Fireplaces and clean. Staff was friendly and 4:00 pm wine and cheese was good.outside seating and fire pit was comfortable.
Absolutely no parking. You need to hunt down a parking place. No instructions on phone usage. Breakfast was pretty scimpy and if you go after 9:00 not a lot left. Especially for the price of the room.
Breakfast was okay; nothing to write home about. The outdoor area is pleasant.
Lack of personnel - When I arrived, the front desk was vacant, but for a sign that said, "Will return in 15 minutes". After waiting 20 minutes, i called the number finally someone came. Room very small. Location is NOT "steps from Carmel Beach". It's about 9 blocks from the beach. That description is misleading. Air conditioning was not working, nor was the refrigerator. When checking out, once again, nobody at the front desk.
Place was comfortable and clean, and they have light breakfast available as well as wine tasting in the evening. Staff was friendly.
Parking is terrible, there is none. You either find a slot on the street, which is all but impossible, or walk two blocks - up and down hills - to a public parking lot. We are older, so for us this made the stay very difficult.
Best little stay we’ve ever had! Great location, great staff and great room! They were completely at tentative to all our needs! Loved the r&r we had following a busy time!
Staff was awesome, we were visiting for our honeymoon so they left us a sweet note and a bottle of wine in our room. The lobby always had tons of gummy bears and the room was extremely comfortable. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, we even walked down to the beach to see the sunset one night. Everything was perfect!
