Pros: Beautiful property nestled back off the waterfront/old town of Venetian harbour in Chaniá! Very convenient to pretty much everything - shops, restaurants, bars,etc. rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms had great water pressure! Breakfast was delish! One of the few properties that’s has a golf cart so you don’t have to carry your luggage from public parking since there is no parking on property. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Pros: Breakfast was superb. All organic and homemade. The hotel is eclectic yet homey. The staff, especially Crissy and Manolos were exceptional, extremely friendly, and made our arrival special and easy. The bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet. Location is perfect to walk and explore the labyrinth of alleys lined with shops and tavernas. The view from the terrace is probably one of the best in Chania. I and my wife will come back again and again!

Cons: Only minor points, the tv didn't offer a lot of channels and the coverage was not that great, i would suggest them to have a Chromecast so you can connect it to your devices, also it would be nice to have a microwave in the apartment.

Cons: Very slight annoyance was that there was an apparent power failure in the area and the satellite couldn't be fix for the remaining 3 nights we were there so we missed 3 days of the Tennis US Open. Perhaps that is not entirely their fault and the biggest of deals on holidays but it was a shame in the evenings for tennis fans like us.

Pros: The location is in the middle of the old town, first row on the harbor shore. Still it is quiet ar night. We had a twin room which was spacious and nicely decorated but had no view (maybe a bit towards the courtyard). However, this was clear at booking time. The rooms with harbor view are absolutely spectacular. Eyerything was in good order, and the staff was very nice. We had breakfast included, which was good and served for us on a little balcony over the courtyard.

Pros: The location is in the middle of the old town, first row on the harbor shore. Still it is quiet ar night. We had a twin room which was spacious and nicely decorated but had no view (maybe a bit towards the courtyard). However, this was clear at booking time. The rooms with harbor view are absolutely spectacular. Eyerything was in good order, and the staff was very nice. We had breakfast included, which was good and served for us on a little balcony over the courtyard.
Cons: It is not easy to find public parking, we had a 15 minute walk to the car.

Pros: We had a terrace with beautiful view over the harbor and square in the old part of town. The room was spaces and well equipped with fridge/safe/water boiler/TV/two air conditions and blinds. We especially liked that breakfast was delivered to our room and we could enjoy it from bed with view over the city as it come to live again in the morning. Very friendly and welcoming employers.
Cons: Would liked to have a little more space in the bathroom but it was nice and clean so that it most important.

Pros: Spacious, clean room with a huge deck overlooking the Chania harbor. Lovely breakfast delivered to the room, which you can enjoy out on the deck. Very kind and attentive staff, who made accommodations to serve our breakfast a little earlier than the usual time. We would go there again without hesitation; highly recommend it!

Cons: There are a lot of stairs to get to the rooms and some rooms have steep stairs inside the room. It adds to the charm but might be difficult for someone who isn’t very mobile, in a wheelchair, or a stroller. All of Old Town is pedestrian only so it requires a bit of a walk from the closest parking spot.

Pros: Located just a few steps from Koum Kapi area and the Old Venetian Port. City center is also easily accessible, as it is a 5-10 mins walking distance. Nice and exceptionally clean rooms. A small pool on the rear side of the hotel (towels for the pool offered from the hotel reception for the guests), where one can relax. Breakfast tasty with lot's of options. Easily accessible by car or public transportation. Parking in the area is easy (in front of the hotel or on a small public parking, just behind the hotel). The best choice I could make for my stay in Chania! Definitely recommended! Tip: In frond of the hotel, there is a small open theater. If there is a concert or anything else planned (when I was staying there were music concerts with traditional music planned), it can be a little bit noisy. If you think it might bother you (me I enjoyed it a lot - listening to music an having a beer on my balcony!), just ask for a room on the rear side!

Everything was great, the staff is very helpful and friendly, the hotel is very well located - close to restaurants and the old town - and the breakfast is delicious, with many options. They were very kind with us on our last day and prepared a breakfast box as we were living early in the morning. Great pool and very nice facilities, our room had a beautiful view to the sea and the windows are soundproofed, so we could rest very well during the night.

The food on offer was delicious and varied, something different every day, we were all very impressed, catering for all tastes. The seafront restaurants were right in front of the hotel, so finding a place to eat was so easy. We arrived at 10 at night with bags and Augusto slung them over his shoulder and took them up 3 flights of stairs almost without breaking a sweat. Anita and Samoel on reception were both fantastically helpful and always ready with a smile to help us with any questions.

The room (and the hotel overall) needs an upgrade on systems, decor, furniture, TV... its not that hey are damaged but they are old and not updated. Specifically our room was huge, number 7, we stayed family of 4, something which should be noted is that the bathroom and toilet is situated on a floor below, directly accessed from the room , through a circular staircase. the bathroom is comfortable, with natural lighting and ventilation, again is not damaged but needs an upgrade. THERE IS NO DOOR TO THE BATHROOM. Once you have gone down the staircase you are in the bathroom, this may make people feel uncomfortable, or maybe of a problem if someone goes to toilet at nighttime.

Cons: The only drawback is that we had 3 sets of stairs to negotiate to our room. It's an old Venetian building, so it's not a surprise, but if you are movement impaired it's an issue. The hotel staff carried all our bags up, so there was no issue for us, and the room more than made up for the ascent.

