Pros: If you are visiting to watch football or to enjoy the lake and the area around, then this is the place to be at .. There is also a near bus stop .. The area itself is nice and calm .. and the people in the hostel are super friendly, helpful, kind, and nice .. This was my second visit to Belo Horizonte, and my second stay in this nice house

Pros: The staff was amazing! I entered and everybody welcomed me very nice from the very beginning. They even shared their dinner with me. I have not met a person in the hostel that is unfriendly, I immediately felt home, especially thanks to the lovely Gabriela :) I really hope that I can come back soon and spend more time here :) It is a very Brazilian hostel though where very little English is spoken. This was perfect for me as I anyway wanted to practice my Portuguese. And with hands, feet and Google Translate I had amazing conversations there. :) But I can imagine that people who don't speak a word of Portuguese or Spanish might have some trouble to communicate. Nevertheless, I can highly recommend this hostel if you search for a warm and homey place :)

Cons: Breakfast was based on sweet dishes like cakes. The kitchen, the one where guests can cook needs a bit more equipment.

Pros: The only thing that saves in that place is the shower
Cons: Actually, everything was really disappointing. Starting with location (not as good as they say), then, pictures can be a little deceiving, but I wasn’t expecting so poor infrastructure. Also while I was sleeping someone entered my room (which was locked). One last point is that they make you leave the keys on the reception but they give them to everyone who enters... without any security check. Breakfast was poor and disappointing!

Cons: Our double room was very poorly furnished, no cupboard, wardrobe, coatrack, not even a single hook, therefore no possibility to hang up our clothes. The bathroom was big, but the lavabo so tiny that it was difficult to wash our hands. The breakfast was very poor. The staff was helpful, though.

Cons: I chose this hotel because I needed a parking and they indicated they had one. Actually there is a parking nearby but it's not the parking of the hotel. The room was ok but very cold. The hostel doesn't provide any towell (you have to pay for it)... Finally, it's a bit expensive for the services provided. I'm not wiling to come back there
