10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. Great views, facilities, staff, food, everything you need for a countryside escape. Within walking distant to small town. I love this place!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Garden area was awesome
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and accomodating and professional. The pool area in the garden retreat is perfectly manicured and the centerpiece of the hotel. It has wet and dry sauna, outdoor pool and spa and is surrounded with a variety of beautiful flowers and trees. Perfect retreat. The breakfast room, breakfast and staff was excellent by comparison to most European hotels. It is 4 to 5 star.
Cons: Rooms were 2 to 3 star at best and very small. Do not match up well to the quality of the staff, breakfast room, and pool garden. No air Conditioning which would help during peak summer months.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean, great view, spa was perfect
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. From the welcome, the comfortable rooms, location and breakfast.
Cons: The climate control in the bedroom made it a little hot at night .. but it could have been that we didn’t know how to change it. The door could have been opened to let in some air but that seemed a little extreme.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fabulous and staff very attentive. Room was very nice. Luxurious even. Worked perfectly for our needs and travel plans.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, very nice spa and kind staff. We had great time!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was one of the nicest ones I stayed at during my Tour du Mont Blanc. The rooms had nice upscale furniture and bedding. I also stayed at another hotel in Chamonix and would pick Grande Hotel des Alpes again.
Cons: The pool and spa were disappointing in size relative to the hotel I stayed at in Courmayeur. However, the Grande Hotel des Alpes felt much nicer in the rooms. The breakfast was somewhat expensive at the hotel. You could get made to order omelettes and crepes made. I would probably prefer to go to nearby restaurant given the price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old hotel, tastefully renovated with comfortable rooms and fantastic breakfast. Great spa and pool as bonus!
Cons: Some noise from the street at night, better in the rooms overlooking the river.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, cosy interiors, amazing staff, really !

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Attentive staff. Rooms were very tiny with little room to store luggage. Very comfortable beds and in a great location. Pricey for the size of the rooms.
Cons: Nice accommodations but size of the rooms was not a value for the high cost.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quite simply, one of the best hotels in the World! Everything is stunning, we had a suite with Views of Mont Blanc - a room which had everything required to rest and relax after travelling. This hotel coupled modern design, spa facilities with its stunning heritage building. The spa was immaculate and a perfect wind down - the staff are a asset to the company, hugely welcoming and helpful - food was perfect. Quite simply if we didn’t have a flight in the morning, we would have stayed a few more days. Some hotels just stick with you forever - this is one of them! Look forward to many more visits with you.
Cons: Nothing at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in a wonderful place in the town center, facilities are great as the hotel is newly renovated, staff is very friendly and gave us all the necessary support. The spa is very nice, restaurant in the hotel is pricy but the food is very good and the ambient is very relaxed and cozy.
Cons: The hotel has a wonderful spa (Clarins) and advertises massages and treatments eg facial as being available. We booked the hotel last minute however we would have expected that we could have enjoyed massages and treatments as per hotel internet site. unfortunately we found out that the massages and treatments are open to everyone (not just hotel guests) and to book them you need to do that far in advance (which of course is not ideal when u want a last minute escape weekend). Hence recommendation is to book in advance the massage / treatment you may want, or forget it. It is also fair to say that the hotel staff really tried hard to support and found a solution for a treatment in an outside salon.

Cons: Regarding payment ; hotel charge so fast .

