Pros: Location. Tallest building in Brisbane- 74 floors Secure parking Walking distance to most places

Cons: Nothing much. I stays for 1 night. Not much to comment.

Pros: Very Professional at Front Desk..... Thankyou Tiago Loved the Apartment. Every convenience, including comfortable bed, full kitchen, washing machine & dryer. Such 'good value', including position . Will be back.

Pros: Staff were excellent and very helpful. Location was perfect. Right in the middle of queens street shopping precinct. They have entrance from queens st and Elizabeth street. There is also secure car parking in the same building. Central station is only 5 mins walk.

Cons: What I felt a bit surprising was they didn't have complimentary water bottles.

Pros: We particularly enjoyed the excellent service. The location on the Queen Street Mall was excellent and the buffet breakfast was delicious. Excellent value for an exceptional experience. We will be back!

Cons: Starting to be a little dated but otherwise great - loved the room, blockout curtains, great view and beds - etc all very comfortable, bathroom was lovely.

Pros: Close to where we needed to be, quiet, valet parking, spacious room, enormous bathroom with good lighting and the separate wardrobe/dressing area. Views from all windows. Three TVs in all.

Cons: We are regular guests at the Stamford and generally are not too concerned with the odd issue but sometimes it all just gets a bit ridiculous. The Stamford Hotel needs to pick up its game...whoever the person in charge is needs to pay some serious attention to detail. It seems to be running by the seat of someone's pants. - we pay for not just decent rooms (let me get to that later) but we pay for that attention to detail. Train your staff to be attentive and make sure they have a strong command of the English language. 1. Very slow check in process...with staff chatting 2. Only Uht milk in the room, ordered a small jug of fresh full cream milk at 7.30am - still hadn't been delivered when I left at 9am. 3. Bed in our particular room is soft, lumpy and saggy - not all in this hotel are like this though...this was awful. 4. Ordered breakfast for TWO in our room, requested Orange juice, coffee, bacon, eggs, extra toast, sausages and tomato plus that jug of fresh full cream milk...received THREE identical meals but drinks for two, with rock hard eggs, no extra toast, no butter for the toast, not sausages but cheap nasty brown cheerios, if there was anything resembling meat in there I'd be surprised..finally thought I had received my milk - poured it into my coffee, it promptly curdled...seems I got almond or soy milk or some such gross imposter. Honestly the breakfast is like you would get at a shopping center food court...it just seems bare and bland. Like the kitchen is going through the motions and nobody cares. 5. Went down to the pool in the morning - level 3 is interesting...the carpet is a patch work of old carpet with bare concrete along the, no toilets on that level so you have to schlepp to your room. Spent several hours at the pool with no sight of staff, it was after 1:30pm before anyone came to take drink/food orders. . 6. The ROOMS - whilst clean the furniture is scratched and dented, couch stained.

Pros: $1 buffet breakfast included as additional to the room stay topped off a great night.

Cons: We paid for one hour late check-out to be fresh before our flight to UK but 3 people at seperate times knocked during that hour. So hard to get ready !!

Pros: As per the Marriot Hotel style, rooms are very spacious. Very clean and the staff are very attentive. Room service was excellent.

Cons: To find the valet parking entrance was a bit of a mystery, and because of the 1 way streets, initial attempts (even using Google Maps) were a complete confusion.

Pros: I liked the location, and the fact that the housekeeping came in EVERY day and replaced my linen etc. very nice.

Cons: the staff at the front desk were not very helpful for me when i inquired about routes/transport, and i felt that they were abrupt in their response.

Pros: I always like the Ibis breakfasts. Ibis is within walking distance of all of the places we tend to visit when we are in Brisbane.
