Pros:

I had the "ford focus" class reserved but was pleasantly surprised by a Renault fluence 6 speed manual diesel. They also had a highway decal included. The car was a little no frills but super clean and great trunk space and rear seat for rear facing baby seat. Would rent from them again.

Cons:

They really nitpick every scratch to do your own pre-inspection.

We requested a medium car and even though we got the skids rapid I did struggle to fit two suitcases into the boot. I did miss the human aspect as No airy checked the car when I picked it up but then it was checked when I dropped off. Overall I felt it was an average experience.

I was arrived way to early , but HERTZ help me out , changed to pick up & drop off time . they did more than good . everything was good . Ps : why I can't have a hertz membership ? in New York : talk to them , in Budapest , I said " I did " . I told them in Budapest , they said , " talk to them , where you rented the car ". It's a odd situation .

The car comes with no insurance. I had to pay for the standard insurance with excess and theft protection. The insurance cost more than the rental cost!!!! Be careful if CDW and TP are included!!!

Pros:

Good city location and the staff was friendly and helpful. They changed the drop off fee to 150 Euros and took off the GPS charge. They tried to make the rental right but they could not do anything about the "upgraded car" and agreed that the VW Golf was not an SUV category.

Cons:

They were fine it was the left over dissatisfaction with Avis in Prague.

I got a car with a faulty tire that's was previously repaired wrong. I went to swap out the car and they were very nice about it that it was their fault. When I came to return the car they said I had a flat tire and charged me €350 for a flat tire and other charges. The car was supposed to be in total €400 and they charged me over €1000!!! I tried to reason with them but there is no one to talk to. I'll never again rent with Avis...

I had a reservation that was filled and confirmed. I got to the check in desk and was told there was no cars. No one tried to offer any assistance at all at switching to a different vehicle or anything at all. Just "we can't help you". This I do not understand as the reservation was confirmed. Very poor customer service and just a horrible overall experience. Waste of valuable time.

Only thing that is worth mentioning is the pick up and drop off was okay

Cons:

Lots of hidden charges. Excess was 800 as stated by all info I received however when I reached the desk it was 1000 so I had to take out the full insurance which cost me an additional 180 euro.