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel. Very nice, cozy hotel, with a fantastic breakfast lots of variations and super good food, super nice spa but lots of people, we chose to swim the last half hour when there were hardly any people, just close to the cable car they take you to 3842 m a wonderful and unique experience. The hotel is very close to the center with all the cozy shops and restaurants, as well as close to the train that takes you up to the Mer de glace glacier. Wow what a pleasant experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Perfect location, nice pool and Brazil bath, cozy room w/balcony. Great value for the price and helpful staff.
6.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is new, rooms are cozy and bathrooms are new and well decorated. The location is nice if you want to spend a weekend in Chamonix. Staff overall polite.
Cons: It feels like the management of this hotel doesn’t take care of things. The elevator was 3 days without light and they didn’t even care to put a torch or temporary light for safety reasons. The cleaning lady cleaned out room at 3.30pm while we wanted to rest! The spa had an empty bar where it was supposed to have tea to relax. The room had no mini bar and it was very hot- they was no air con. We were thirsty the whole time and when we went to the bar downstairs we had to wait for long to ask for a glass of water. It is the typical case where you see that the owner invested money for the infrastructure but the management is very poor. The hotel price was TOO expensive for low season so obviously the expectation was equivalent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really a wonderful location just besides "Aiguille du midi"! Very nice hotel with a library, lot of games for kids, nice bar aria and great SPA to relax!!!
Cons: Finally in SPA there were not enough seats to chill out! For breakfast some hot food was not warm enough....
4.5 Okay
Pros: 1- Location is really good, close to the center. 2- Check in/out was fast 3- Swimming Pool looks ok.
Cons: 1- There was extremely bad & disgusting smell in the toilet all the time, asked them couple of times to clean it with no improvement. 2- Parking access is from back side, parking is not free & costs 15€ per night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and clean familyroom and nice landscape. Good parking facilities. Spa was excellent, pool and saunas were relaxing. After staying in apartments we were looking for a fridge and restaurant was fancy. But overall an excellent stay!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, beautiful wooden building inside and out. Bargain price and good location.

Pros: Super-friendly and helpful staff really made our stay a delight. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are charming and spacious (we had a superior double with a generous balcony overlooking the Arve river), breakfast was good value for money and the afternoon tea and cakes offered each day was a bonus after a day of skiing. There is a sauna and fitness room, a games room and a very inviting open fire.

7.9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was superb with a vast selection of beautifully presented goodies. It was almost cruel to have a bottle of champagne on the buffet, seeing as how we had a 25 km hike in front of us that day! We also loved that due to an early start on our last day, we were not charged for breakfast that morning, very much appreciated!
Cons: This is absolutely not the fault of the hotel as the location is stunning and access to the Brevent cable car is really convenient. But if you want an easy walk home after a night of eating and drinking, catch a taxi!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I grew up in Chamonix at a time the valley was still pretty covered by fields of flowers and got married in Chamonix. So last week-end we came for our 17th wedding anniversary. I was looking for the alpine atmosphere I was used to with the comfort of a high range hotel. Our stay fully confirmed what I knew about Bois Prin. Great localization, on the sunny side of the valley, with full view on the mountains and fields with sheep around. All the expected facilities including a private wellness area. For this special week-end I had a specific request and we really appreciated that the owners found the perfect solution. We had a great stay that we will remember.
Cons: Too short.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The outside view was perfect, The breakfast was good Parking availability
Cons: Nothing was negative.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful resort in the heart of Chamonix with an amazing breakfast and French vibe!
Cons: Parking is a little difficult.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Really convenient location, beautiful and well-maintained. Comfortable and well-decorated rooms that were spacious and well-appointed. Would recommend!
Cons: Free parking is a challenge near their hotel unless you would like to pay their daily rate of €25 per day or in a public pay parking facility, but overall not a hindrance to the experience.
7.1 Good
Pros: The view
Cons: We stayed for 1 night (5th of noovemeber to 6th). For 71€/night (city tax included) and 20€ parking I expected at least some benefits, such as their facilities to work properly or to be open even if it’s low season - after all, that’s why I chose to stay here. I didn’t like: - jacuzzi was closed (I don’t know the reason) - They should warn their clients that the cable car is most probably closed between 1st of Nov and 15 dec. The girl from the reception told me it was open during this time of the year if the weather is fine. Guess what? It’s closed either way! - The room: the head of the shower was broken; the door from the balcony is not closing very well, you can hear the wind Conclusion: if you want for your clients to return you should consider the negatives above and build a trustworthy relationship with the people who want to enjoy their stay at your hotel. The room facilities should be upgraded, most of b&b’s or hotels which are a lot worse at least have some toiletries included for the ladies and men (betigase de urechi, hair conditioner, etc)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: every thing was nice and clean. if we could park closer to the hotel or inside the hotel, it would have been perfect. hope to visit there again next year

