Light in room was dim. After being woken up two nights listening to trash be removed. I decided to sleep with hvac fan on to give me white noise
Location was great for walking or using mass transit to see many of the sights of the city and be close to the train station. Bed was very comfortable. Refrigerator, microwave, and even dishes to use in the microwave were in the "kitchenette". Able to leave baggage before check in/after check out in secured area. *I was told about the $50 hold for incidental fees*
Could hear noises from adjacent rooms in bathroom which is a little unnerving because it stands to reason they can hear you in the bathroom then...
Great amenities dropped
Dropped ceilings! Greasy remote in the room
Theater district
Location was perfect for our trip.
Free filtered bottles of water! Very centrally located to theaters and to the Blue line train to O'Hare airport was very convenient. Easy walk to rent bikes and quiet for sleeping
The TV was all the way across the room and air condition did not seem to cool off the room.

Great for a business trip where you don't spend a ton of time in the room.
Not so great for a couple's getaway weekend. Room was rather small and room was in need of upgrades.
Overall nice stay.
The room layouts are convenient, the cleanness of the hotel is up to par, and the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Chicago and there is a convenient social bar downstairs!
Customer service representatives at the front desk were not helpful. I personally would not recommend this hotel before another hotel because of the service I received; but the hotel is very nice and in a great location.
Love it!
It was a great place to stay - stayed here for business travel. They're professional all around.
Don't get a car here; expensive for parking. You shouldn't have one in Chicago anyway.
Great location, but...
My wife and I have always stayed north of the river but chose this one to stay in a different part of the city but be close to everything. We loved the location to CTA stops because used that to get around the city. We loved the location's proximity to basically anything that we needed. The staff was very informative and friendly. My wife enjoyed the chilled water bottle stations on each floor. The elevator runs very quick compared to other Chicago hotels that we have stayed at. The room service and food deliveries run late into the night.
We purchased our room online so maybe we were not given the best room. Our room was in a "hole" of sorts. There was absolutely zero views from the small window and barely any sunshine. The size of the flatscreen tv left much to be desired. Most hotels now at least have a 40" tv. There was no microwave in the room and not one that we could access down in the lobby area. The bed was not overly comfortable. Again, we loved most things about hotel because we chose it more as a crash location, not a place to stay all day.
Pretty good, but typical big city downtown hotel
Outstanding service and staff. The room was clean and they had a fitness room that wasn't busy. Also, they had these purified water stations on each floor.
Very small room and the treadmills were pretty low quality.
The staff at this hotel is excellent; very friendly and completely accomodating. We have stayed at this hotel a few times and this time we upgraded to the mini-suite with a kitchenette. It was great, it afforded us more space and conveniences such as a refrigerator, etc. Well worth the extra money it cost. I would stay here again and again and recommend it highly. The restaurant next door, The Elephant and Castle, is very good and so convenient for drinks or a meal.
Location, location, location - and restaurant on premises.
Great location in the loop, good service, well equipped fitness room, quiet and clean rooms.
A bit pricey
Central location, easy walk to Michagen Avenue, wonderful staff, highly cost/effective.
New & Clean. WiFi Free. Good position for shopping and sightseeing
nothing
I enjoyed my stay in the hotel in all aspects
Very central within walking distance to all main atractions. A very good pub/ informal resataurant
convenience
messy entry and atrium (ladder leaning against wall for hours, nobody using it). Service staff unprofessional
Very efficient staff - got anything I asked for straight away.
Free wireless internet; good-sized room; extremely central location
My room was at the back and rather gloomy.
