Friendly staff, soundproof rooms, breakfast was ok.
It's not 4-stars hotel. It should be 3-star one, crazy overpriced. Furniture is old and not maintained, holes in bed sheets and towels. Looks like they care only about money, but not customers at all. The hotel charge money 2 months in advance, promising to provide us with a quiet room on the upper floor. When we arrived we got a room with a view to the parking lot on the ground floor. To all my complains about agreements, receptionist could just switched us to another ground floor room facing a road. Swimming pool is always overcrowded with misbehaved children and their loud parents.
The pool and breakfast
Everything was painted Brown The brown painted trim f was chipped the shower head would not stay up .The finish on the toilet seat was comming off. The rugs where old and stained . We ate breakfast there it was convenient and good selection nothing special . Make sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner . They have one pump container that dose it all lol. The pool and sauna where clean .
I liked the reception, and the bar area. The room decor was warm and nice.
Overpriced. Breakfast very expensive for what it offered. The spa area could be much better, and the lights in the spa area were very bad. The bed had a nylon topper, that made us sweat terribly at night. My husband was unable to sleep
extortionate mark up on drinks ie 9 euro for a bottle of beer that cost 1.5 euro in store and even up on mountain was only 6 euro staff seemed very resistant to giving tap water in bar area(almost like they were directed to SELL bottled water)
A 4-star contemporary chalet atmosphere at the foot of the Bossons and Taconnaz glaciers, close to the Aiguille du Midi cable car and the Mer de Glace train. Relaxation is guaranteed in the wellness area with sauna, indoor pool, whirlpool bath and a view of Mont Blanc. Then enjoy a drink by the fire and some regional cuisine. Contemporary rooms and an excellent breakfast to start the day. Bus to Chamonix close to the hotel, outside parking and an undercover paid parking garage
