Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
7.0 Good
Pros: No breakfast as leaving too early but refunded the cost.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location is central with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
Cons: From first entering the hotel downstairs all looked nice and homely. Then once into our room.... 1 of the beds was broken and ready to collapse Toilet was horrendously noisy on flush (waking people up in the night) Broken tiles on bathroom floor were sharp Electric shower was about as powerful as a nat pi***ng Plenty of dust on upper furnishings Windows didn’t stay open Our room was above smoking area so we had smoke coming through the window (window was wedged open) and every night until around 11/12 there would be people talking loudly and shouting to each other. Cleaners did a good job of making beds, hoovering etc and even folded some clothes that got left out.
7.7 Good
Pros: Overall was good. Room clean, quiet place. Might be the middle of town but there is not much traffic. Owner/manager friendly, works way to hard.
Cons: The second morning, the owner was not there, we did not get the breakfast. The staff knew we were there, we talked to them yet we were ignored and finally left. Really disappointed since the first morning the full English was very good.

Pros: Fantastic value for money. The room was very spacious and comfortable and had a kettle with teabags. There was even cereal and milk for us to use in the morning, despite this being a booking with no breakfast . There was a delightful cat that somehow appeared on our bed in the middle of the night! Must have climbed in through the window. The location was a very peaceful spot in the middle of fields, with a short drive into Bury St Edmunds. Highly recommended
Cons: The TV was a little small for the room.

Pros: The staff were amazing, so friendly and more than willing to help.
6.0 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a good gym facility on site. Decor was ok, and it was easy to get to the gym from my room.
Cons: Last orders for food was 8:45pm which is extremely early. There was no option to even order room service after this time. Do not expect this from any hotel. Working late, arriving to the hotel to be told you can't order food isn't great, especially as there is nothing else near by. You also cannot order a taxi before 9am anywhere in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very good, nice and quiet for a good sleep.Restaurant was exceptional, staff were brilliant food was amazing, and if I could give it 11 out of 10 I would. Breakfast too was superb. We will definitely be coming back here, to explore the area more. Really, really good hotel and ALL staff were lovely.
Cons: Just a small point, but the temporary entry was not obvious when we first arrived. There was some building work going on, which were told there would be, but it did NOT impact our stay at all.

Pros: Good breakfast choice for a small hotel, with options for those not wanting a cooked dish. There was cheese available and good quality bread used for the brown toast.
Cons: Very tight 270 deg. stair to second floor requiring a two hand scramble. TV reception in my room was poor with some channels unavailable. I alerted reception and asked to use another room for a programme I particularly wanted to see. I then spent an hour in a better room with good reception.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were super helpful and friendly, room was clean and comfortable, everything I needed was there, shower had good pressure and heat control. The room was located on the ground floor but was nice and quiet still. Breakfast was fantastic, well cooked and arrived quickly, tasty and I could see they had put effort into sourcing good quality foods. Lunch was a roast chicken with roasted veg and it was really good, it was of a standard I would have expected from a high-end restaurant, service was quick and efficient especially as the restaurant was busy and we were a table of 5 ll our food came out together and the server did a check a couple of minutes into the meal.
Cons: The only thing that was a tiny issue for me was the parking, there is plenty of spaces but the entrance is quite narrow, this would not be a problem for most customers in cars, I was in a van so it was a little snug, in saying that the manager was super helpful and watched me back out of the car park which was a really nice touch.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very attentive and courteous. Lovely beer (they brew their own). Food was gorgeous and a great atmosphere. Only a 5minute walk to town centre.
Cons: Room not quite as big as we had last time. Few minor things. TV bracket broken, shower door not properly secure. But as I say, only minor gripes. Nothing to stop us going back.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little place. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely food and room very comfortable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the suite which turned out to be a whole flat above the pub. It was well appointed and quite stylish. It was a bit noisy (we are early to bed) but not rowdy, just the sound of people having a good sociable time. The pub itself was buzzing mostly with older drinkers and diners. This is obviously a beer lovers pub with six or seven home brewed beers on tap. A nice touch is the float of 3 separate tasters. The food was good, though a couple of our choices were off, which was disappointing. Breakfast was excellent with wonderful sausages, bacon and eggs. Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming.
Cons: There was limited parking in the hotel which was fine for us as there are no outside restrictions on Sunday, but might be more difficult in the week. The bar itself is quite small and there were a couple of groups sitting around on stools and making it difficult for customers to order.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff , very comfortable bed. Good quality breakfast. Very convenient location for railway station and town centre. Excellent value.
