Pros: Nothing, the property was very disappointing.
Cons: The pictures on the website are very misleading, tbh this property is not worth what I paid for two nights which was $664 us. This property was more like a hostel, the costumer service was very poor and the manager was very defensive about my request for my money back. he was only concern about the review that we will post online. We had problems with the bathroom shower, the water did not flush. Also the finishings inside the room were very poor, not update it at all. I am uploading the real pictures. It was the worst experience during my summer trip.

Pros: The hotel is beautiful with many different amenities on offer, including several pools, a petanque court, tennis (rackets and balls complementary), a nice gym and much more. The service is very high quality and the team is happy to make recommendations or reservations for you. The rooms were perfectly cleaned the minute we left and there was a nightly turn-down service that was a nice touch. The restaurant on-site is very good - though expensive - and the included breakfast was amazing. There is also easy access to hiking paths - including the Maria de la Serra chapel which is about a 30-40 minute along the road and then onto trails from the hotel.

Cons: In the room - the mattress was extremely hard and the pillows very uncomfortable The hotel was cold and the staff was truly truly awful - it felt like you were at their mercy and they just couldn‘t be bothered to help with anything. Very kurt and rude. The location of the hotel was also bad - very out of the was and the view that was so promised in the hotel description was nothing much

Cons: Horrible spa service (especially the hairdresser, she took 1 hour to shampoo my hair and 1 hour to do very average brushing, through which she pulled half my hair out, and the final result was very ugly and unprofessional) Food service is almost never available in this hotel. Their available timings are so odd and so strict, we never managed to have one normal bite there. The staff is so not enthusiastic to serve, it was as if whatever we were asking for was for free. The experience is not advisable to anyone; it is not a friendly environment.

Cons: The only disappointment was that we were encouraged to use the pool & spa, but when we went up there it was in darkness with everything turned off, except one jet of the jacuzzi, which was a little deflating.

Pros: I can highly recommend this hotel without any exceptions. The design and the furniture is modern and appealing! What I liked was the spacious room and the extra cabinet for the clothes. We had one of the bigger balconies that was quite comfortable and clean with a great view onto the beautiful ocean. The cleaning - and the reception staff are extraordinary gentle, patient and helpful. Additional safe and minibar were nice features, too! The breakfast, we had only once, was fine according to price and options. Great plus are the numerous, free of charge parking spots right in front of the hotel. The hotel is just 10 minutes far away from the Airport of Calvi, though you are not disturbed by aircraft noise.

Pros: The property was very nice, comfortable and in a great location. The apartment had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the patio area in the garden. Most enjoyable was the pool which was kept in pristine condition. The host, Valerie was a very kind hearted lady who went out of her way to allow us early check in and ensure we were comfortable with our three kids. We highly recommend Casa Veccia as a home away from home!

Pros: The property was very nice, comfortable and in a great location. The apartment had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the patio area in the garden. Most enjoyable was the pool which was kept in pristine condition. The host, Valerie was a very kind hearted lady who went out of her way to allow us early check in and ensure we were comfortable with our three kids. We highly recommend Casa Veccia as a home away from home!

Cons: There was no cutlery and no plates in the room, only drinking glasses and cups. During our four night stay, our room was never cleaned. It was not a big problem but it would have been nice to have the room cleaned at least once during our stay. But maybe it was because we couldn't really communicate with the staff and they didn't want to disturb us when we stayed in the room until lunch time.

Pros: We stayed here for four nights this september. It was the first stop on our trip around corsica. We stayed in one of the mobile houses. It was simple but very clean. The kitchen is fully equiped (microwave, water heater,toaster,...). We could not ask for anything more. The camp in general is also very clean and the staff is very friendly. There is also a little shop in the camp with all the esentials. The location is great, five minutes to the beach and 20 to Calvi on foot. The price is a little bit higher but we think the camp is worth the money. We definitely recommend this place.

All facilities are included: separate bedroom with double bed, kitchen corner, fridge, shower, wc, hot water, Internet (worked very well). All necessary utensils are present. In front of the house you have a private parking for your car. There are small supermarket, pizzeria, pool on the territory. There is also a big supermarket Casino in 500m. From this camping you can easily reach by car the following interesting places: Calvi, L'Île-Rousse, beaches Algajola and Badri, beautiful mountain villages (St.Antonino, Corbara etc.). Besides, excursion to the sea reserve Scandola is available.

Cons: The hotel we booked awhile ago was closed for some reasons according to booking.com. Unbeknown to me, the alternative apartment offers to me was located in the upper town (haute ville). We only realised that closer to the actual day. I tried to write to booking.com but to no avail. No taxi would take us from the train station to the upper town which is the citadell itself due to the short distance. We had to pull our luggage uphill for more than 30 mins on cobblestoned road. When we got to the upper town, we had great difficulty finding the apartment which took another 30 mins until a local showed us the block. The block is poorly marked from the outside. I actually went inside the block once but thought it was the wrong apartment block.

Pros: This hotel exceeded expectations. Staff was warm and super friendly. It was extremely clean with a newly refurbished bath. It was within an easy walk to the beach, multiple cafes and a charming French market that sold beautiful pastries, meats and wine. It was a great bargain.

Pros: Location is great. Returned from hiking the GR20 to pick up bags. Was promised sea side view and was given a view of building under construction. Room we stayed in wasn’t as nice as previous room. Was run down and not as clean, but still a nice stay. No regrets. Just wish it matched our first experience.
