Very updated and modern. Comfortable beds.
Not an inexpensive stay
The bed was so comfortable. The room had a kitchen and a large bathroom. I loved having the extra space. The staff was friendly and the location was great for the theater district and State street shopping. Lots of great restaurants and easily walkable.
Great location, easy walk to theaters & millenial Park & river area. Wonderful breakfast!
Well equipped pantry
No free bottled water despite gold member. Breakfast food selection is limited
The suite we booked was over the top & breakfast the next morning was exceptional
Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Downtown Loop is located right in the heart of The Windy City. Situated on LaSalle Street, this hotel is the perfect home base for vacationers and business travelers alike who want to spend some time in one of America's largest cities.
There are four different room styles in the hotel for guests to choose from. The three main floorplans are the Studio, Executive, and Superior, each of which has slightly more footage than the last. The final syle is the Suite, of which Residence Inn offers three different variations. Suites come in one, two, and three bedroom floorplans with three bathrooms to go with them.
There are a couple of different dining options for those staying at Residence Inn. A complimentary continental breakfast is served every morning and the Sundry convenience store offers quick grab-and-go items. The main attraction, though, is Roanoke Restaurant. This dine-in restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers contemporary American fare. Some of the house specialties include miso sesame chicken wings, hearth-baked meatballs, herb-crusted pork chops and Ora king salmon with kohlrabi-apple slaw and salsa verde.
Most of the people who come to stay at Residence Inn do so because they want to see all of the amazing sites Chicago has to offer. Near the hotel, people can see some of the cities iconic attractions like Willis Tower, Cloud's Gate of Millenium Park, Navy Pier, The Shedd Aquarium, The Field Museum and Chicago's retail mecca, The Miracle Mile.
