Pros:
The pickup was not at the Appleton Airport. I landed and went straight the Hertz counter and was told that I rented from Hertz half a mile down the road. They told me they could not change the rental and that I'd need to get an Uber to take me to the other Hertz location. I could however return the rental to the airport location. I won't rent from Hertz again and I will tell everyone I know about this experience.Cons:
They could have switched the rental or at the very least given me a ride to the other location. I had to pay my Uber driver $10 for the inconvenience that Hertz caused me.10.0 Wonderful

I went to the wrong Hertz counter. I went to the one at the airport but I really had rented it from a counter about a 20 minute walk away. The woman behind the counter went way out of her way to ensure that I got to the right place comfortably. She was incredible.Cons:
I rented the car on Saturday to be brought back on Sunday. The woman at that counter did not tell me that the office would be closed on Sunday. I did not know how to return the car and did not feel confident that I did the right thing and was worried about being charged extra.Budget

When I signed up for a car rental, I was led to Appleton even though I wanted to rent at Greenbay airport. Fortunately, I ended up flying into Appleton because of cancelation of Detroit to Greenbay flight. Unfortunately, ALamo wouldn't let me drop the car off at GreenBay for my return flight. for some ridiculous reason, I had to drive the car 25 miles south to Appleton and turn around and drive back to GreenBay with the same car. Otherwise the cost of my car would have gone up by 300%. this is the kind of coporate lack of common sense that makes it very inconvenient for customers. I didn't appreciate having to add 50 miles and one hour to my drive to the airport.Avis

It was not clear when I made the reservation on Kayak that I would be charged extra for mileage. Mileage would have added another $150 to my reservation, so I cancelled my rental at the last minute. I also had to cancel my trip entirely due to the added expense. It was disappointing and stressful. I wish the pricing was clearer. I'm not a fan of the car rental business model and usually try to avoid them.National