Cons: A note for mobility challenged people - this hotel doesn't have a lift. Even though they are happy to carry your luggage up for you, I feel for them lugging 20kg+ bags up and down the stairs on my behalf. We were offered a 10% discount at the Amphora restaurant at the front, where the food is traditional Greek: however one of the guys I found to be quite rude. When I told him we wanted to wait another 20 minutes (it was 5.30pm) he complained that he had been summoned to take our order, almost as if he was offended to be ordered around. We chose to eat elsewhere after that.

Pros: Location suited us as it was about 20 minutes walk into the centre of the town. The main hotel facilities are housed in the old area of the building which is at the front with a connected annex at the rear housing the accomodation. Breakfast was a buffet, typical European fare, the rooms were cleaned daily and new sheets and towels were likewise changed daily. Pros: Location suited us as it was about 20 minutes walk into the centre of the town. The main hotel facilities are housed in the old area of the building which is at the front with a connected annex at the rear housing the accomodation. Breakfast was a buffet, typical European fare, the rooms were cleaned daily and new sheets and towels were likewise changed daily. Staff were friendly, speaking good English and were also very helpful. An added bonus is a secure carpark at the rear for about a dozen cars.
Cons: Bar prices were a bit steep. Not many people used this facility. Perhaps if the prices were reduced then this would change.

Breakfast was on a roof top terrace overlooking the old port. A simple breakfast with real coffee. The old city harbour was a 2 minute walk where we could still get a good meal after midnight. A fantastic introduction to Crete. We will definitely be back.

You will be disappointed if you are expecting a slap- up cooked buffet.

Pros: The hotel is in a lovely historical building with a great atmosphere that makes you feel like a guest in an old mansion. There is a lovely garden out back. The breakfast room has stunning panoramic windows overlooking the sea and the breakfast itself is delicious - there are local pastries and homemade preserves, cheese and meats and fruit. The rooms are clean and cosy. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful, making us feel very welcome the whole time. The hotel is located in a quieter area of Chania and is about a ten minute walk to the Venetian harbour. There is a small rocky beach right across the road from the hotel or there is a sandy one on the way to the Venetian harbour, though here the entrance to the sea is down a stone staircase and most people leave their towels/clothes tied to the railing. We loved our stay at Doma hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Pros: What a wonderful stay! In Czechia, word "Doma" means "at home" and we really felt like that - kindly welcomed by wonderful staff! Atmosphere of the house is amazing, reminds a Hercules Poirot movie, but without the murderous drama. The apartment was always perfectly cleaned and maintained. We spent part of our honeymoon here and they even gave us the better class of room, with the balcony towards the sea. It was almost hartbreaking to leave!

Situated on the sea ( good for swimming from the hotel), with spectacular views and just a few minutes walk from good tavernas ( eg Cristianas). Very highly recommend.

Pros: I love that the building has been family owned for 90 years. The ladies who own it are very kind and welcoming. I loved the balcony!! Words cannot explain how amazing the views are, not only of the sea but also of the city. Great location and very friendly staff. We enjoyed breakfast each morning as well. Cons: The room overlooked the busy street and was very hot. There was no way of blocking the strong hot afternoon and evening sun, which made the room very hot. The heat could have been blocked if there were timber shutters to the windows. However, there was a fan and air-conditioning, which did help to reduce the heat.

Pros: Excellent location! Tucked away in a quaint alley the Bozzali is only 5 minutes walk away from the centre of the Old Town and Venetian Harbour. The staff are very friendly and helpful and will assist with taxis, excursions, airport transfers etc. Would definitely recommend the Bozzali to anyone wishing to spend their holiday in Chania.

When we arrived they had already prepared our room for us which was a really nice surprise The location is great, it is quiet but only 5-10 min walk to the main harbour area. There are also loads of great pubs and restaurants within minutes of the hotel.

Cons: Communication with staff very poor. No hotel driver / taxi met us upon arrival at the airport. No attempt to inform us that their driver was not going to show up. Original room that we booked was on third floor. Though they advertise not having an elevator - what they don't tell guests is that the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor are accessible through poorly lit, small, narrow winding dark wood stairs, which were unsafe. I would not want to bring small children or people who have vision problems. The original room we had booked was very, very small and dark. The television didn't work there was no safe, and no telephone. We immediately requested a better room. The room we got was family room, bigger for which we paid an extra 100 euros. Same deal. No telephone in the room although their website advertises a phone in the room. The room was dark and smells of chemicals. No safe (when we did request the safe - manager carried one in from another room! safe had a key.. not sure if manager had a separate key made). Felt very unsafe in this hotel. Did not trust valuables being in left in the room - even when they were locked in our suitcase and the portable safe. Staff frequently visited our room while we were out without informing us. This happened too often. Found out later that they were coming in to fix stuff. No 'clean up' after attempting to fix stuff. The window did not close, the bathroom door didn't lock or shut. Neither window or bathroom door got fixed. We found loose screws lying around floor on bathroom floor.. which we stepped on. Luckily none of us got hurt. No staff available at front office..unless if new guests were checking in. Front office was locked 90% of the day.. sometimes the whole day. We left a day earlier, couldn't get anyone to order a taxi for us.. because front office was closed. Had to ask another hotel nearby to call a taxi for us. Very disappointed with this place. Do not go here.

Cons: The bathroom is a bit too small. It was a bit noisy during the morning because it is an old building, the doors from the room are old and without proper isolation, so we could hear the doors slamming. Luckily during the night people were attentive. However, we didn't sleep well because the resaturants were beneath us.
