Didn’t get food only bed
We can only fault the lack of baby changing facilities.
Lack of baby changing facilities. €90 for a Tuesday night in an Ibis was not great value.
Car park isn’t free and having requested one room with double bed and one with twin beds, we received two double beds. And no adjoins room available.
Breakfast was lovely, we often rate breakfasts by the quality of their sausages and baked beans, no one enjoys poor quality cheap sausages. Room was all we needed, and quiet at night. Location was excellent, central and lots of restaurants and bars- would have liked some recommendations for good places to visit and eat maybe with a route, of course when we asked staff they were able to give verbal suggestions. Loved, after breakfast we could sit outside and have another coffee with no hassle from staff.
My husband was very surprised that staff started clearing breakfast away while we were still eating, this was before breakfast had ended.I can understand that it's till a designated time, but when you have guests still eating then it's just good manners till everyone as finished. .or at least warn them that you are going to take the food away.
Bed was very comfy
Rubbish in the room when we got there, key card never worked to open new room door, cleaners didn't go to our room during our 3 nights stay, was told breakfast was 8-12 when we checked in, then was basically laughed at when we turned up just past 10 on Monday morning because breakfast was already closed (apparently we should have known that it changed on weekdays, without being told...)
Home to 182 inviting, spotless guest rooms with hard-to-leave Sweet Beds and rejuvenating en suite power showers, our affordable Bristol hotel puts on a hearty breakfast spread each morning with almost endless cooked and continental combinations. ibis Bristol Centre's busy bar also boasts a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking Millennium Square: just perfect for a spot of people-watching with a glass of something cold and fizzy in hand.
