Cons: pick up and drop off was very difficult very hard to find where we were supposed to go and staff was not helpful and could not be bothered to say two words to us. we also had a tail light go out halfway through our trip which did not make us feel very safe that the vehicle was checked over before we left.

Pros: Most things were easy.Cons: Insurance could have been much better. I paid for the insurance when I rented the car and come to find out it is not the full insurance that it normally is. So they wanted another 12 something dollars a day. So you need to get your act together on that. Offer one plan and be done with it like others

Pros: The car itself.Cons: The fees and taxes portion of the original contract I paid for when I picked up the vehicle. Upon return of the vehicle I had to pay the same fees and taxes again. Also, how dare that you charge 15.00 for each toll on top of the state toll charges and the 15. each toll was alot more than each toll. I will never use thrifty again and will post negative reviews each and every place i can on a daily basis.

Cons: I am 6’3 235lbs and the seat was not particularly comfortable - had some kind of hip/lumbar support that was narrow (Nissan Sentra)). Other than that, car met all of my expectations. Thrifty was excellent.

Dishonest about fuel purchase optionPros: The car (Chevy Cruze) was very goodCons: Agent at car rental desk at airport encouraged fuel rental option, saying it is equivalent of $2.52 gallon which we couldn't get it for nearby (we did see gas for less nearby). I asked "is tax charged on top of that, because then it's not worth it", she said even with that, you won't find fuel for that price in area. After car was turned in, we noticed they did charge 15% tax on the fuel option, which brings it to $2.90 gallon. Agent said to make gas option worth while, we would have to be between empty and 1/4 tank. Who would dare drive the car in on empty? We used 3/4 of tank or 11.25 miles of 15 gallon tank. Which then brings cost per gallon used to $3.87 gallon. I know all the rental car agencies push this, but it's time to be honest with people and give disclaimer that tax is charged on top of per gallon price, and only worth it if you bring the car in on empty.

Pros: The rate was lower than Dollar rental was going to charge which their rate was unacceptable. Although kayak's rate was lower, for the type of economy car available, Ford fiesta, it could have been lower. The only good thing about the car was the gas mileage.Cons: The price I was quoted with Kayak was not in Dollar's computer system until I had to show them my email. That shouldn't have happen and even the representative was frustrated.

ehhhh, Dollar if you have too.Pros: Desk Agent in Providence was friendly.Cons: the car was smaller then advertised. No way it is fitting 5 people and 3 bags. It was also missing the flap that covers the storage area, but there was no one around to ask for help.

Cons: Rental car pickup at PVD is offsite, and neither Kayak nor Google tell you that. Also, the Payless pickup area was not staffed, so someone from Hertz helped me. Once I had the car, it was great. The little Kia was super-clean and comfortable.

Pros: The car was ready to go and easy to pick up/drop-offCons: The gas cap didn't have a release button, but it's tricky on a VW Jetta. I spent some time at 5am stressed out at the gas station, trying to open it. Thankfully, the internet answered my question. I would've liked a little mention when they assigned me the car.

The drop off is really easy and fast.Cons: It would be better if I can rent any types of cars without age limit or with too many requirements especially for people who are coming from other countries. I am a student and I had to visit four or five enterprise places with Uber which kills my time and money because of too many requirements.

Called budget for a reasonPros: Very little, and I’ve rented many cars in the past.Cons: The car. Horrible, rattled, and was dirty. Not to mention it smelled like smoke and cheap perfume. The check in/pick up process, AWFUL. It’s 2018. I reserved a car online. I should be able to just go. The drop off, incredibly rude service. Guy barely spoke English and didn’t converse. The price. Budget?! It was $100 for 4 hours. 4 hours! Why?! Never again budget.

