Lovely staff....very friendly and helpful. Great location. I would definitely stay there again.
Aloft was a great stay. I came for my birthday with my best friend and it was perfect for the few days we were there. For the price you can't beat it. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Check in process was easy had no issues at all. The room was small but standard. Two double beds and a restroom. The door to the restroom is a sliding door but that didn't bother us. There are no balconies but the windows still provide a great view of the beach. The beach access is literally right across the street. The public beach area was small but was still a good place to visit. The ultramar boat is also next to the public beach access and was about $20 round trip to catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Once on the island you can visit the beach and rent golf carts to explore the island. BRING CASH. There is a supermarket right next door and all of the night clubs and restaurants are in walking distance (2-5 minutes max). We thought about adding the all inclusive for $48 each but decided not to after we witnessed a couple being forced to pay for food after they had paid for all inclusive. The food at the breakfast buffet was just ok and the drinks were definitely watered down. If you can manage your expectations then you shouldn't be disappointed. The rooftop pool was nice and we were able to play our music by connecting our phones to the blue tooth speaker. I did mention to just about every staff member that it was my birthday but there was no room upgrade or small gift or surprise provided. But I did see the bellhop taking a birthday bouquet up to another room. So I guess they pick and choose who they would like to offer it to. Overall an ok stay especially if you're on a budget.
This hotel was the perfect place to spend the night after touring the Yucatan before our flight home. The vibe is fun and youthful, without trying too hard, and it was still completely quiet and peaceful at night. The 'partial view' was still stunning and offered a full window over the sea, and beds were comfortable and clean. The facilities were top-notch- the rooftop pool was huge and never busy, with plenty of loungers and day beds available and spare pool towels, and the pool table and free computers in the lobby were handy. The location was ideal, because it's just across the street from a cute public beach, and it was totally seaweed-free as it faces north.
Our shower didn't drain well at all, and we had some disappointing cocktails at the downstairs bar- none of the staff seemed to know how to make them or have sufficient ingredients.
Great location. Across the street from supermarket and across the street from public access to beach. Outstanding value for convenient location, clean rooms, and accommodating service. Best price for value as long as you don't need private beach access.
One look at the Aloft Cancun in the Zona Hotelera region of Cancun, Mexico and you will be won over. Just steps from the Cancun International Convention Center (it actually provides direct access to the building), it is also steps from Marlin Beach, and a short drive to such attractions as the Maya Cancun Museum, El Rey archaeological site, the Cancun Underwater Museum, Parque las Palapas, Beto Avila Stadium and all kinds of shopping and dining. The Cancún International Airport is only ten miles from the hotel, and half a dozen amazing beaches are less than two thousand feet from the premises.
Whether visiting for the amazing golfing, the sightseeing, the natural and historic sites, the ocean and beaches, or a bit of everything, it is all within minutes of this boutique hotel. Yet, it is also packed with many premium amenities of its own. These include the re:charge gym, the outdoor pool area, and the Vlue Spa offering massages and other treatments. There is also a delicious buffet breakfast, Nook (the in-house restaurant serving all three meals each day), a bar, pet-friendly policies, a tour desk, business services, free Wi-Fi, parking and free bike rentals, among other amenities.
The rooms range from lagoon and ocean view rooms to suites, but all will include climate controls, separate sitting areas, bottled water, 24-hour room service, mini-bars, beverage stations, entertainment systems with HD TVs and cable service, large and private baths with signature toiletries, and premium bedding and décor.
Remarkably attractive and amenities-rich, the Aloft Cancun is a great choice for almost any visitor to this popular destination.
