Pros: Staff were the most helpful, polite and friendliest I have experienced in a long time. Everything was clearly explained and they went above and beyond. The mattress and pillows are sensational. SMART TV meant we could watch our streaming shows. There was also a selection of free movies (my wife loves to sleep during movies) Self parking was available in the Myre Centre (just across the Mall) at a severely reduced rate and this was all taken car of by the friendly staff.

Cons: Travelled world wide in many different hotels and have worker in the hotel industry for over 6 And this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. Room was lovely no faults at all, staff members were all very rude and I will be speaking to management about your so called 9 star rating as I would never recommend anyone to ever stay at the hotel

Cons: I am a swimmer and brought my goggles and swimming kit so that I could exercise in the pool. However, the pool wasn't heated. It was freezing. Impossible to exercise in there early in the morning.

Pros: The Reception Staff, the Valet and Concierge were incredibly helpful and happy to be of service. The room had a great view of the Story Bridge (especially so vibrantly illuminated during the Brisbane Festival season) and the bed superbly comfortably. The location was perfect for the reason we decided to have this weekend in Brisbane.
Cons: One lift was permanently out of order during our entire stay! On the morning of check-out only one lift was operating so waited for a while before a staff member saved the situation by organgising us to go from Level 10 to Lobby by service lift - not a good impression at all! Only a few tissues remaining in the bathroom so these ran out quickly. On both Friday and Saturday evenings returning to the hotel we decided a few drinks in the Pav Bar before retiring to our room but apart from the same disgruntled barman serving us with our first drinks when returning from the courtyard to but a second drink, the bar was closed - it was just after 10.30pm. We noticed other guests were vocal about this situation as well - not what you would expect to be lacking in an hotel of this calibre!

Pros: The staff were fantastic, the room was okay and we were provided a free upgrade. The location of the hotel was fantastic and easy to find. The room was clean and the view was fantastic. The kabuki resteraunt was amazing, food was great and service was excellent.
Cons: None of this is Stanford plazas fault. The booking website didn’t mention anything about valet parking included so we paid for alternate parking. The website also mentioned a balcony with a view but there was no balcony. The rooms AC wasn’t very good, we set it at 16 degrees and the room never cooled. It was hot all day and night.

Cons: I ordered a gin and tonic and would like to have had bottled tonic to use at my usage not tap tonic which I found ridiculous. The refrigerator could have had more to choose from like small liquor bottles. There could have been more long life milk and some herb tea.

Cons: 1. Room was poorly cleaned and dusty. 2. The fixtures and fittings were in desperate need of replacement and very tired. Even the hotel guide/directory folder was worn and cracked and looked 20 years old. The finish on the taps and the shower head in the bathroom were peeling off. 3. There were no power points on either side of the bed. In an age where hotels provide multiple power sockets and USB ports this is inexcusable. 4. Wifi was so glacial I had to hotspot off my phone to work 5. The staff in the bar area were surly and unfriendly. 6. The food and drink prices were commensurate with a top five star hotel, which this establishment clearly is not.

Many thanks to Lucia who showed us such care and concern from my knee surgery at the hospital - I cannot say enough about the staff and their willingness to help from simple things like a bag for ice to checking up on us. You have great staff at the Pacific - don’t let them go - they made our stay “less stressful “ - I can’t say thanks enough.

There's a laundry room on the first floor of the carpark. (Inquire at the desk.) There are seats down there, too. Unfortunately, you must use stairs to get there. Large, nice lobby for waiting, having drinks and bar food, etc. Even large tables for groups and places to plug in and recharge. Outdoor restaurant area is a great place for watching the sunset and the world go by. Small driveway and other safe places which make it easy to drop off and pick up. Small balcony. If you are staying at least two days and opt out of housekeeping, you get a $10 restaurant.

Cons: It is on a hill, kind of removed from the action. Because of the hilly conditions, it can be difficult to walk around, especially if you have mobility issues. Food is only okay at the restaurant. The free bus that stops out front does not run on the weekends and stops running around 6 pm on weekdays. A/C and heating unit kept making a clunking noise as it was shifting between cooling and heating. Sometimes the noise was quite loud and startled me and kept me from falling asleep. The carpark and laundry room can only be accessed by stairs. Not every room has a view. They put a $100 hold on a credit card for incidentals.

Cons: Shampoo, conditioner minis weren't replaced every day (we forgot ours - oops). Toilet roll holder was a bit loose. $50 a day for parking is excessive if paying $200 odd per night for a room.

Cons: Chose this hotel for its pool which upon arrival was found to be closed for renovations. Roof top bar was packed with people from a function that had finished downstairs so not a place to relax and unwind.
Rooms are adequate but could do with some of the renovations that the pool is supposably having.

Cons: Super central location. Unfortunately everything else was pretty average. Staff were friendly but the rooms and hallways are looking very tired. Walls all covered with marks, mirrors discoloured, ripped carpet, ripped linen on the beds, the beds were squeaky, super soft springy mattresses that slid around the room every time youd sit down, overall cleanliness wasn't great. Alot of room for improvement. Great hotel if location is all you're after.