Pros: Cosy, spacious room with modern facilities. High pressure shower and complimentary nespresso coffee was a welcome treat
Cons: The panoramic bar had limited choice and both bars closed quite early
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms where clean, modern and cosy. The views are fantastic from our room (516). Views from the restaurant are breath taking and the spa is lovely although very busy even out of season.
Cons: First mornings breakfast was fantastic. Great selection of food, good service, fantastic view. Second morning was like being in a different place. No food left. No tables to sit down on because every table was dirty with used plates etc no clean cups, cutlery. Evening meal was tasty but not much menu choices. Only a set menu with 2 or 3 options to chose from.
7.9 Good
Pros: The restaurant in the rooftop is delicious . The view from our suite supposed to be great but unfortunately the visibility was bad so we couldn’t see anything
Cons: The toilet was little bit dirty i found a used drinking can in the toilet
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel is brand new, modern design; staff was friendly and the breakfast is a must! beautiful selection with stunning views of the mountain. Near the train that goes to the train station to go to "Montenvers - Mer de Glace"
Cons: There's no temperature control in the rooms, we visited the hotel at the beginning of November with a baby, the heaters were ON, we turned them OFF immediately after arrival as the room as suuuper warm. Even with the heaters OFF we had to keep a window open over night, because the bed linens are too thick and warm... leaving the window open wasn't great for the baby either... We spent a very uncomfortable night after all. I guess is all thought for glacial temperatures and coziness, but for us it was too much. We have been in Chamonix before and are definitely planning to go back, but this hotel won't be our choice anymore. For the same price range we can get better views and more comfortable sleep elsewhere.

Pros: We were transfered to the hotel Priéuré as the Croix Blanche was undergoing renervations Hats off to them for picking such a great property. All staff were happy and helpful, will certainly stay here again.
Cons: Couldn’t hang up towels as no rails or hooks were provided so it was difficult to dry them. Hardly worth a mention though.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Well appointed rooms. Family room excellent for family with 2 adult children.
Cons: Stayed in two separate rooms within a week, soap missing from shower both times.

5.0 Okay
Pros: the breakfast was very good and had a good choice between hot and cold and sweet and savoury..we ate in the restaurant on site and it was acceptable..however we found the best place to eat was ( Josephines ) just down the street heading back to Railway Station,,they served large meals all day and into the night, with a very entertaining group of male waiters..the sights all stand out,,we enjoyed our train trip up the mountain,>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..,
Cons: we understand the building is very old,,but it appears not a lot of money goes back into the hotel,,in the reviews they keep saying they are doing renovations soon,,and they have been saying that for a couple of years..they tell you the wifi does not work in the rooms, but will be fixed when they do renovations..i did however sometimes get wifi in my room 31..
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location.
Cons: The mattress pad is to soft.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: So convenient to everything including the train station.
6.8 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast buffet, friendly, cheerful and efficient staff, pleasant dining room.
Cons: Our room, in the annexe across the road, was oddly shaped with inadequate storage and a minimalist shower room. The plastic floorboards were not very pleasant to walk on but they were not slippery. If you could get into the shower, squeezing through the gap between the glass wall and the tiled wall (not too difficult for the slim and fit, but hard for an older man with a bad back) the floor was incredibly slippery and dangerous. There were no grab rails or non stick mats (which are horrible, but in this case we needed one) so this shower was inappropriate for all ages. We asked for more hangers which made the storage less awkward (brought very quickly by a cheerful and helpful member of staff) but cannot think how we would have managed if we had booked the room for a week's skiing instead of a weekend wedding. Accor should design their accommodation better than this: it was uncomfortable and potentially dangerous. The bed was good, though, as were the windows and the heating.
7.9 Good
Pros: Love the location, next to train station. Room with mont blanc view
Cons: Quite noisy with noise of wind blow at night.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: It could have more light points jt was a little dark
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, environment and great staff service.
Cons: The bed is to low and mattress could be more comfortable.
