Pros: The hotel is walking distance to the center of the cute town. From the hotel, you can see the beautiful snow-covered mountains. The hotel was immaculate , breakfast plentiful and excellent and the staff is very friendly. This was my second stay there and will stay again next year!

Cons: shame the housekeeping didn't tell us they do not clean up the tea area in the room unless you ask. We waited two days for our cups to be washed and there asked to find out that they don't do unless asked to due to previous guest accusations and complaints. a simple sign in the room to explain this would have helped significantly and avoided the negative, on first night was a little surprised it took 10 minutes to get an aperitif,

We had booked three rooms and one of my friends were leaving early, they called my room at 05:30h, alleging that We did not payed the hotel, and even could not find our reservation! Pros: Except the great location, nice breakfast, we would like to pay a special gratitude to the front desk gentleman who was kind enough to ship my friend's jacket left in hotel to Milan. We feel very grateful for his help! Also the front desk madam who draw a detail route on the map to tell us how to get back to the TMB route was very helpful. Hotel Courx in Courmayeur was a very nice stay during our exhausted TMB trekking and we had a great relax there with all the service and equipment provided. Thank them again!

The location is perfect... it's right at the end of Day 4's hike, and set in charming Dolonne. The views are magnificent from your window and the property's beautiful patios and gardens. The staff was very warm and welcoming, and showed us to our room in person. Our room was clean and comfy, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was hands-down the best we had on our trip -- succulent fresh fruit, local yogurts, fresh baked fruit tarts, meats, cheeses, eggs, everything you could want and more. Dolonne and Courmayeur are both really lovely -- we wish we'd built in an extra rest day here if we could have!

A small hotel with nice rooms and comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast, wonderful garden with a view on the mountains (just as the room) and a sauna (only in winter). The cablecar that goes up the mountain where you can make several great hikes is just around the corner. In the evening you can have a dinner with fresh vegetables and berries from the garden! We booked one night, but loved this place so much that we returned to stay 3 more nights. If you are looking for a place to have a relaxing holiday while being surrounded by mountains, this is the place!! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay, we really enjoyed it and will definitely come back!

There is soooo much land to walk onsite, sprawl around with several decks and gardens, rolls of hay - sounds of roosters and farm animals - or simply walk to see the vegetable gardens. The vistas of majestic peaks and alps surround this hotel, especially from the dining tables of their amazing organic breakfast from homemade yogurts, fresh eggs, and amazing coffee. The unit had two separate TVs which was appreciated and quaint antique chests and furniture to theme. This family is "all-in" when you arrive with the Claudia greeting you at the desk and their extended family attending your every need. Truly an incredible location, kind family and relaxing stay.

Cons: No Air Conditioning and no fans. Only regret is that if it should become very hot (we traveled during a heat wave), their 2-bedroom unit doesn't have a window in one of the bedrooms. The 2nd bedroom window is very tiny with a restricted latch and has no screen. If you should choose to open the exterior doors for air, tons of mosquitoes enter the unit making it uncomfortable to endure.

Cons: The staff were not so nice. Said to sit anywhere at breakfast then yelled at me for sitting where you were meant to have dinner. I sat somewhere else (there were not many clean tables), they then angrily put a wet table cloth over the table I was sitting on. I was really tired at check in and could not find my passport. They wouldn't let me bring it down the next day after I had showered and slept. The location is a bit out of the way. I was doing TMB and tired, didn't need to walk an extra 800m out of the centre to get to the hotel.

There is not a single speck of dust anywhere (and I mean anywhere, from chest of drawers to above the doors). Pristine clean, exquisitely furnished, this hotel also offers the most memorable, brilliant and enjoyable breakfast ever: delicious local products, served again with warmth, friendliness and attention to the guests' well-being. This hotel is a real gem in Courmayeur. Kudos and thanks for such a beautiful stay!

Cons: One room was very small and for a couple it was very difficult to move. One bathroom in the room was very small. I only had a shower once in my room and the water came out on the floor and went into the room. In the sauna there is written that it is mandatory to enter naked. I have been there when there were two men naked and I did not feel comfortable and I had to leave. The hotel does not have a gym even if it is a 4stars hotel.

I hit my head on numerous occasions. The balcony was a sham. There was no headroom and could only be used sitting. The room was falsely advertised and the owners should be ashamed of themselves.

Cons: Oh traditionally I would say that leaving was the least enjoyable part. Figure this out: you wake up after a delightful rest in soft, luxury sheets and open your windows to admire the sunrise on the Mont Blanc....then a breakfast to write home about..... who wouldn't want to stay longer ???? I know that we will be back as soon as we can!

The hotel offers a feeling of luxury yet in an understated elegant way that can make everyone comfortable. We were exceptionally impressed by the sommelier in the restaurant at dinner. Breakfast was fantastic and the bar selections of whiskeys, gins, etc. were world class. Lorenzo, the bar manager, is a five star charmer. A good shopping street is right out in front of the hotel and within a five minute walk, there are loads of lovely options for shady terrace drinking and dining.

You cannot sell a romantic michelin star dinner having a table on your side talking with very loud voice and laughing all the time without telling them anything. I understand we are in the mountains, but if you open also during summer time Air conditioning at least in the rooms is a must! With such a hot summer you sweat in the room.

Cons: Although a brilliant hotel the cost of refreshment and food is a bit excessive. The hotel also lacks that bit of vibrancy and we found it to be a very quiet hotel with little to entertain. The surrounding village makes up for these small deficiencies.

The cozy fireplace in the bar is lovely after a day on the slopes. Rooms are cozy, but not fancy (but who wants to spend too much time in the room in italy??). A loft for our son to hang out in and a big, comfortable bed downstairs for us. The location was optimal for the mountain but it was right on the main highway. Easy to access by car. Food in the restaurant was great, we enjoyed a lovely dinner. Shuttle service to/from the mountain was prompt and the driver was very friendly.

Cons: I found the night manager to be aloof and indifferent, and although he answered my questions when I asked for help it seemed that I was putting him out... he always seemed to want to be busy doing something else but the hotel was not busy, so I don't know what the issue was with him,. I found the girl during the day time to be the exact opposite, she was friendly, pleasant and helpful so she made up for the male on duty at night.

Pros: everything was just perfect. Well located, with tourist attractions really close, great restaurants in the neighborhood. The room was really clean, with fresh and pourfomed linen and towels. Winston served me a lovely breakfast with local food (frisa with tomatoes, pasticiotto and rustico: excellent). Last but not least: Gaetano has been the perfect host, really kind, and after the check out he let me keep the luggage there while i was walking around in the city.

Pros: We loved our stay at stately Centrale, in the heart of the Courmayeur with old world charm and views over the old rooftops, but meters away from the center with all the activities, restaurants and vibes. Hotel Manager Nando was extremely helpful to assist with our early check in. Breakfasts were great. Highly recommended.