I called to cancel the car and was transferred more than 4 times and never got an answer to the question would I be charged for the rental. Pros: The staff at the pick up in Rhode Island was excellent. During COVID seeing/interacting with others can be stressful and the space was exceptionally clean, and I feel like they are handing the pandemic with ease. I will not hesitate to do this rental again a few times while I am not flying.Cons: The car itself had previously had a smoker in it. Not much anyone can do about that, it clearly had been cleaned and aired out, but I could still smell it. Is renting a smoke free car an option?

Pros: Car was clean and drove well. Great gas mileage on vehicle. Staff was helpful and pick up and drop off were fast.Cons: If the staff didn't try to keep up-selling us on bigger or more expensive cars and features. Probably a required part of their job, but we just wanted to pick up the car we reserved and go. Staff was very friendly though.

Pros: The clerk at the counter in the airport could not have been more helpful in comparison to the clerk at the priority booth in the parking garage who could not have been any less helpful and had no interest in our referral to the advertised vehicle we had reserved. The second employee went out of her way to verify the details of a minivan we needed to rent to move some items. She was terrific.

Pros: Got to pick which car I wanted.Cons: Employee tried to upsell me with a better car for onlyv$19 more. Car rental return place should be specified by national - not their fault, but it was nearly impossible to find. Luckily there was a gas station open at 2 AM that I could ask where to return a rental car too. It was not at all clearly marked at the airport.

Pros: Staff was friendly, helpful and proactive. Thumbs up for this crew working at this location.Cons: I understand about not letting people go inside due to pandemic issues. But please find a way to accommodate customers while waiting outside without having to be exposed to sun and rain. There must be a better way to operate. I also fell bad for these young staff working under these poor conditions. This is purely a top management responsibility.

Pros: I had a reservation for 6pm. I called to let them know I was on my way. They said we close at 6pm. I said how was I able to make a reservation for 6pm of you close at 6pm. He said "how far are you?" I will wait, When we got there we called, no answer and the door was locked.Cons: If he was nor planning on waiting for us then he should have said that on the phone and not made us waste or time.

Pros: Staff friendly, but incompetent. Lots of opportunity for training here.Cons: 1) Have the vehicle ready for pickup at the appropriate time. Ours was dirty, and had less than 1/4 tank of gas. 2) Improve team communication. We reserved an SUV because we were 5 traveling together, and I communicated this to the Enterprise staff twice. They still got it wrong. I told them early on the morning of our rental when I called (per their request) to confirm the rental. I told them again when we called for pickup at 3:45 pm. They showed up in a sedan that held 4 (including their driver), so half of our party had to wait at the train station for another pickup. 3) VERY long delay at pickup due to issues #1 and #2. They offered to put gas in the car, and we agreed, thinking that the amount of gas in the car at that time wouldn't even get us out of town. But their gas run took 40+ minutes. Did they go all the way to the airport for it? As a result, instead of slipping out of town before rush hour, we had to drive into the heart of it. They should have warned us of the distance they had to travel for the gas, and the amount of time it would take. 4) No ice scraper in a vehicle, in the winter, in New England. Had to ask for that too.

Reservation NightmareCons: Booked a res at store near me agent said it was for another location, but was 2nd time that week it happened. Short on time we tried a different location, after confirming this other location had cars avail she transferred my res and I drove 30 mins out of my way. Sat in traffic got to other location only to find they had NO rentals avail. I booked this res a week prior. Store mgr said he'd find me a car, offered an upgrade (reserved full size). I was given a compact sport suv. This was, after sitting in their store for another 30 mins. Then after returning the car I was charged $44.00 more for returning 2 hours late due to traffic (I called ahead).

Enterprise rental office was closed.Cons: Reservation was online and I had Scheduled pick up at 12pm. The reservation confirmation letter should have NOT allowed that pick up time since it was Close by noon. I lost time and money paying taxi fare to the closed enterprise office, an additional taxi fare to return to the airport and a much higher costs for Enterprise car rental at the airport, which unfortunately I was trying to avoid since I was traveling in a tight budget.
