Cons: This is a typical chain hotel, nothing outstanding. I was disappointed though that they didn't offer services such as helping to coordinate a driver to take us to Inhotim. Every other hotel / pousada we have stayed at in Brazil in the last 2 years has always offered this basic service. Also, I would avoid the breakfast; pretty sure this is where I got food poisoning.

Check in went ok until they came to our room at 9pm asking for payment (which we tried to do at check-in).

Pros: ENORMOUS room, excellent full-size double bed. Very comfortable. Great shower. Sufficient power outlets, including one with 220V. Good breakfast. Very nice hotel in down town Belo Horizonte close to the Igreia São José.
Cons: If anything: the coffee at breakfast was below standard. Orange juice was missing. Some receptionist wasn't very friendly, even a bit arrogant.

Cons: A pipe broke somewhere in the hotel and when i woke up at 04:00 am, the floor had a considerable layer of water. I had to change the room. The hotel 3 days separately (2+1) to my visa, instead of all together. This means extra conversion and visa chargers for people outside of Brazil. Not a happy stay.

The staff who couldn't direct me to a money exchange, made it up by going down the street several blocks to get a taxi for me, to the door! Nice breakfast! Hungry late Sunday eve? Cons: There was not even a soap in the room, but there was a condom. The room was quite cold although there was no AC on. There was only one sheet was on the bed and no blanket. No real wardrobe in the room, just some narrow shelves.

Pros: Location
Cons: Room was cramped small, my girlfriend and I hit our heads in every possible surface doing some things like changing or showering. Does not have nightstands by the bed nor power outlets. You could hear people I other rooms ripping toiled paper and in some instances peeing. Heavy doors as if to block sound if not for the paper walls or the sound of running water through the pipes all the time. For the price it was nowhere worth it.

Cons: Room is very dry and small. Bad distribution of power sockets. Lifts take a long time. Overall Not worth it, in my opinion. Ended up being expensive for what they offer.
