We absolutely love the staff. The almond scones were exceptional. The bathroom updates and other remodeling that has been done were/was a surprise ... very impressed that the Inn has been maintained in such a top notch manner. We also like that the breakfasts differ from day today.

Charming boutique inn in a quiet but central location in Carmel. Hostess was wonderful and friendly, breakfast was relaxing and served in a quaint dining room. We had a last minute booking for a room with a shared bathroom and were very pleasantly surprised by how convenient and clean the bathroom was - the shared bathroom rooms are comparable in quality to any nice hotel. Can't wait to go back!
Not the property, but note that Carmel doesn't have streetlights or sidewalks on many of the streets near the hotel, so walking at night can be a little dicey (very safe but bring a flashlight!)
