Pros: It was easy to drop off at this location and the staff was helpful in getting the process done quickly.
Cons: I should have purchased the insurance as they found a small 4" long paint scratch on the front (which must have happened when I was not with the vehicle as we never came close to rubbing up against anything) and they charged me $300 Euro for this. I felt it was excessive for such a minor scratch that could have been buffed out by a detail shop for under $100.

Cons: For a city the size of Venice I didn't expect there to be two airports so I unknowingly booked with this agency which is at some rinky dink airport. I had to grovel with one of the car rental agencies at the Marco Polo airport to kindly rent me a car, which they did at a very EXORBITANT price.
They charged me extra for insurance. I paid triple than what I planned
Cons: Their credit card machine was not able to block about 1K Euros from my credit card (for 30 days), which was the condition for not paying for extra insurance. Apparently even a scratch would cost me 600Euros, but I did not mind.
Thus, I was forced to pay triple the quoted price to get the car because of the insurance cost.
The issue was certainly with their card system and could be something they do on purpose to pocket the insurance money. I am confident that my card had no issues because I called my credit card company and they could not see any transaction going through and the money amount was not an issue.
