talking & arguing until late. The hot water did not last long in the shower (I showered at 5pm so it wasnt a peak time) I just was not impressed with this place.
They could seriously use a 24/7 staffed desk. Having to call to make arrangements to check in/out is absurd. Also we had issues with people partying right outside our 4th floor room till 4 am and no seemed to care. Also, the surge pricing for the “ deadwood jam” is insane...I paid over $100 a night for a $45.00 a night room. Probably will not book a room here again.
Location! Upper patio! Uniqueness!!! The staff was very friendly and the restaurant served a great burger. Loved the unique layout of the hotel and liked being able to go outside from the upper floors! The kitchen area in our room was nice to have as well as a full sized fridge! The elevator was fun to use!
Only one shower could be taken before the water would get cold, so alternate shower times! The roof repairs were not great to look out over. And my husband had a hard time finding the hotel because there wasn’t a large sign that clearly read Deadwood Dicks Hotel
