Very comfortable with open fires to sit round in both the bar and lounge areas. Lovely room. Very friendly staff. Fantastic location. Great food, especially breakfast.
TV remote didn't work
Excellent big room, privacy when it was needed but help and service always at hand, food was also really good.
More information in the room about the Cotswolds and an explanation beforehand about parking facilities.
Perfect short early Winter break. Room comfortable and food good.
Main restaurant and La Vigna rather quiet so chose to eat in bar, which was very good.
We enjoyed staying at the hotel and it was very convenient for all the other Cotswold villages as well as the shops in Stow. Breakfast was excellent with a wonderful choice.
The room(8) was a bit claustrophobic. I couldn't get a hard boiled egg, for breakfast, as requested.
The quality of food was very good; the friendliness and courtesy of the restaurant and bar staff also very good. This is a charming old building with unique 'non standard' rooms - so the floorboards of the room above creaked! However, our room was clean, well decorated and cosy with good furniture and linen.
Unfortunately, during our stay several items of food were unavailable at both dinner and breakfast time. The wi-fi system was also out of order which was inconvenient for me.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
A lovely hotel, excellent food, friendly cheerful staff. Our room was lovely. The hotel is ideal for exploring Stow on the Wold and the surrounding area. The staff made our stay very special as it was our anniversary. We would definately return again
Friendly staff. Excellant food at evening meal.
The food was excellent and varied. Service was friendly and professional.
