Pros:
Customer service at the location was good Car was dirty though. Rented a van, one seat wouldn't retracy in to the floor. Good thing we checked fluids - power steering and antifreeze below minimum and radiator almost dry. Could have been a disaster. .6.0 Okay

The owner was very rude and arrogant. I have him recorded on video saying he works for himself, he said his office is not hertz. I was shown the car I would be getting on the app,on the day I was picking up I was given a different car with no apologies,he arrogantly told me that I should pick the car available or forget about it. He was also rude to the lady behind me with her kids. I have a video of the interaction I had with him. So if my booking was not hertz,who or what company rented the car to me? He didn’t know I paid for insurance and liability,he was asking if I wanted to buy insurance and liability, I told him I already bought it on hertz website. The location is not befitting for a hertz,it wasn’t what I was expecting or envisaged my first experience with hertz would turn out.2.0 Poor

Staff was completely useless. I got there and they didn’t have the truck I reserved; they did nothing to accommodate my situation. I was left stranded with no options. They made no calls to other locations, they literally did nothing. This is the second time Hertz has done something like this. I strongly recommend Enterprise for your rental.Cons:

Kayak gave me a reservation for a car at an Avis shop that was about 1/2 an hour away. I had to rent an Uber to get there. After a long wait at the counter, the rep told me that there were no cars and told me to call the vendor. I dialed the number Kayak put on my reservation, and it was for the counter of the Avis location I was at! So after a couple of hours of wasted time and paying for transportation, I ended up with nothing but frustration2.0 Poor

The morning of the pickup I called Avis customer service and they told me my reservation was cancelled. When I called the local Avis lot they said I was not cancelled but my minivan was coming from the airport. I called an hour later to try and pic up early but they said the minivan did not arrive from the airport. They would give me a Large SUV instead. When I arrived 25 min later at pick they said they had rented out the large Suv and now I could have a sub car. I had 6 people to drive 10 hours. NOT HAPPY !!! I took my own car. All I got for my trouble was customer service rep saying "at least your not gonna be charged."Thrifty

Cons:
We were unable to get the rental because the company overbooked and did not care. The manger at the location said we were out of luck and didn't bother to try to find anything else. Once we called corporate it was even worse they refused to help or honor the pricing with another vehicle. After sitting in the car rental office the lady told us she was closing and we would have to leave while we were on the phone with corporate. At the end of the day no one cared about us or getting us to our vacation.Dollar
