Pros: Nicole and Laurence were simply wonderful. They attended to our every need. The breakfast was home cooked and was of a very high standard. They made us feel welcome and it felt like we were very welcome guests in their home. The location is lovely and set away from the noise and hustle of Cannes but still a reasonable walk to the beach. The rooms were very clean and the WiFi worked well as did the AC. The rooms have character but it really is the personal touch that Nicole and Laurence give that made the stay so enjoyable. Itching to go back to Cannes !

Pros: Breakfast in the garden was amazing - Nicole is the perfect hostess and looked after us all of our stay. The property itself is perfect, quirky themed rooms were something we had never seen before and Nicole gave us an upgrade as it was our anniversary - one little mention is that it is on a bit of an incline and although this is fine for us anyone with a bit of a walking problem could be restricted walking into town. There is a local bus which runs every hour or a taxi is around 10 euros. We will not have to look again for accommodation in Cannes as our first choice will be Ideal Sejour. Thank you Nicole (and the other lady, sorry I have forgotten her name) for a lovely stay in room 25 and we will see you again sometime next year. Katie and David.

Pros: The room was a good size, large, light and airy. Good view over Cannes. Quiet and calm. Breakfast was eggs, sausages and bacon anyway we wanted them, drinks, juices and a choice of bakery products either in the room or in the breakfast area. Although we had breakfast around nine, I liked it that if you wanted breakfast in your room you could have it anytime you wanted it apparently.

Cons: If you come for the festival and you plan to walk to the Palais, make sure you take at least 30 min to find your way around. Good thing is you can rest from the noise of the streets of Cannes.

Pros: The room was a good size, large, light and airy. Good view over Cannes. Quiet and calm. Although we had breakfast around nine, I liked it that if you wanted breakfast in your room you could have it anytime you wanted it apparently.
Cons: We were disappointed in relation to price and what we expected from the photos and descriptions. My husband and I, after working incredibly hard and being exhausted, wanted a 3-day getaway. We dropped the kids off and headed to what we thought would be a luxury B&B with spa, hot tub, pool in the countryside surrounded by the 'tropical gardens'. We just wanted to relax. The 'villa' is in fact in a residential area above Cannes - hence good views - but when we got there, we were told that the spa, jacuzzi, hot-tub had to be reserved in advance and was extra, 69E00 for a couple with champagne or 50E00 - per hour! It was too cold to use the pool so we ended up doing the 30-minute walk to Cannes every day downhill and then taking Über's back. So, in the end, it would have been cheaper and easier to have stayed in Cannes. I was really surprised by the lack of facilities - nothing was offered - a bottle of water 3 euros, there was a kettle but no coffee or snacks in the room, only one little bottle of shower gel and shampoo (for a couple?), frayed dressing gown (where I found a tab of pills in the pocket!). Cannes is great, but shopping and restaurants wasn't really what we'd wanted and so for 250euros a night, the trip ended up really expensive and disappointing.

Cons: A day before we left Cannes a lamp in the bathroom went off, and we told about it. It was a rather rare lamp, I suppose, because it was not changed to a working one before we left. The door of the bathroom+toilet is half made of transparent glass. Although there is a curtain inside, it doesn’t provide full privacy.

Pros: This is a family own and operated hotel. The hotel is small only 12 room so you get a very customized experience. The owners are very very friendly and communicative. They always try to help you. Another plus is the free parking place. It is very hard to find a parking place on the streets of Cannes. If you have good weather I recommend serving your breakfast on the terrace it is absolutely fantastic.
