The service and vehicle were excellent. The process was well managed and the desk clerk was very courteous and competent. My biggest issue is that the prices have gone sky high. Your lots were full of empty cars, and your prices are better than double what they were just a few years ago. Covid is a rotten excuse. Whatever the market will bear I guess.

No one from hertz looked over the rental car With me for condition prior to taking out the car. And though the location was open at 9am for our return there was no one at the location on our arrival until 9:55a. Moreover I was Told that my card was denied when hertz put in the incorrect amount. Had the correct amount been inputted into the system the credit card would have worked fine. First and Last time using Hertz.

Easy drop off and pick up and friendly staff.Staff has been trained to push the upsell - so I was goaded into getting an upgrade for what was billed as a great deal, a fraction of what the car usually goes for, only to find my bill at the end of the trip was $600 instead of the originally booked $300. Not at all happy about being suckered into that.

Staff was friendly, pickup/drop-off were standard, no complaints.Smallest car I've ever rented, the comparable vehicle shown online and what was available in that class were two different things. I own the car that was shown on hertz.com for that class, and the car that I rented was definitely a step down.

Picking up the car was easy, staff person reminded us that hybrid cars do not make engine noise on start up, and the gave us directions out of the airport, very helpful. The small airport meant it was a short walk to the rental parking lot, which is well marked. We were delighted to rent a hybrid car.Would have appreciated a drop off box for keys, as rental contract included unlimited mileage. We waited behind a family choosing car seats for their small children, which took awhile. We were sympathetic and thankfully, not in a hurry. If we were in a rush, waiting behind those picking up a car just to turn in keys would have been nerve-wracking.

GPS cost was expensive on daily basis. Should be cheaper or provide in-car gps.

The station was closed at 6:00pm. No agent to get a car from. Station was to be open until 11:30pm, but according to all other car rental companies still open the agents left at 6:00pm.

Hertz Representative Adam Thomas in Greenbay WI was obnoxious.Gas Mileage on Hudai Elantra was fantasticBecause of a flight delay it was necessary to reschedule the pickup for a day later. I reschedule and was given a new price for the rental and was told I would be given a refund for the shorter rental. When I rented in Greenbay, WI the price was several dollars more than the price I was quoted by phone. The Hertz Representative said the quoted price was wrong and I had to agree to the higher price to rent the car. Since he required a credit card again I asked about the refund and he said that was not Hertz's problem and I should inqjuire about the reffund through Kayak which was both incorrect and unfriendly.
