Great location for the music festival. You can bike from the hotel to the stadium.
The perfume in the lobby is off the charts! I had to put cloth over my face just to get from the door to the elevators. I’m not asthmatic but felt like it because of how strong it was.
Great and accommodating staff
You can't charge $100 for parking for 2 days. Insane.
Great location; great staff
Beautiful location across the street from the Charles River and next to Harvard. Walking distance to Fenway and very safe feeling with beautiful neighborhoods behind it. The staff really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, down to bottles of water when we got back from a hot concert at Fenway. Very clean, spacious and modern. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
The management was fantastic.
Room was noise. Heard the service elevator all nig
Having to pay $35 to park my car. Given location of hotel, how do they expect people to get there other than by car. It is not like the hotel was in downtown Boston. Should be free to Marriott members. Breakfast was o/k.
I wish all hotels were like this one.
The hotel was incredibly clean. The fitness center had all we needed. The staff was welcoming, friendly, nice, helpful and very funny. This was a five plus star place for a cheap affordable price. We LOVED this place and we would stay at this hotel again.
There was nothing not to like. I truly love how clean it was. It could have done without the "NY parking charge" but as New Yorkers we get it.
Hotel was being renovated
That it was being renovated, leading to a messy lobby, busy elevators and noisy early in the morning
Sawing and screwing noises woke me up at 7:30 am.
The staff was very helpful and nice. I made a reservation for the wrong night with kayak and they guided me step by step to correct the error without penalty ( even if I already passed to deadline to cancel). While I was on the phone in the lobby the night manager brought a bottle of water free of charge.
Staff was great, excellent location, great breakfast (not included, at least at my rate). Comfortable room, nice bed, etc.
Heating didn't work, on a rather cold night. It was a bit like staying in a tent during winter camping that way. Staff indicated to me that the heating units (they were old school, but I wouldn't have minded if it worked :) are all in process of replacement.
Staff were pretty friendly.
Took 30 mins to find my booking. Rooms and facilities are old and run down. No room service. No beer on tap in the bar (i mean it is Boston) . Breakfast was expensive and poor quality and selection.
